How to make a wig on a sewing machine

What'S up guys, this is the so important of my series that I'm working on on so we're going to be creating the custom League and we've already did the custom color. So if you're watching this video, that means you're about to watch me construct the unit. So first things we're going to do is talk about the things that you need. If you want to create a custom wig using a machine first things. First, you need a sewing machine. One of your preference. I use two different kinds, but this is the one I'll be using, which is a singer for today's demonstrative purposes. You also need a wig block. You will need multiple, a box if you're going to be serious about being a lead designer, because your clients will have different headshot, head sizes and head shape. This is the wig cap you're going to be needing to construct a wig. The way that I construct them, this is going to be a lightweight fit lightweight, feel, is going to fit snug and you'll be able to put your fingers through the wig unit. Okay, you're asking me the mannequin stand that way. You can measure the wig as you're going and that way you making sure your skin on track and not you know changing the size or the size of the wig. As you sew, you also need a permanent marker. That'S going to be used to create your outline before you lay each track, your go-to place exactly where you want it to go and then you're going to follow it. So it's almost like you know a little a little outline to help keep you on track. So you need a permanent marker. You need thread a sewing needle a comb, Beauty, pins pair scissors measuring tape and, of course, you would need the hair and the lace closure that you're using okay, okay, once you've secured the lace closure and pinned it down, you're going to begin to so you've already Braided, the hair you've placed out of your way and you secure it in place and everything is laying flat and seamless, now you're going to sew around this perimeter and then we'll pick back up and we'll go they're you. So that's going to be our first unit. Okay, excuse me our first okay, alright guys. So here we are, we have the completed. Look. I finished the unit the same day that I was filming. However, I wasn't able to pick that up filming until today, so yeah we're gon na just pick up where we left off. We were sewing, and I completed it that day and this is the end results. So if you are interested in the class you can email me or contact me all that information will be below. This is just a showcase. What I can do and my skill set so yeah. This is the custom unit and my client will be wearing this unit. So in this series, I'm going to show you how to construct the unit different bits and pieces of pieces of how I construct it, and I also show you how I color the unit. Now. As you see, the lace closure has not been colored, I'm going to do that next, because I want that to be a part of the series. However, I want it to color the lace closure, while it was still on the wig canvas. So I can see exactly how it's going to play out and excuse me, so I can see exactly how it's going to lay and I have more control of the actual outcome of the color. So, that's why I wanted to wait to put it on the wig block, so I can see exactly how it feel and how it melts into the color - and this is the middle part unit and we're gon na zoom in and get up close. This is our tribal straight. Are straight yaki, hair with the lace closure. We have not cut the net material from underneath but yeah. This is what she looks like up. Close and personal
