You Don'T Need Hd Lace| How To Melt Transparent Lace Wig

Hey everyone, it's rochelle and welcome back to my channel, so i'm back with another video for you guys and in today's video i'm going to show you guys how i melt this lace. Wig down this wig is transparent lace, so it is not hd lacey guys and hd lace melts flawlessly, but you can also get a flawless melt with transparent lace as well. So i'm going to show you guys some tips and tricks to do so. If you want to see how i got it, then please keep on watching now. This wig is a pre-colored pre-made wig and it is from allie pearl. I will link all the info in the description bar down below now. This is how the wig looks fresh out. The box, when you applied she does need some work. As you can see, the texture is body wave. I, like the ginger shade, but, as you can see from this, hairline is not the most realistic and most natural hairline and the lace is super light for my skin. It'S very light for my skin. So the first thing i'm going to do is i'm going to put it on my mannequin head and go in with my hot comb, because i need to tweeze the hairline, because this hairline is very very bulky. Now i will say that you do not need to bleach the knots on this wig because the wig is already bleached. It is pre bleach knots, so yay. We ain't got to do all that. So i like to tweeze it from behind the hairline and i have a white towel. So that way you guys can see exactly what i'm doing. Just remember that when you are tweezing your wigs don't go over the same spot over and over, because that's how you're going to create bald spots so do behind the hairline. And then, if the hair is really bulky in the front, you might want to take some out of the front as well. So i'm going to go in with the hot comb just to see how it looks. It looks really good. I like it. So, let's move on, i have my wig cap on already. I did the ball cap method and i do have very detailed videos on how i do my ball cap. So i'm gon na try this wig on just to see how it is looking to see. If i'm feeling the hairline and right now, i'm just looking at it and i like it so far, i can work with this. Like i said, this wig actually had a very, very thick hairline, but i don't want to take out too much of the hair either, because if i take out too much of the hair, what's gon na happen is that the wig can end up having bald spots Later on - and it won't last as long so if you want your wigs to last long, do not over twist them, so i'm gon na go in with some foundation, so i use a foundation that is the same foundation that i use on my skin. I'M going to apply to my lace reason why we're doing this is because the lace is white, it is transparent and i need it to blend in and melt onto my skin and look flawless and also use a lace tint. But i personally prefer to use foundation, and i like, using either cream foundation or liquid, do not use a crazy amount of foundation, use a thin, thin layer of foundation. So now i'm gon na go in with my scissors and just cut the areas that i wan na. I'M gon na cut off the excess lace. So i start off behind the air, and i cut small sections into my lace, because it's just gon na make it so much easier for me to apply i'm gon na go in with the bow hole skin protector. I'M gon na apply to the forehead area. I'Ve already removed the makeup from my forehead, so when you're applying wigs guys, it is best to apply it with absolutely no product on your forehead, no makeup. Okay, i should have done this without the makeup, but i already have makeup on and i'm gon na go in with my bold hold glue and i'm using a thin layer of glue. I always use two layers you can use more depending on how long you plan on wearing your wig, i'm not planning on wearing it for very long, so apply two layers. You want to wait until the glue dries clear and it's going to be nice and tacky and then you're going to pull down that lace and melt it into your wig and go in with your blow dryer on a cool setting. So i'm taking my rat tail comb and i'm just pressing it. It'S basically the same thing that when you apply a hd lace, the only thing with the hd lace, it's very, very, very thin, so it melts flawlessly into the skin. However, he laces can be a bit more on the pricey side, so i'm going to go in my small scissors and my eyebrow razor and just cut it as close to the hairline cut off all that excess lace. I mean: are you guys seeing that lace? Like look at the lace, she is already melted and i haven't even done anything to it as yet, when it comes to lace, wigs, you guys, i do have my preference. I prefer using hd lace because they are so easy to work with and you can tint them to match everyone's skin tone. It works on every skin tone as for transparent they're, a little bit trickier to work with, and i find that some transparent melt better than some. This one was actually a pretty good one and obviously doing the foundation on it, helps to make it look more natural. So i was here for it, but i have worked with transparent lace before where it, just even when i tinted to match my skin, you can still see the white on it, but this one was a pretty good one. I'M just repeating the same steps like i did on the forehead area, so i apply the glue, wait for it to dry, clear and then i'm going to pull it down and apply my wig and melt it down with a rat tail comb and my blow dryer On a cool set in, and i'm just going to go in with my scissors and just cut off all that excess lace, because i don't need that anymore and you guys this hairline is actually looking really good. I'M impressed very impressed, considering that this is transparent lace and not hd like she is given what she's supposed to be given like what lace. I don't see her okay, the wig is on just doing a pull check, she's on she's, secure, she's, not going anywhere, and i'm going to repeat the same steps on the other side as well. So i'm just going to speed this part up because it's very repetitive, i'm doing the same thing over and over, and you guys already seen this all right. So i'm going to move on to parting the hair, so you can do a middle part or a side. Part, it's a versatile wig and you can do a half a path down. The only thing is that you can't really wear any ponytail. If you want to because the back is not lace, it is a lace front wig. So i go in with a hair wax. Just to flatten it down, you guys always ask me about the hair wax that i use and the hair wax that i actually use is from another wig company. I'Ve gotten it in a one of my wig boxes, but you can get hair wax on amazon. You can get them at sally's, it doesn't matter they pretty much all work the same, so i'm just going to apply this just to help flatten out my wig. I used to use mainly mousse before, but i just find that the hair wax works so much better. Hot comb is a must, it will have your wig looking nice and flat. We don't want it to be all bulky and look like it's a hat sitting on your head. Okay, we want this wig to be nice flat and laid, i like to add some volume to the side, so i go in with the hair wax and the hot comb as well. You guys always ask me: how do i do the volume at the side, but that's how i do it. I use my hot comb, so you can add a little baby hair. You can add a lot it's up to you. Do you. I personally have a preference of not doing too much baby hair because i don't think it really suits me or i'll. Add it to the side, but not on the forehead, because i don't really like baby hair on my forehead, like even when i wear my natural hair, i don't i don't like that. Look i just don't think it suits me. So i'm going to go in with my got to be spray and i'm gon na grab my little raggedy toothbrush and create some little side, uh baby hairs, even without the baby hair. I think the wig laid like it looked really good. The lace looked really really good and i just added some hair moves to the front of the hair and to the side. This is really going to help the wig to melt down flawlessly into the skin. So i go in with my pantyhose. I always use a pantyhose. You can use this hair scarf as well, and i tie it down for like 15 minutes. You guys - and this is pretty much how the wig looks now - that she's melted and i'm gon na go in with my babe, let's flat iron and straighten the hair, because i was a little lazy, i didn't want to curl it and i kind of stuck it. Curling but yeah, i'm just gon na straighten the hair out and this hair is pretty long like. I think it's about a 26 inch, but it looks like a 30 on me. I'M not super tall, so 26 inches looks really long in me. So yeah, i'm just gon na fix up the part, and this is how she is looking ginger, i'm here for it.
