♡ Hd Lace 5X5 Closure Wig | 90'S Easy Curtain Bangs & Curls! | Klaiyi Hair

All right y'all, so i had to try curtain bangs like this is cute. This is definitely another 90s retro style get into it. Okay, you guys so today we're going to be doing a um lace, closure, wig and we're going to be doing like a little 90s style or whatever. First i'm going to go ahead and start to install my unit. All my hair is brushed back um. I have on a wig grip, because i want my wig to be. You know on my head, nice and tight. I need like a little extra security because i'll be paranoid. Wigs on so i wear my little wig grip. It doesn't make my wigs bulky or anything. It just keeps them from like sliding back so i've already uh gelled back my edges or whatever. Now i'm just gon na go in with my powder and just put it right on top of the hair, and you guys seen me do a video on this and i call it. You know my um, my my capitalist ball cap. Okay, this gives me the look of a ball cap without having to wear you know actual cap and all that stuff, because i hate wearing weird capsule. Like i hate it, i hate it so um. I just like to do this little method where i apply the powder foundation right on top of my hair and um. You know it works perfectly. It works just like a ball cap. I don't have any issues with my hair coming out or thinning, or anything like that when i remove my wig everything just comes off when i remove it and you know i don't really have any build up or anything like that. It'S like it's perfect for me, but you know if you like, to have a traditional ball cap definitely do that. This is just how i like to do it. I put a little bit of powder just right on top of the uh weird grip, just so everything blends good um yeah. This is an additional step that you really have to do, but it's just what i do. Okay, guys so the wig we're using today is from a company called kalai hair. This wig is gorgeous you guys when you first get it's gon na come in a little nice box like this, and this is how the hair looks. It'S like a nice, um body, wave type of texture and um. This is what the lace looks like. This is um what the closure looks like. I am going to go in and bleach the knots because you know that's the first step of making any lace, wig or lace closure. Look natural. You have to bleach your knot to bleach my knots i like to use bw2. I believe that's what it's called powder and 40 volume developer and i'll just mix that up like a nice paste, and then i paint that on my closure and i let that develop for about 25 minutes when i rinse it off. My knots are absolutely perfect. I did go in and pluck it a little bit, but not too much just a little bit so today for this style, i want really loose curls and curtain bangs, i'm going to go in and curl my unit all around i'm using my slay station curling iron. I will have this link below you, guys absolutely love this curl iron. It works so good like i love it and it helps you move through your hair fast. So i curled my whole unit and once i was done curling my unit. This is how it looks. You guys um, the curls are absolutely gorgeous gorgeous and this hair is so long. I believe this unit is about 30, something inches like it's long. You guys before installing this unit, i am gon na um tint, my lace, just a little bit, i'm gon na spray. Some lace tint on it and then blow dry it and then we're gon na get into installing it. This is the lace tint i like to use right here. I will have it linked below. I got this uh from the hair diagram, so this is hd lace, which is my favorite lace. It just blends and looks so natural, i'm just going to do a few squirts of it, because i don't want anything to be too bright. Like that's a nightmare. For me, having my lace too light, it just looks horrible and then we're just going to blow dry that and then blow dry it now. This lace is the exact color of my skin. The first thing i'm going to do is go ahead and remove these combs out of the wig, because these snag on my braids and it's a nightmare. So you want to make sure you take these out of your wig. Only keep them if you're like, if you're wearing a ponytail, and you want to slide the combs into like your loose hair. Okay. So now, i'm just going to take the little straps in the back and i'm going to attach them um to the middle little hooks. Because i want my wig to fit snug, i'm going to go ahead and slide my wig on just to see how it's looking before we get ready to glue her down, and you guys it is so perfect, already like as soon as i put it on my Head, it's just it's just so perfect. It is so perfect, it's so cute and if you guys are wondering yes, i did go in and dye this wig jet black um any wig that i glue on from now on. I have to make jet black because i just feel like it looks. It just looks better so yeah. I definitely take the extra time to go in and color my wigs jet black. What i'm going to do is go and trim off some of this edge part. I don't know why, but for some reason they make these wigs so low down. So, like i don't know, it just sits too far on my head, so i have to trim it so. The first thing i'm going to do is trim off some of my lace. Um because it don't need to be this long, just go ahead and put that back on, as you guys can see, i did leave a little bit of lace right there and we will take care of that later. This is looking so good like. It looks good to the point where i won't. Even i really don't need to do. Baby hair but y'all know i'm gon na do baby hair, but i really don't have to do baby hair, so yeah that looks so good. So what i'm gon na do is scoop this back. Okay, you guys so we're getting ready to glue in our wig and the glue. I'M using is my kiss all mighty blunt blonde almighty bond glue and i love this glue because i don't know to me it's just like the best any other glue i've used like i don't know it feel like it like started, lifting and doing weird stuff. I don't know, but this glue has just been a great experience. I absolutely love it um. I don't really want to use anything else to glue down my wigs at this point. I love this product, so uh you just want to make sure it's nothing. You know on your skin, you cleanse it all that good stuff. I'Ve already did that and i'm just gon na go in. I'M only gon na use two layers of glue because i feel like i really use one layer, because this glue is so strong got to the point of where you really don't need a lot of it. You really don't want to even use a lot of it. Um, so i'm just applying the glue and um. I have no particular tips on where and how to know exactly how far down, to put your glue. That'S just something you learn with practice. Okay! So now i'm just going in and applying my second layer of glue and i like to squeeze out some of the glue first before i go in, because the applicator will stick to the glue. That'S already down. So just squeeze out a little bit of glue. First and then um rub it around see like it just happened right there, you got ta, be careful because you don't wanna mess up your glue like i just did right here, i'm gon na let these little parts that are like a little bit white turn. All the way, clear and then you're gon na see me put my lace down okay. So what you want to do now is carefully grab your lace and pull it down. I'M going to take my eyebrow eraser and cut out the little remaining lace. It'S not that much! You can literally just go like this, and the lace will just come off. That lace looks amazing. Amazing, like oh, my god looks so good. I'M gon na um section off the area that i want to be my baby hair. You guys know the drill and then i'm going to put on an elastic band just to help everything further melt into place. Okay and just let it melt for about 10 minutes up yeah for about a good 10 minutes. So you just want to let that melt. I don't know what it is about this elastic, but it just helps everything lay so much better. So yes, so as we can see you guys, the lace is wet lace like melty, okay, what i'm getting ready to do now is my baby hairs, and you guys i learned this new technique with baby hairs. I'M gon na do a whole video about it. Okay, you guys so everything is nice and like melted down. So what i did was just brush my hair out a little bit and now i'm just going to part off this section for our curtain bangs. So you want to get like a nice. You want to do like a nice triangle. You just want to look at it and make sure everything looks nice and even it's a little bit more hair in this one. On this side than the other side, i'm going to spray some water in these a little bit of water. Just so i can get a nice clean cut. Let'S see um when you're cutting curtain bangs, you can actually use your chin as your guide. But since i want them to be like kind of like 90s style curtain, bangs yeah, i'm definitely going to use the nose as my guide. So so we're going to clip off this section so we're going to do is take our bangs and bring them this way, and you see all of that. You just want to clip all of that and then it'll help everything kind of just like lay to the face like that. I'M going to do the exact same thing on the other side, so once we're done cutting you just want to go in with your scissors, and just kind of this is just going to thin everything out just so it doesn't look all harsh, i'm just going to Curl it in kind of like sections, so i'm pinning this one back and i'm using my ion curling iron. It'S like a big one, because i want this to be like bumped. I don't want it to be too tight. So that's what that's giving okay, you guys! So that's the first side of our curtain veins, so i'm gon na do the other side and we will be almost done. Okay, so i'm just unpinning the rest of my hair and um. It'S up to you. If you want to go in and layer your hair to match the bang, but to me you're, not gon na get the same. Look if you go in and layer it like this. Is the retro look y'all. I just love that that is so pretty. It is super cute, okay, you guys. This is the finished look and i'm absolutely obsessed with it so retro so cute different. I don't think you'll see a lot of people here like this um. I just it's just really really cute y'all, like i love the little bangs with the long ways. It'S just it's really nice. I might go back and cut this, though, because i think it'll look really cute short as well. It gives you even more of a retro. Look but it's y'all, it's gorgeous um! It'S gorgeous!
