Hey loves welcome back to my channel, it's lou if you're new, welcome to my channel. If you guys like what you see, which i know you will please make sure you press the subscribe button, that's down below as well as the bell notification, so you guys are notified every single time that i post a new video now yeah a lot of disclaimer. One yeah i'm not bald: okay um. I just have like a really low pony right now, because i was in the mood to like you know, put on a wig, so i just like slapped my with my hair back, i mean like my head is so freaking long and my forehead is humongous um Yeah, that was the first disclaimer second y'all. I know y'all never seen me with like earrings and stuff like that before um. My ears are not pierced. I kind of just wanted to um. I bought the these um earrings that are about these, like the ones that you can just literally just clip onto your ears. I kind of just wanted to see how i look like with like earrings and stuff, like that. I'M still like a little bit iffy, but i want to see how i look like before i do like um want to drastically go ahead, and i just pierce my ears and stuff like that. So don't mind that i don't have my ears period still so yeah um and i think that was all the disclaimer. I am probably going to be chewing gum. So if that annoys you um, i don't know what to tell you just know. I'M going to be doing them, but um. If you guys didn't watch my last, i guess couple of videos ago. I did seven things you need to do before you launch your your business and you guys seem to really like that video and also in the comments you guys did, have some questions, and it was some questions that um, i feel like a lot of people would Have like questions too still, so i'm just like why not just you know, go ahead and just do a full video on it. So, instead of just me responding to that comment, so um yeah, so the question was which is better pre-made, wigs or custom handmade wigs um. Clearly she um studied the question a little bit differently, but that and to sum it all up, that's basically what it is, which one is better doing: custom wigs or doing um pre-made wigs now um, i'm going to explain exactly what they are, so you guys can Know what they are before i actually go into like deb and actually like explain them and stuff like that. So custom handmade wigs can be two things. It can be um. Clearly, you can be doing it by your hand, which is with the needle in the thread, and you can go ahead and just do everything manually with your hands and stuff like that um and then. Secondly, you can use the machine and you're just going ahead and, like you know, doing the double weft things and, like you know, um actually sewing the wefts into the cap, and everything like that, so you can do that. Those are the the two ways you can do. You know custom like custom handmade, wigs and the second one, which is the um, which is the one that i do, which are custom pre-made wigs. Now there actually is two different things: there's um pre-made, wigs and there's custom pre-made, wigs now um pre-made wigs, which are basically your um, your vendor. You find a vendor um. It could be your hair vendor, which i would say it's better to find like your hair vendor, that's actually doing it for you, so you're not go ahead and so you're not taking the hair and actually sending it to someone else. I would say just make sure you just get a vendor, that's reliable, they sell good hair and they also make wigs as well, so the just the regular pre-made wigs those are the wigs that they already have like made with a set type of cap. It'S normally with that little brownish, looking grayish type of cap and um. The only thing you can do is change like the um. The only thing you could change is probably the like. You know the cap size or um, probably the density and stuff like that. So that's pre-made wig now for custom pre-made wigs, which is what i do um it's kind of the same thing, but basically with custom, pre-made wigs. You are a little bit more you're able to have a little bit more control of how the wig comes out, and what i mean by that is. You can choose how many bundles you want. You can choose the size of the cap. You want you, can um choose what type of cap you want like if you want the dome cap, if you want like black cap, if you want gray cap like you, can do that, you basically can basically customize it to how you would want your you, how You would want your wig to be made, which is the one that i do um and a lot of the times. People get confused when they do see a lot of wig makers, because it's not just me that do like you know: custom pre-made, wigs from their vendor um. A lot of wig makers actually do this method, but a lot of the time when people hear like pre-made wigs from their vendors they're. Thinking of that, you know that generic looking type of wig, where they you know they have the same cap, the density don't be there um and yeah like that's. Basically, it's just like a generic pre-made type of cap from your vendor, but um most of the time. A lot of people, if you find a very reliable vendor, that's actually can make your wig exactly how you would make it yourself, and they literally can make it just like that. Those are where you get the custom pre-made wigs and that's where a lot of the times where a lot of people get you know confused between the two um. It'S it's like two different types of like you know, custom pre-made, wigs. If that makes sense, i hope that i was able to actually explain it pretty good, i'm not sure, but if you have any questions still after, i explain it just leave it in the comments down below and i'll just try to answer that for you guys, but Yeah so, basically now i want to answer her question, which is why do i choose to do the custom pre-made wigs instead of me actually manually, um doing the wigs now? Actually, let me take off this gum um first off. I do want to start off with saying that i actually did. I actually do did both and i do do both if that makes sense, and i'm gon na explain why um i say i do both now when i first started off, i did the the regular one, the first one that i explained to you, which is the Handmade waist, like i used to take the needle and thread, and i literally used just needle and thread the whole west throughout the whole week, and you know like with the closure and stuff like that and literally make the whole week. So i started off doing that, which is basically like the basic. You know i feel like i'm talking really fast, but it's like the basic of how you learn to do like you know, wigs and stuff like that, which is how i learned so um. I started learning with doing the regular handway and then second. Secondly, i started to realize that okay, maybe i should transfer into the machines because um i just felt like the machines a was one faster and b they were um a little bit more secure. Yes, my my technique of how i was doing the hand sewing. I had customers that had their weights for like year plus and they didn't have no issues with like their webs falling off and stuff like that. But i still wanted to learn the machine because it was faster. I would be able to get more wigs out faster and also it would be like easier on my back and and basically would just be a little bit more secure for, like you know the customer and stuff like that, and also if you struggle with um, make Keeping your like west flat! This will definitely help in a sense, because your webs will be a little bit more flatter because you are using a machine to do it. So i transferred into the machine one um. I did not take any class where i literally learned by myself. It took me a couple like trials and errors to actually learn exactly what i'm doing, but with the help of youtube y'all like i am very like. If you just give me a youtube video and i tried a couple of times - i will definitely get it um, but i know that some people actually need a class. So if you do need a class, i would say just go ahead and get a class um on how to actually do it. Um i can put a few suggestions of who um does classes. I know everything ebony on instagram yeah her. I believe she was doing a classic the last time i check. I remember she was doing a class, so you could do her or oh, what's her name, wig spikey. Is it wigs? My key, i don't know her name but um i'll leave it in the comments. Not in the comments i'll leave you in the description bar down below, if i do remember, but i know for a fact everything ebony um from the last time that i looked at, she was doing a class on how to you know, do machine wigs. So, if you're interested in actually like learning how to do that, then go ahead and check her out or if you're able to just learn from youtube, then just use youtube and just keep practicing until you're able to get it so um so yeah. So after i've been doing that a couple of times um and i started realizing that i seen a lot of other wigs because yeah i follow a lot of like other wig makers, not a lot but like a good handful of wig makers that i do look Up to - and i realized a lot of them were not actually making their wigs. I realized a lot of them were actually getting the wigs from like you know, like you know, i don't know if it was from their vendor, but they're actually getting their wigs made and then they're like just the only thing that they have to do is when The wig does come to them, they do like you, know their signature, um customization to it. They bleach they pluck it. They style it and stuff like that, and that's the only thing they got ta worry about now. I realized that for a while, but you know i just kept doing the machine because i still did not find uh um. I still i don't know it still didn't pique my interest yet to be like. Okay, like you need to go ahead and find a um. You know trustworthy vendor to just make the wigs for you so um after a while, i started having really like annoying back pains like from my arms to this day. I still have it, but it's not as bad as it used to when i was actually just sitting there and actually making the wigs by myself. That was one thing that made me like. Okay made me a little bit more up in my step to, like you know, finding a vendor to actually make my waist. For me, that was one and the second was. I was getting a little bit more orders, which means the more orders the longer that i'm gon na have to sit on the machine and make the wigs and after a while, i'm just like yeah. This is not gon na work um. Clearly, yes, i could make it, but i do feel like it was. I kind of was getting slower because the the more the longer you sit like your back hurts. I don't know, comment down below if you are a wig maker and you do it by hand. Let me know how your back be feeling like it'd be my back, but it also really be that specific arm that i use a lot, which is my right hand. I use it for everything so, like i does the most movement, so this arm literally be feeling like it's gon na fall off. So that's really when i was just like okay, let me just figure out how i can you know switch over to having, like my fender, make my wigs now um after i um now. This is gon na, be the hard part when it comes to like. If you do want to transfer into having like custom pre-made waste from your vendor, this is going to be the hard part which is basically finding a reliable, reliable vendor that um a has good hair, but also b, can make the wig exactly how you would like It i mean that's really why i honestly love my fender, because that's exactly what she does like she listens like um. Don'T get me wrong, like um the first couple of weeks that she did for me they were a little bit iffy. I was like, but um the thing that i love about her is that anything that i have concerns about like she would literally take it, and then she would just make those alterations for me. So, whatever issues that i had, if i don't like the way she did this stitch, if i didn't like xyz whatever i didn't like um, i would just tell her and she literally would be like okay i'll, you know, make the adjustment for her, which um, what Make the adjustment for me, which i really love, because a lot of them would not do that so um it it's gon na take some time now. That'S the hard part that you really have to go into because me personally, i wanted my wigs to um. Basically seem like i made the wig still, but i'm not making them, but i wanted them to look look and just still feel, like my same type of wigs that i was creating before by hand on the machine so um. I of course told her to change the caps and stuff because i, like i personally, like the um black caps and not just for myself actually before i did like you know, tell her, which cap to use. I did ask my. You know, customers on instagram what type of caps they like better and majority of them were saying that they like the dome cap. So i was sticking to the dome caps um and also with the um and also have the little adjustable band. I she can add that for you, but i personally like putting my own custom um one on there, and i also have to put on my own, like you know, tabs and stuff like that, but overall the overall wig making process she makes all that like. I just tell her how much bundles i want in a specific way and she go ahead and, like you know, do the thing like don't get me wrong. Sometimes she'd be really tripping like when it comes to like the um densities and stuff, like that, i pay attention to that a lot i mean, i also say, even if your vendor kind of messed up the first time, if they're able to listen and actually able To like you know, they see that you know what you're talking about they're, not gon na play you, which is what it came to me like. I remember they. She gave me a wig that was very like thin and it was supposed to be like three or four bundles and me. I know my densities on my waist should know like okay. This does not feel like three bundles or do this does not feel like four bundles and stuff like that. So i always make sure that i tell her that and like after a while. I don't have like you know, trouble when it comes to her adding my exact bundles, because i know someone is probably would ask that question like how do you know she's gon na add that um the amount of bundles that you say you are and it's basically By you, knowing like feeling density to know how um, how much and just so, to put in trust in your vendor that you know they're actually doing what they're doing, but even you can trust them and they can still mess you over. But that's why. It comes back to you to make sure that you know um, you know what you're talking about you know like okay, this is not supposed to be this way. This is not supposed to be that way and just let them know so. I am grateful for my that i did find my dinner that you know she is able to. You know do that for me now um. I know someone's probably gon na ask oh, how can i find? How can i there's really no way it's gon na? Be a a trial type of thing you just got ta keep trying until you're able to find the perfect one, because you are going to go through like a lot of bad ones. I was just lucky that my hair vendor actually, like you know, i'm already built built that relationship with her to where um you know we was on that level and that i know that she wouldn't really try me and that she's actually able to like you know, Make adjustments and stuff like that for what i um actually need, and now i'm just gon na go like through, like that. I can't already explain the reason why i picked um the custom pre-made wigs, but i just wrote down a few things um, just to make sure that i did touch them um. The main reasons was it cut back like work, like literally it cut back my work like in half because to make the wigs. It actually takes me about like an hour and a half for me to sit there and make the wigs and for me to style it. It probably takes another like two hours, so that literally cut back an hour and a half of my work, which is amazing. Um, so keep that in mind, like um kudos to you, if you like, sitting down and actually making the wigs, but when you do start getting like increasingly like large amount of orders like your back, is gon na be painful and you're gon na, like your hand, Is gon na be feeling like it's gon na fall off? So keep that in mind when you are like you know, um thinking about which way to start off with you can start off with the like doing the wigs by yourself, but eventually you're gon na realize that it's gon na be kind of a little bit better To work smarter, not um harder when it comes to you know you making the wigs and stuff like that, and then the second thing is it's gon na be faster, which is definitely it's gon na be much more faster because it's cutting back um your work time And stuff like that, and it's gon na be easy on your back for sure. I keep saying your back because, like you guys, this is my main problem like when it comes to me. Making wigs is my back. My back always feels like she's about to like it just it's like a aching pain like in my back um. So i i'm gon na keep mentioning, because if you are a wig maker comment down below like, i always have issues with my back and then the last two which i kind of already went over, which is a you're able to do more. Bigger quantities faster um. Without, like you know, having to you know, sit there and actually make the waist and then lastly, which i already mentioned, is you working harder, not um, you're working, smarter, not harder, which is something that i really have to sit there and think about like. If you do plan on like trying to expand your brand and stuff like that, you you sitting there well my hair's all over the place, you sitting there and making the ways you there's it's like it does not give you time for you to focus on other Things it does not give you time for you to um, create content, which is very important. You need time to create content, so um you won't be able to have time to create content. You won't be able to like sit down and think of other ideas to like grow. Your business create more different products out to your website like by you. Cutting your work down like this is really what i'm gon na be doing. Moving forward is just working smarter, not harder like if you're trying to grow your brand like your hands, you can only do so many wigs in one day. So if you know that the amount of money you can make is pretty like capped, because it's hard for you to like you know, make so much wigs yeah, you can go ahead and like work yourself to death and like have your hand going like this, can't, Like sit there behind the chair, doing all those other things it's just gon na be harder on yourself, so you got ta, start working working and like thinking a little bit more smarter to like you know, um have other types of source of incomes and which means Like creating different products or different, like you know, tools and stuff like that to have some type of extra income minus you just sit other than you just sitting there and, like you know, making wigs and stuff like that and having your hands turn into like freaking. I don't know just stiff and stuff like that, so um yeah, but i hope that answered the you know um. Why do i choose to do pre-made wigs rather than you know me actually hand making them again. Like i said i do make them. I actually do both like um. Sometimes, if i i do have uh bring your own bundle services where the people provide the customers provide their own hair and i go ahead and actually make those wigs when it comes to those type of services, then yes, of course, i'm gon na go ahead and Actually make the wigs because they're providing the bundles and it wouldn't make sense for me to take the bundles ship it all the way to um china to my um vendor, make her make it and then ship it all the way back. That makes no sense. So um i kind of do both like i said i do both, but it does cut down the time and you guys really do need to start thinking smarter, not harder. Now i feel, like some people, i'm gon na get some questions about my vendor. You guys my video is not for sale um, but i do have sometimes okay. I open it very like sporadically throughout the month um. I only do it once a month while i try. Sometimes i don't um, but i do put my vendor like information on sale. Like probably like, once a month and there's no specific time, so if you guys do want to like um catch when i do put my vendor on sale and she be i'll, be putting it pretty sure because i'll be trying to help y'all, i really should make It more, but i'm not going to do that because, like it, is what it is but um, because i just want to help y'all out but go ahead and follow my business. Instagram is gon na be in the description bar down below so make sure you guys follow if you are interested in my um vendor. Don'T email me because i know y'all gon na email me talk about. Oh, can i get your vendor because i already get that information a lot now, but um don't be emailing me. Okay, just follow my instagram, my business instagram, the rogue collections um follow it and then i'm telling you guys, i might be doing one pretty soon so make sure you guys go ahead and follow it. So you guys can know when i do post uh um when my vendor is in sale and most of the time it's very limited. I only do like about 10 people um, because um. The main reason why i do that is because i don't want to overwhelm my vendor with like too much people coming in at once, which honestly i don't want that to disrupt. Like my um, i don't want it to disrupt. You know my stuff when i'm like placing orders and stuff like that, so i really do them in increments and stuff like that, and i also let her know like make sure that, like i'm always like yeah, i'm bringing you these um, these um new, you know Customers and stuff make sure that you, you are providing the same same service. That makes you providing the same service that you're providing me with them because don't be giving them no bs, because you don't give me bs. So i always have that conversation with her. Just to like you know, i trust her and stuff like that, but just to like make sure that she gives you guys the same amount of service well, the same service that she provides me and stuff like that. But make sure you guys go ahead and follow my instagram just so you guys can know be in the loop and stuff like that, but i hope i answered the um subscribers question that had that about why i chose to you know: do pre-made wigs but um. I hope you guys enjoyed this video um. Let me know any other questions or um video ideas. You guys want me to talk about, because i like talking about things like this, like business-wise and stuff, like that, so leave any questions that i didn't answer in this video down below or any questions that you do have about anything that i said in this video. I hope you guys like comment and subscribe well. I hope you guys like this video, please make sure you like comment, subscribe and i'll see you guys in my next one bye,

DLuxeHair: I currently create my own units on the sewing machine. I have a few vendors with great hair who provide custome made to my specifications . I'm not really busy but in the event it becomes too overwhelming I will transition. So far no back pain and I agree whrn I'm working I forget all about creating content

I used to do hair and makeup .i had to stop because it was negatively impacting my health (such as back pain, neck pain and the profits I was making had to be spent on medical treatment expenses. Your health is your wealth. Next working efficiently is crucial to make a business model scalable and sustainable.

Ashley Williams: The back pain was too much. That’s when I stopped and had my vendor make them and I just style them. The goal is to work smarter and not harder.
