Sleek Side Swoop Using A 5X5 Closure! | Ft. Tinashe Hair

What'S poppin guys welcome back to my channel, my name is lauren g. Thank you so much for clicking on this video today we're going to be doing something. I'Ve never done before. I don't think you guys are ready for it. Are you guys ready? Do you want to have this on? That means i'm about to slay. Okay, so we're gon na be doing a red wig today and you guys know what red means like red is my inner inner daddy vibes. So i have plans for this week, so i'm going to show you guys the um gifts. First and then we're going to go into the wig, i've not done anything with the waist. I'Ve not even opened it yet so yeah. So we got two packages. We got ta, get that right here: um just in a pink silk bag. Excuse my nails, y'all! This color is really cute. I love it. Then we got some makeup lashes. You guys know, tenacity, hair did not come to play. Then we got my favorite wig caps. You guys already know for you. We got a tennashi hair headband. You could tie it on your hair when you're, applying your wigs or when you're going to sleep, and this color is bomb as well super cute. Last but not least, we've got their pamphlet and it just tells you how to take care of the way you know and then, where you can find them other socials and yeah super cute. Now that we got that out the way i'm going to show you guys the wig and it's going to be my first time seeing it as well, so i'm super excited so it came in this lovely box. I love how simple their packaging is. It'S giving me like spring summer rides: you can find them on youtube, instagram, facebook, all that good stuff. We have our way so guys. I have never done a 5x5 lace before i'm pretty sure i've never ever done anything. So i'm going to be showing you guys how to finesse it, because you guys know i usually do frontal when it comes to closures. Um, i kind of have a hard time, but i'm gon na finesse it today. So i need you guys to really stay tuned for this, so this is the five by five lace front, wig, 22 inches and it's 180 density, and it's like a burgundy brainy red color. So let me turn up this light. A little bit more look at how bomb these body wave curls are like this is first sight, i've not even opened it. This is my first time seeing it as well, and this is amazing. Yes, this is five by five told you guys. I'Ve never done this before the construction is quite unique. I love that. Let'S see what we got inside, we have three combs two on the side, one at the bottom and adjustable straps and yeah the 5x5 lace um yeah. So what i've decided? I'M going to be doing is, i think, i'm going to apply the wig like on one side of my head, like this, you know, put the lace on this side and we're going to do a side part. So now that i am done applying the wig, i'm going to part the hair into like a side wire um. I laid this face down: okay, scalp, so we're just gon na decide where we wan na party okay. So i also like to part exactly how much of the hair i'm going to be like sweeping, so this is a good amount and the rest of the hair we're just going to hold it back. Okay, this style, i'm gon na admit, is not one for beginners um, it's quite hard and it's gon na take a lot of patience. So you guys are gon na watch me mess up a few times and then come back around. So what i'm gon na give you as tips, though, is this comb you'll see me using helps okay or you might want to use one of those bristle brushes that might help as well, but i love using the comb. It just gives me full control and everything - and i also love going in with my got - to be free spraying. This is what gives me that shine and sleek and just holds the hair together. So, as you guys can see, i'm going to be using the comb. I'M going to be brushing it and i'm also going to be using the back to kind of like sleek the hair together, so it could all stick together. So just keep watching the technique, i'm using um. I had later on just realized. Why didn't i just clip the hair first before i started doing this lauren, so i went in with a bobby pin and i just put some back there and then went back to doing what i was doing with the free spray and the comb. So just keep watching the technique. If you want to sweep the hair in the direction you want, it use the front part of the comb. Then, if you want the hair to stick together - and you know just clump and look sleek, all together use the back of the comb and then, if you want to push the hair somewhere in some direction, you use the like. I don't know the end of the comb just keep watching what i'm doing. Okay, now that we're done we're just going to blow dry the hair with some hot air just to hold it in place, and just let it stick on your skin. This will ensure that the hair lasts like days. If you wanted to now we're going to go in and do our baby hairs. She said she wanted i've kind of been studying the style for a while, and i've realized that if you want the part to look sharp and just neat, you need to go in with some makeup. So i'm going to be using my maybelline foundation and this random brush. I have, and you know just deepen that part so now we're going to go and style the top of the head, because we can't just have that one part looking sleek and shiny and the rest is just you know basic, so we're gon na go in with Some mousse and freeze spray again and then we're gon na use our hot comb sleek it all down yeah. At this point, i was already forgetting that the hair is five by five. Like look at how sleek this hair is yo. I did that. Okay, so now we're gon na go in and do some curls, because i was really loving the body wave curls. I was like yeah. Let'S just do some curls and see how this look. I'Ve never actually seen somebody do curls with the soap before so it's the first time for everything, i'm only going to do half the head with you guys just to save time, so you guys see my technique. You already know what i do when it comes to this curling stuff. It'S just so easy, just watch what i'm doing, and i hope it makes sense, y'all, i'm sorry and yeah. I'M loving this soup y'all do y'all, see that shine. Do y'all, see that shine. It took a long way, but we got there okay. So this is the finished, look um. I just want to get on here and show you guys. I don't know if i should like brush out the curls and get some bigger curls, but i'm loving this look. You could pull it to the side like this. What i'm loving y'all already know, i'm the queen of brushing hair out, so i definitely went in and did just that and then y'all gon na see the finished look and one two three boom.
