1: Rit : Synthetic Dye in: Violet Purple https://amzn.to/2NZiyBe
2: Bottle of Rubbing Alcohol - I got from $1 or Amazon Link: https://amzn.to/2LxEuSt
3: Zip Lock Bag, better with Zipper
4: Gloves (Optional) - I didn't use ☺️
-Mix Full Bottle of Rubbing Alcohol with 3 cap fulls of Rit Dye, swirl.
-Add your wig to mixture. Seal Bag with air to easily coat all the strands.
-Take air out of bag to saturate fully.
-Let Sit for 15mins.-Rinse out with cold water. Rinse until you do not see purple any more.
-Wrap in towel to dry.
-Air dry for about 1hr...and...YOU ARE READY!!

Hey everyone, its Miz Carly. Thank you for coming back to watch another amazing video that I have for you so today I am so excited, as this is my very first time ever toning, a wig, yeah and, of course, don't forget the mid subscribe button down here. As well as little bow sorry you weren't notified when I upload videos every single week. This is a video that I have been so excited to make and anisette cannot believe it has taken me this long to actually do this. So a lot of blonde wigs come in the tone of 6 13, which means they are just a little. Definitely that yellow blonde, as you can see right here, so this is a wig that I absolutely love. I love this style, it's kind of vintage II. It is the Zuri Nia that I did right here and it is a gorgeous wig, but what holds me back from wearing it on is that it's just a little yellow. So it's an easy correction that we're gon na be doing, and all you need to tone up. This wig is right here we have red synthetic dye right here and it is the color of royal purple and then you will need one a bottle of a rubbing alcohol and I got this from the dollar store and then you will also need one Ziploc baggie, Preferably with the zipper and then, of course, a pair gloves, if you do wish, I think I'm gon na networ the gloves cuz I like to live on the edge. So, let's just get going with this video, I'm gon na dump the entire bottle of rubbing alcohol. In the ziploc bag, and then next is the star of the event. Of course, the RIC die you're going to take three capfuls of this and just swish it around, and so it's all kind of mixed in and then you're gon na roll up your little Goldilocks right there and then close it with some air which is really easy To kind of like make sure that the purple gets all in the hair and then I release all the air and I'm really making sure that it gets every nook cranny. And then you don't let it sit for 15 minutes. Fifteen minutes you're just gon na. Of course, take it to the sink with cold water and just rinse. This girl out really really easy. Just make sure all the purple is out like pretty easy, really can't lose here and then of course drying it, and then I just kind of wrapped in a towel just to make it faster. And then I put her on a head and she literally dry for about one hour outside here. She is beautifully ashed out so exciting that this was such an easy process. I can almost kick myself for waiting so long to do this process so with this process like since it's so easy, definitely do not let a 613 or if a wig is little to warm, deter you. So it may just be a couple steps away from being the color and tone that you desire. So let me know if you tone any of your wigs. I would seriously love to see them so reach out to me on instagram. Lauren Krist: Glad to know that toning is possible with synthetic hair. I change my own blond tone often and wear extensions so I'm always buying new ones to match my own hair. This is so helpful. Btw, your own hair is really pretty and looks healthy for platinum. Plus you killed the eye makeup

Kristin Dougherty: Just did 4 wigs with this method. 3 were synthetic and one human hair. The synthetic ones turned out beautifully... but the human hair one is purple and hair elastic now Thought hopefully I could help someone else avoid this mistake!

Dede Vaughn: Synthetic hair dyes a lot quicker than real hair, just FYI. I've got a little portable washing machine I used when my washer croaked. I use it to store stuff in now because I don't wanna get rid of it. I don't store anything in the "dryer" side. I put my wigs in there after washing. It's just a small spin cycle compartment. It holds about 1/3 of your wash load. I spin them out and they're half dry when I hang them to dry! I got these huge circle hangers at Dollar Tree. They're wrapped in nylon or some such fabric. I can slip 3 or 4 wigs on it through their tags and hang it to dry. On a nice warm and windy day I'll hang them on a tree branch and they will be dry in 15 or so mins. Depending on length and fullness. Be sure they're in the shade if you do this. That's why I use a branch on a tree. Theyre deep in the shade!

Also, I badly need a good wig brush bc the brushes I have are just w ripping out hair's and causing the wig to get even more notted than before I began brushing, do u have any wig brush suggestions?!
