Hey youtube, so i know i haven't been here in a while, but your girl is back with another video. You know the vibe. So today i have a wig from the company lar holly hair. I think y'all. This wig been in my closet since i got it like a couple months ago and i'm like i always want to do a bob install. Let me just do a bob, so i'm showing you guys how i ended up bleaching this wig. Yes, i now bleach my wigs. I know it's a huge step for me. I think i was gon na learn how to do it either, but i did it really does look like scalp. It really does so. This is just me, mixing the bleach and what it looks like after now. I was scared, since it was my first time i only left the bleach on for like 20 minutes and the ones in the front got bleached the ones in the back did not. So i'm gon na just show you guys what the hair looks when i put it on the mannequin, see it doesn't look bad or anything. It'S still getting my scalp still giving a girl something cause. Remember i don't usually beat but yeah. This is a 5x5 closure. Wig, they probably gon na wonder what the heck i'm doing to this wig y'all the weight ain't messed up, i just washed and blow-dried it that's it. I figured that this would be the perfect way to turn into a bob, because this wig is 16 inches and it's 150 density. So when i cut it, it was a lot more. You guys see the parting space. It'S deep! You see the knots that got bleach. You see the ones that did not give you guys cap construction and now we're about to put some foundation on our lace to try and make it look like scalp, like i'm, really beating the foundation into this lace, and i'm gon na keep doing that. My double chin is going to be making at least 20 guest appearances in this video. So, every time i turn to the side, you're going to see it right now, i'm just holding the wig up to make sure you guys see how it looks with foundation on it and i'm putting it on my hand. So you know, like this looks like scalp. I'M not joking. Now, here's where things got messed up, the wig wasn't brushed out. It was a little bit like all over the place and when i put it on my head, i i don't know i would lose faith in me too at this moment, but i'm gon na tell y'all, don't don't lose faith right now, um i had a eyelash In my eye, don't lose faith right now, it's gon na come together. I promise now. I know this is not the most flattering angle, but it's gon na get better. The wig looks a little bit humpy just because of how much i was playing with it, but i promise he was going to be fixed. That'S the type of wig my dia would wear yeah. I look absolutely crazy. I'M not going to hold you. My edge brush looks nasty, but if you know you know, if your edge brush doesn't have a whole bunch of gunk on it, it just doesn't work the same. I don't know how to explain it and right now, i'm just taking my she is bomb wax stick y'all i ran out of my even wax. Stick, i'm sorry! A whole bunch of my hair got stuck to my lip gloss, but i ran out of my even wax stick. I tried this one i actually like it. I mean i do like the little size that the even one comes in, and i wish this one. You could like put it back into the product display, whatever it is, put it back into the product dispenser pretty easily, because you have to push it down, but otherwise it melts pretty good right here. You just see me taking my wand and combing through my hair, trying to get that hairline as flat as possible, because right now i don't know what i'm looking like. But it's not good, and i know you guys are going to come with the comments kiana. You need a hot comb. You keep burning yourself with the wand. I did have a hot comb. I did you wonder what happened to my hot comb, the cord on it broke. Okay, let me give you all the story time the cord on it broke and i plugged it in the wall. I didn't realize i plugged it in, and i gave my entire suite my entire. My entire college suite a power outage so yeah they had to come fix it like the entire room, was out of power. It was like sparks. It was crazy all because of that one little cord. So now we no longer have a hot comb, but, as you can see here, i'm just making sure the hair is okay, the wand works fine. It just takes a whole bunch of extra effort, but i did order a new hot cone. So don't do me so right now. You just see me double checking with my wand in the mirror, because you'll think the front of your hair looks good and then the backy hair looks crazy. So i went over it again because there was still a hump at the back and then this is what the wig is looking like right now, i still got ta fix it up faces that i make when i'm recording are actually crazy. I don't know how, but my eyes are always open and you can see me really pressing the wand into my hair, i'm using the comb to try and basically mimic what the hot comb does. You know combing it and having heat on it. At the same time, it's not really doing what i want it to, but that's fine kiana burns herself in three two. Oh my count was wrong. Yeah i burnt myself again because i haven't used the wand in a while. The reason why i'm using the mousse in the wand is because the wax stick that one just works better with the hot comb like the hot comb, gets through all the wax and it lays it down. The mousse, however, works better with the wand. I feel like that's what gives me that flat look, but i need my hot comb back right now. I'M just prepping the lace to make sure that when i cut it, none of the hair is at the front and everything is all good. I got my notorious pink scissors that you all see in every video. I went off camera to cut this because for some reason the hair just kept going to my face. So i cut one side. I messed up cutting this side, my scissors slipped and i cut it in a straight line. You could just tell i was disappointed. I cut it in a straight line, but after i cut it, that line was showing because i did cut it straight see. This is why you don't cut your closure in a straight line. Never do it always zigzag, so i'm just trying to fix it a little bit by fraying the edge a little bit, putting some eyeshadow on it trying to make it look a little bit more presentable, but it is giving scalp. I'M not gon na lie. Okay, so right now i'm taking a baby wipe and i'm just wiping off any makeup that is on my forehead. I did get a little bit on my forehead this time, but yeah and today guys i'm gon na be using glue to do this. Install you heard me right glue. I am using the bold hold glue. That'S the only lace glue i use when i do use glue. I don't use glue on any of my frontals just my closures and since this is a 5x5 closure - and i want it to get frontal, i'm going to use some glue. So i'm just doing a thin layer and then i'm going to spread that out with my rat tail comb and position, my hairline, where i want it to be so after the glue dried, i let it get a little bit tacky and then what i did was. I moved the hairline up a little bit while it was still tacky to make sure everything was proper. Then i set it with an elastic band. I didn't feel like i had to show the elastic band process on camera. You know leave it on five to ten minutes to do whatever. So this is just a clip of me taking it off. I tied it really tight, so it was a little bit difficult to get off this time, but, as you can see, the hair was melted once i did it so now, i'm just spraying some heat protectant on and we're going to start getting ready to flat iron. Our hair, i don't like my hair to be frizzy after i flat iron it. What i'm doing is i'm just taking my first buster serum and i'm rubbing that all over the hair right before i start flat ironing, because for me personally, that just works best with my heat protectant. I didn't really have much motive on like getting the ends of it. The reason why is because i was going to cut it into a bob anyways, it's a 16 inch straight wig. Now with me, i, like my straight wigs to be extremely long and i felt like i haven't. I haven't had a bob in a while. I did a bob on this channel, but i haven't had like a blunt cut bob really, so i'm just doing that making sure that i flat iron at least the top part after where i cut i'm not too focused on that part. Gon na give y'all a little warning, i'm terrible terrible at cutting hair. So this me just put my hand to see if you know what i'm doing is actually gon na. Look good. Making sure that all the hair from the top down to where i want to cut is straight because if i cut it and it's wavy and then i flat iron it it's going to be longer than the other pieces. So right now, i'm just brushing it trying to find a technique on how to cut it. Yo i haven't cut hair in so long. I'M not good at cutting hair. I know absolutely nothing about cutting hair. I just cut the hair, i don't know, i don't really know what to tell y'all after this, my ring light got plugged out. So now the lighting looks different. If you see my lace, don't mind it. It'S really just the lighting, because light is not white. Instead of warm, i really did just start cutting. I had no plans. I had no goals, i just started cutting. As you can see. I missed a whole chunk because i don't know what i'm doing i'm gon na clean it up. It'S gon na look nice cleaned up, but right now i'm just trying to chop everything off and it took me so long to try and find that end because i was looking into the phone instead of looking into the actual camera but yeah. So after i brushed everything out, i realized there was a section that i missed. This is just a repeated replay of failed attempts of me trying to cut this piece like i don't know why it was so difficult for me. I think i need to get like cutting shears or something that actually is meant to cut things, so i just pulled it down and then cut it off and now you know i'm getting ready to start bumping the ends. Seeing that it looks good, i didn't expect it to look good. I promise you, i'm just keep the ends bumped. I need to take like a cutting class or something, but when i bump the ends, this wig gave very much lord farquaad. It gave what it was supposed to give and i don't mean in a bad way, because yeah lord farquaad is ugly, but like this, this big cave as y'all can see. That side looks absolutely perfect. It gives very much sweetheart and now i'm just getting ready to do the same thing to the other side. I put the same products in it and now i'm just going to flat iron it, and hopefully it turns out like that last side notice that that little hump at the back kept on popping up. I think i really just needed to put my wand on it. For a long time that finally fixed the problem, so now i'm making sure the flat iron the back as well, because i i really do struggle with cutting and here's the big moment of truth. This one i just went all in for it. The last one. I was being a little scaredy cat, but i just took the hair in my hand and cut it, and i estimated it. It ended up. Looking proper, you see the dead hair right there and now i'm just gon na bump it i'm not even making no corrections. No nothing, i just went straight forward and it ended up turning out properly. So after i was finished, cutting the hair and bumping it. I just went in again with my wax stick at the front to make sure the front of my hair looked good, because i needed to make sure the front of it was laid, and i need to make sure that back part would not lift up again. So now i'm really taking my wand and i'm pressing it in because, like i told y'all, the wax stick doesn't work as good with the wand, but it took a little bit of extra effort, but i finally figured it out and i'm just going to do the Same thing to the other side, making sure it's fully flat pressing it in like really pressing in you see all that heat coming up and yeah. That'S pretty much about it all right! So i'm not going to sit up here and lie to y'all. I wasn't feeling it at first, but i still don't know if i'm feeling it is the bob bobby. I don't know the ends are choppy i'll admit, because i can't cut anything and i don't know how to cut that's. Okay, um this hair is nice. I forgot what i look like with short hair for a minute hold on hold on giving the girls everything it's supposed to give okay, but no fro. I really do like this hair. Look at me messing it up already. Let me turn the brightness up so yeah. Oh, no, no, okay! So yeah really do like this hair. This little line does not show in person. It only shows on camera yeah. It gave the girls what it's supposed to give it's, giving very much pretty items like pretty girl vibes all right. Y'All i've been posting on all my stories: instagram snapchat facebook just been posting um, the install is so pretty it's getting pretty girl vibes, like you, see the lights, but yeah just give them a pretty girl.
