Lets Install This Wig Over Locs

Uh, hey y'all, welcome back to my channel y'all saw the title we finna get right into this video. The unit that we'll be working with today is a 34 inch custom made unit for my collection, the best hair. Oh so right here you see me braiding my client back, i'm probably doing about five or six braids and i am braiding underhand, so it can get that flat. Look when i add the cap and the uni and when i get to the end, i'm going to add a rubber band to each end of the braid and then you just repeat those steps until you get to the end. Oh is break it down. So me is, is you i know i'm so busy? It'S true. I know what to do now. We added all our braids and rubber bands are all the ends. So you see me fooling around with the braids a little bit trying to see which pattern i want to put them, so i can lay them down flat and sew them all together to her head, and you all see in the step. How i do that me me now it's time to add that ball cap and add the blue around the edges. I don't use it and got to be. I feel like there is a super mess. I like to add a thin layer of glue right across her hairline. You see me using my fingers because it gives that kind of like that smooth look that i like to go for. Sometimes after we cut along the edges of that cap, i like using ruby kisses for the foundation to blend all the caps and put that on the lace as well. As you will see here, i use a sponge brush and i just take a little bit and i dab it along the edges and then clean that up after me, okay y'all. So we added that makeup on the cap and on the lace and we cleaned it up with 99 alcohol across the hairline. Now, it's time to add the glue. The glue that i'll be using today is lace, grip and it's their active collection and we're going to take that glue and we're going to put a little bit. Y'All. I'M telling y'all a little bit of glue across the edge of that cap and i take a popsicle stick of choice and you refuse anything. You want the edge of a comb whatever and you just spread that in very thin across the hairline three times. Let the glue dry completely clear before adding your next coat less talking more action. So i just applied my third layer and i'm letting it dry right now and then i'm gon na pull the lace down right across where the edge of the glue is. I match it with the edge of the hairline of the wig and i have her hold the sole down each side and i take my blow dryer on medium heat and i go across the hairline for probably about two minutes and then in the end, i apply Elastic band across the hairline - and i like to let it sit for probably about 10 to 15 minutes before i go in and cut the lace, no distraction i'll give you the green light skip to the scene, freaky things. No, nobody got me feeling anticipation, yeah yeah, you're number one and i don't wan na say the things we gon na do just wan na show you ready for fun baby girl. I know you're ready brown just disclaimer. I like to sew all my wigs down in the back, because why we want all our wigs secure over here honey. We want the wind blow. We want that shirt to look like it's coming from our scalp as well. So what secure that shape in the back is forgive me: oh, is uh alone, so it's been about 10 or 15 minutes now, and i'm going to remove that elastic band from the back i'ma try to remove it from the back okay there. It goes so we're gon na remove it from the back, and then i like to go with my sheer scissors right across the edge of that hairline and i zigzag cut everything. Sorry i'm blocking, but i zigzag cut it going all the way down. Don'T do a straight line, you zigzag cut it. As you see me, moving my wrists and don't mind those little edges. Sometimes that happens just go back in with a little glue on the edge by the ear and add it there and take your blow dryer and put it back on there. Oh east coast these days, oh now, it's time for the best part and that is pardon out those baby hairs and getting more prep to be laid down. So you see me parting them out from the front and then i'm going to go with my hot comb and hot comb, the back and also hot comb, those baby hairs forward. But let's take a second and get into this lace, though guys like it's, not even hd, but it is laying so flawlessly like where do y'all see that distance? I so i'm low-key, if tell me so, for a natural style like this, i normally like using gorilla. Snot to lay the edges down, but i ran out so for a backup i use got to be gel, so i take my edge brush and the brush, and i just take my soup super the brush and my finger, and i just slightly sweep the edges up And just swoop them up in there and also use like the back of the brush and blend it in with the hair as well. If that kind of makes sense, i can't even take my mind after we lay our edges. I go back in with that band. Again, yes, guys, this band will be your best friend with securing your lace or your edges. When you sleep you ain't doing nothing, take a shower. Workout wear your band. I definitely tell all my clients this. I give them them when they come to me every time and they definitely tell me the band helps so yes, where your band, so we gon na put that on for another three to five minutes and then we removed the best flawless oh get into it.
