What'S up everyone, it's dominic tastemaker and welcome back to my channel today, you guys i'm doing a review for kawaii hair and today i'm reviewing a 4x4 closure wig. I do currently have this and i want to say about a 24 inch. I did go ahead and add some loose barrel. Curls to it. I didn't want like really tight curls. I didn't want more of like a flow to the hair and i really like how it came out. I didn't put any hairspray on my hair. For that reason, just because i wanted the curls to actually fall, i didn't want to have like really like tight curls, so this is what i ended up getting today and so yeah. Today'S look is very, very simple. This is the hair now. The reason why i wanted to add curls to this hair today was because, for me, first of all, the unit looked perfect, like the unit was perfect straight. I love how straight and silky this hair was, but because it was silky and straight. I wanted to still give it some kind of volume. I didn't want the hair to look too thin and i felt like to me personally: the hair was just a little bit thin. I would have definitely went up in the density for this unit, but i still think that it's a pretty decent density for the unit. That is the reason why i went ahead and added these curls in the hair. This is all the hair up front by the way, this is all of it. So this is all the hair for this side, and then this is the hair for this. So, even though you know it's not the thickest unit in the world, you still can make it work, and i think i did a pretty good job at adding like some volume to the hair now another issue that people come across when it comes to straight hair. A lot of times people wonder whether or not if you curl it, will it actually last so the curls last and i will say if i was to add hairspray. These curls would definitely last a lot longer. But i will say for me to not have added hair spray to this hair. I think it's holding a curl very well seeing how i've had my hair curled for at least like an hour and some change now i will say that this definitely holds a curl without any hair spray. So that's very good to know, and i do overall, like the color of this hair as well to me, it gave a true jet black color, so if you like jet black hair you're, really going to like this unit because most of the time when i receive Hair, like it's usually like your standard like dark brown color. Sometimes it has like little pieces of like gray hair in there. Sometimes there's pieces of thread that's in there, but i didn't have any of those issues with this unit. This unit came by jet black just like this, so i love this jet black closure unit. You guys - and i think a lot of you guys would like this too, especially for the girls who are on the like simple side. You don't like to do too much if you're a busybody like myself, closure units are like a lifesaver. I love wearing closure units, especially for like every day where, if i have to like go run, errands real, quick or if i need to get ready, real, quick and i have somewhere. I need to be like right then, and there i'm throwing out a closure unit. Every time, because a closure unit is always going to get the job done, it's easy ready to go. I love this. Look, though, i feel like this look is definitely giving like grown woman. It'S definitely giving like classy and, as you guys can see whenever i like my hair, i can't stop running my hands to it, like that's, usually how you know that i really like my hair. If i constantly run my fingers to my hair, i love it. Another thing that i really enjoyed about this unit was how flat it lays this is a great unit. I like the construction of it, it's a very snug fit as well. So if you have a smaller head, this is going to be perfect for you, because the fit is just right. I like how tight this unit like applied. It'S not feeling loose because sometimes when i get certain units because i have a small head like they feel very loose, there's usually like a huge gap or something like that. But i didn't have any issues with the fitting. Now there was some issues with the tracks um, i will say like at the top. I did uh ended up cutting this like track out because it was like sticking out at the top, so you guys see it's like curls and everything i did want to show you guys this track, that i ended up cutting out because it was like sticking out Over here at the top, so there may be some issues like that that you come across, but a lot of times that has to do with like when you're like combing the hair. Like really rough, you know, sometimes you can snag the threads in the unit. So it'll cause the tracks to unravel. So just be mindful of that when you are washing your hair or doing any styling to just be careful not to snag the threads that are in here. But it is something that can happen and it's not, and it doesn't mean that it's like a bad unit or anything like that. It just you know it's just something that happens but yeah. This is the look you guys. So i do like the length of this as well. I'M going to stand up just so you guys can see where this unit is hitting on me for reference. I am 5'2, so i am on the shorter side. So a lot of the times units look a lot longer on me than they do other people so just to keep that in mind for you guys, so you can know where this unit might hit you if you are taller or shorter than me. So if i stand up, this is where the hair hits. You know - and this is what it looks like when inside curl now earlier - it was actually a little bit longer than this, so i will pull the hair down, so you guys can see the stretch length is down to here, okay and then the back. This is where it's hitting me in the back, so i pull the hair. It'S pretty long. Honestly, you guys, i feel like adding curls was like the best decision ever for this unit because, like i said it was just you know, i just wanted my. If i wear like bone straight hair, it has to be like really thick full bone straight hair and usually, if i go for that, i'm probably going to go for like 180 to 200 density, because i want the unit to be like nice, full and long and The longer your hair is usually the thinner the units can be so the longer your unit is you want to go up in the density? So if you get like a 30 inch, you never would you would never order a 30 inch and 150 percent density. If you order a 30 inch, it needs to be like, like i said, 180 to 200 density. Some people like to go even crazier and get a little higher, but the reason why i don't like my units to be too dense is because it usually requires you to have to do a lot more plucking and customizing like if the frontal is too thick. Speaking of that, when it came to this unit, i actually did not pluck this unit at all you guys. So this is just how the hair is. Okay, i didn't pluck it at all, as you guys can see it's on the thicker side here, but i didn't feel like i needed to that's the reason why i didn't, because i was like i'm going to put this in the middle part - add some baby hairs And some curls like there's no need for me to pluck it and try to do all of that, but if you want to, obviously you can pluck it to customize it and make it look more natural for you. But this is what i ended up doing. However, i did bleach the knots in this unit and i did wash this hair prior to applying it so always make sure you bleach the knots, if you don't do anything else, bleach the knots in the unit some units. Sometimes they come with bleach knots. So that's always a plus. It saves you a lot of time, but this is definitely not one of those units. You do need to bleach the knots on this, and this is just your standard. 4X4 closure unit. It'S not nothing too crazy, but even though this is a 4x4, i do like the parting space. I feel like the parting space is pretty deep. If i come in closer, you guys can see like the parting space is pretty deep for this to be like a 4x4. So i do like that, and i did go ahead and add in like the baby hairs right here. Just because i felt like it was making my forehead look, kind of it was kind of making my forehead look a little big, and i didn't really like that. So i did add baby hairs. But if you don't want to you, don't have to the lace in this unit actually melts perfectly. If i come in close, you guys can see like the laces on point for this unit. So i will say that i do like the lace in this unit as well. That'S definitely another plus for me and if you guys are wondering i did tint my lace. That'S another thing that i pretty much always do. These days is tint the lace for my units and the spray that i use is this one right here. This is the evan lace, tint spray, and i do use this in the color medium dark brown. I will have this link down below for you guys if you guys, are interested in picking this up and that's what gets my lace to match me like perfectly. It matches perfectly with my makeup and it matches me just fine when i don't have makeup on as well. So we love that. I just really like this unit. It'S a very simple casual! Look, it's nothing too crazy! It'S very easy to achieve, and it's actually pretty quick as well when you think about curls, you think it's like going to take forever, like, oh my god. It'S not so i curl in my hair, but this actually did not take me that long to do, especially because this unit was on the thinner side. I didn't have to do that much, so i do kind of like the fact that it was a little bit thin because i was able to curl my hair pretty fast. So i love that about it and the fact that this is straight hair. I think it's holding a curl pretty well. Those are my thoughts on today's unit.
