How To: Coloring My Texlaxed Hair (No Bleach) Using Loreal Hicolor Highlights Magenta

Hey everyone! Here is the highly requested video of how I colored my hair. I used Loreal Hicolor Highlights Magenta. The awesome thing about this hair dye is that it requires no pre-lightening. It lifts dark hair 3-4 levels.

I'm 6 months post relaxer. Not planning on texlaxing any time soon.

Products I used:

Plastic Gloves

Vaseline

Loreal Hicolor Highlights - Magenta http://ebay.to/1RUBo9E

Clairol 30 volume developer http://ebay.to/220NSfn

PYT Flat Iron: Use Code: Evelyn for 65% off your entire order. http://pythair.com/?aff=78

Hey guys, this is Evie and welcome back to my channel in this video, I'm going to be showing you how I colored my hair. I have gotten so many questions, so I am here to give you guys all the deets, the color that I use is L'Oreal high color highlights and color magenta, and I mix that with Klara 30 volume developer. I went ahead and put some vaseline on my forehead. In all my ears, I mixed the hair dye. This hair dye does not need any bleach. You just need to mix the hair color with the developer, so I use two tubes of L'Oreal hi color and I started from the tips and I worked my way up at first. I did use the brush, but it wasn't really getting the color on like I wanted to so I just started to smooth it on with my fingers after I have left it on for about 30 minutes and I have washed and conditioned - and this is the color It came out a lot darker than I was expecting, but all in all it is still cute and, as you can see, my hair still curled up. There was no significant damage or anything like that. So this is the color kind of like a deep burgundy and 99 Jayesh color, but I wanted something brighter so a week later, I repeated this process and this is the hair color that I got so so pretty so pretty hey. I am really really enjoying this hair color. My hair still feels really good, it doesn't feel weak or thin or anything I don't have any breakage. My hair feels the exact same way it did before I colored it. However, I am taking care of it more doing more deep conditions and all that good stuff. So thank you guys for watching. If you have any questions or comments, just feel free to leave those down below, don't forget to Like and subscribe, and I will talk to you in my next one.

Chioma: Hi! I know this was ages ago, but how did it turn out long term? Was it drying to the hair? What products did you use to maintain the colour? How often did you dye it? And also, is it safe to relax your roots again after? Thank you!

Graciela Gomez: That's exactly the color I want!! Thanks for this video!:)

Cindy: I love these dyes. The color is beautiful and you can dye your hair multiple times and not have much damage

Donni Blahh: Your hair color came out beautiful the second time which is what I was expecting the first time. It did not take to my color well with the exception of the front where I had already put something in recently to cover up a silver patch and some strands across the front. I will do the same thing. I also tried it with two tubes of magenta and one tube of true velvet (and only use half of the true velvet.) I hope my second time around turns out as gorgeous as your hair color is. And I know I'm having to take extra steps for deep conditioning which I've already stated I was going to do on a regular every other week if not every week.

Renee Johnson: i tried this color for the first time it came out so bright so i had to dye my extensions but i love this color and your is so healthy and beautiful.

Rooted Locs: I was wondering,,.,do you wear your texlaxed hair in its "natural state" or is it always stretched/flat ironed?
