I'M one Jade's fancier bring you yet another video okay, so you guys were my group Hall wig video, well, consider this the sequel, we're doing a part. Two, I'm gon na style, the lavender wig from the RuPaul Party City collection. Consider this the room X. Also, I don't you something a little bit different as well in this video. That'S right, we're just full of surprises. I'M gon na take off my eyelashes, I'm wearing currently and try on the RuPaul Party City eyelashes, so I figured since I'm wearing sequins. Why not try on the eyelashes that have diamonds on them rhinestones to be exact so far, so wonderful, it's a nice little thick plastic container, and once you take this out, you can use the sixth or your eyelashes and that's very handy. I love that solid. It'S not like those party-store ones where, like it breaks the second, you had it. I might be doing some stacking here, because this is not gon na be enough. For my eye, these ones look even bigger. These are some 300 ones. Look at those love that okay, let's do some stacking with dr. - our eyelashes supposedly be our self adhesive, but I don't trust that alright, I got them all stacked up. I'M gon na put these on off the camera, I'll be right back and poof. We are back, these are the RuPaul eyelashes all stacked up, it's the three, oh ones, with the little rhinestone eyelashes as well. They are very, very drag. I actually really love them. The like lash band on them was really really dense and thick. They are $ 15. Each works for a lot of queens could be a deal-breaker, but again I like the one it has RuPaul on so you're paying for the novelty all right now. For the main event, we are going to start styling, RuPaul's lavender wig. Now I showed you what those look like on the wig head in my last video I'll link that down below, because I can always use more views on that video and it's already pre opened because I opened it there. So let's pull her back out. Oh yeah she's, just as good as I remember it now I got what have the nicer ones. I'Ve seen other girls unbox these. I don't know what happened in the transference from the store to their hands, but it was, you know interesting, so we're gon na put this on now. This wig is really shiny. I don't know if dry shampoos gon na help her but we're gon na try. Alright. Alright know the quality on this hair is a little suspect. It'S not the same as the one before just it feels a little bit more costume. That might be the fact, because it's you know a brighter color and sometimes in the factory. Those tend to be a little more cheaper feeling. You know they process this fiber, so much that to get it that color what dies and everything so who knows let's brush through it, could just be the hairspray that's coated on it as well, so we're gon na brush through it, okay, yeah. There we go once I start brushing it through it's starting to get more of a wig texture back. It was definitely the hairspray that was doing that I was worried, was gon na have like that really cheap, like party store, hair feeling, but once you start dragging a brush through it, it starts to look a bit more like a wig. Now this one, I probably want to tease that much because look at we pull this down. Look at all of this teasing inside of here. This is a giant bubble of teasing. I already have to work with like they already did so much work for me. So what I'm going to do now is just work with it, so I'm gon na take other pieces of hair, try and scrub as much as that hair spray out of it and start teasing it and work it in with the other ball of hair girl. At this rate, RuPaul just hired me to be on this team for party, say: okay, looking at this one, the wefts are not as known, whereas the blonde one was. There are a lot more space. The part, if you can see that I don't know but yeah, there's not as much hair in this one, but we're gon na make it work. Like I always say, very few wigs are hopeless. You know it's either a Disney fairy tale or a Grimm's brothers fairy tale it's up to you now, I'm just gon na cheese all over this wig, okay and I'm going to the rest, off-camera I'll, be right back. Alright, we are back. I had the wig all teased out and I have the wig line started on it as well from choosing it and if you hear some wrinkling tingling in the background, that's my dog eating he's got to eat and I'm not gon na make him stop. Just for you folks, sorry about it. Alright, like I said I had the wig line started, I realize in the last video that was a touch too bright, so I covered the wig head in the process of you know doing other things to make it sanitary. So it's darker now so when I start doing the wig line, you will be able to see it a lot better than on that bright. You know, white canvas head so here we go start a wig line. One way holding it back other way, going back edge of the brush one way edge of the brush going that way and holding it and we got a good line going. You got going lots of hairspray. Alright, we got a good wig line going. There'S just a lot of that teasing, hairspray and heat and, like I said before, if you did it right, when you start brushing this section right here, this shouldn't go anywhere like it shouldn't disturb this portion here. This should stay stead because he's built up lots of teasing, hairspray and basically cook the hair in that position. Alright, I have this section started. I'M gon na do the rest of this off-camera and I'll be right back again. Alright, you guys, I have the hairline almost completed like I said it's just a long time, it's teasing back and forth and you get it clearly. I am going one way and then the other way against the teasing that we like matted down here, so you Matt it down and then brush it one way brush it the other way and when you're brushing it the other way you hold it down like that And you're, basically just making it split, so it creates sort of like a flattened surface. That'S gon na create the illusion hairline and that's how you get these hard front, wigs to have a more believable hairline like this. The way you had to do it and once you're close to finish we're gon na make sure we keep it still. You some pump it up goal and be careful when you do this next part when you have it sprayed with your glue spray use the low setting. You don't want to do the high setting because it could burn the hair and you get like crispy critter here. I did it a little bit here and you can see it. The hair is kind of rippled. You don't want that. You want to be nice and smooth. As you see for me, going back and forth, the hair is still a huge volume also because that giant bump that was in the wig to begin with, like you see the back of it, the bump is still there it's just now. This hair it matches it and it's gon na stay there. Alright, now that I have the hairline just the way, I want it. We'Re gon na ignore that for now and we're gon na start styling the rest of the way. Now, just looking at this, it's very like Dame Edna Everage kind of territory, so I'm thinking something along the lines of like a flip or a French twist on the box. She has a French twist we're gon na try and get as close as we can to that, like an elevated version of the one on the box, where our Queens actually wearing it. This way, I don't believe it so if memory serves doing a whole lot of this flip over action. So that's what we're gon na do we're gon na whip this hair around I'm gon na try our hardest to get this to look like what they expect it to look like alright, see you so far, so good it to create like a huge hair bubble. Looking nice and smooth now, my only gripe about this wig is: there was a serious lack of tracks and also there's not a whole lot of like curl to it. So I'm not exactly sure what direction I can go with it to like. You know get a good final result. I may have to curl the ends which is gon na, be a fun challenge. Alright, as you can see, I'm trying to twist it into the back to a French twist and I'm going to pin that now we're just gon na try and get some kind of semblance of sense here and make sure this wickhead stay still. Alright, we're gon na start at the bottom, get a long track or jack bobby pin. Maybe you can see that all the way down here I have it pinned all the way at the nape and we're gon na do them going up, and what this is also going to do is that it's gon na push all the volume up all the teasing. It'S gon na meet up here where it's kind of lacking, like it's all, bunched up here in the front and there's a big gap of space here. So if you wanted to be really creative, you could put another wig right there and get it even bigger. Alright, I'm just smoothing out this section here using the edge of the brush. Oh, I think I know what I'm gon na do with this. Okay, look at that! Wouldn'T that be cute. Let'S do something like that. Okay, I got it. It took me a minute, but I got it all right. I love it when you get that sudden, just like burst of inspiration. Well, the best part about styling, hair and all I'm doing is I'm putting my palm and just gliding that brush through it and then use my fingers to mull it and they'll create like a nice little height there that we're gon na hairspray the crap out of You can even use like loose bobby pins to make those stick in better bones. Good, you hairspray, because I'm not gon na be wearing this wig a lot Seth! It'S just for this video. If you want a stronger hold, you use a bobby, pin all right. Let'S get working on this front section, so there's a big gap in teasing right here. Look at that big gap of space, we're gon na connect that in French lace it alright. What I'm gon na do here is create a wave. Let'S show you the molding of the wave quick again you wan na make sure everything is sort of getting brought back together. I use my palm to hold back those little pizza pieces of hair that are keeping our bobby pin disguised as I smooth out this back to get cleaner, oh yeah, that's the meat gorgeous! Look at that just remoting with my fingers. That'S got a beautiful wave to it. That will s didn't see, it's just a matter of me. Just molding it with my hands and hairspray use my fingers to pick it out when the hair is like this, like this hair is kind of old. It feels like, like it's got kind of an older quality to it. It feels a bit more work, because I did all that Bobbie she's, all that teasing and all that hair spraying to it. So it's willing to mold into like more shapes than you would expect it to all right. I got a good thing going here. I'M just gon na do an S flip and I'll be right back I'll. Do the rest off-camera all right! I'M doing we have a hair cut to it, because it's a little long and a little hard to style. So hair cut okay. Well in consistent, that's fine! We can. We have that work in our favor rush this, so we can get some kind of fun flick with this going taking it with my fingers and trying to mold it into a direction I like alright and now for real. Now I'm gon na come back after I do the rest, off-camera and I'll cut this and show you the wig. Alright, she is all styled. This is the front, and this is the back. She is a cute French twist, the nice little sixties, flip kind of like Velma Von Tussle in the original hairspray, the Debbie Harry roll. If she don't got older and dyed her hair lavender. Alright, now we're gon na do the front and cut the wig line. You know I'm gon na, do it I'm darker wig head, so you guys have to see it this time, cuz yeah, I'm looking back at that video I was like James. They can't see that so we're gon na take little bites and I always start you know with a little bit more because you put on your head you're gon na, adjust it to your own hat. So you want to have more to cut way and have to less otherwise. You know it's not gon na work, for your got to get the way to somebody else, the smaller hat, I'm using applications. If you have like little tiny, pinking shears, those will work too or a cuticle scissors turn it and pull away. My rubbish see like I showed you guys. This hairline is not hard to do. It just takes a little practice. But honestly, if you have you in the basis knowledge of teasing, you can do this and of course this is not the shape of anyone's head so to get the best measurement to your head, you have to put it on and that's exactly what I'm gon na Do I'm gon na put this on and finish coating the hairline on my house I'll be right back alright. This is the final result holy crap. This hair is big okay, so that teasing that was in there. It got like huge like this is how much violent got from one way, and I did the rooted hairline to it. So it looks like that and I did a French twist with a nice flip on the side. It'S very Velma Von Tussle from hairspray. Now this was the original wig idea and it's fair to say I took it an entirely different direction, but I'm not bad at it. It'S very very drag, although I do have some minor things I want to bring up. One thing that really stood out to me is that this wig had a lot less hair in it like there's so much up top from the teasing, but the back tracks. There was very few there and I know what it is, but like the hair quality felt a little bit cheaper, like it wasn't. Full-On party city, like you, know, straw, hair, wigs, but like it's felt a little bit like. Oh, no, the hair was a lot tougher to work with, but I'm actually get something cute out of it. Comparing to the first week that I transformed it was a bit more of a fight that I was going to get myself into and reduce some of the shine. I use the dry shampoo, but those are your wonder what brand I'm using. I am using the REM cure, biotin and collagen brand one, its unscented, and it gave me a nice. You know dulled the shine on the wig which this wig was very very shiny. Y'All saw in the beginning, not sponsored, but you know what is sponsored: the mantled magical wings spray from black phoenix alchemy lab. Now this week is just missing one more thing: the scent of cream soda. I feel just like a Midwest morning-after available at black Phoenix epi lab calm and, if you think for a second, I'm done promoting you're wrong. In case you missed my last video.
