Hi you guys, so I just wanted to make this short little video to show you guys how I add low lights into my blonde. So I don't do it the traditional way I feel like in hair school. We all learn the two to one method or the three to one, and I don't like to do it in any specific pattern, because I feel like every client's head is unique and different and we want to make sure that we're customizing the color for the client. So for her we are doing a half highlight and I am just going through and doing all of my baby lights with Lightner, I'm not leaving any sections out for low lights. I am doing all highlights right now. I am using swart chops blonde me with 20 volume and olaplex, and I am just doing a very fine tightly packed baby light right here and then I'm going to show you a little later on how I add the low lights in think. I need to help you cute, as hell hi wan na burn together in a merry way with me. Oh now that the highlights are all in this is how it looks I am going to be going through and adding the lowlights in now. So I'm starting on this right section and what I like to do is just randomly grab pieces in between the foils that I feel like. I want to put a low-light in. If I do it this way, I have control over where the lowlights lay. I know where I'm gon na want to place them and it looks a lot more natural. So it's not a specific pattern. It'S just done by hand and I'm just dying it and I feel like it gives me better results. I'M also baby lighting it so that the low lights are very fine sections, and this also helps it look a little more natural instead of chunky. I am using gold wall color on seven n7g, equal parts. This is my favorite low light formula for my blonds. The seven n7g is a really good combination of neutral and warm so that it doesn't go green on the blonde hair, but it's also not too warm. Okay. Now we are at the bull and I'm pulling all of the lowlights first and I usually rinse those just that it doesn't bleed into the blonde, and now we are going to be doing a slight root shadow. I am using gold. Well, color runs seven and seven and eight equal parts. I let this sit for about 15 minutes. This is just going to give her a nicely shadowed, look without being too dramatic and then we will tone her ends. There was your girl, you get that some seetio was crazy. You love it. You hate it for my toner. I am using gold while Colorado, 10 P. 10 n. I love this toner for a really bright buttery natural blond. That'S on the cooler side, but not too ashy, okay. So this is the final result. You guys, I thought it would be nice to show you a quick little tutorial on how I like to add depth back into blonde hair. As you can see here, she has some slight dimension throughout, but it's still a nice bright blonde. I hope you guys liked this video don't forget to Like and subscribe and also let me know what videos you would like to see in the future. Thank you. So much for watching you guys have a great day.

Viridiana arceo: Do you always tone the lowlights when turning a blonde into a dimensional balayage? If so, hownso you know how many of them to tone?

CarolinaMommy: If I had the money, I would fly from the coast of NC to your salon in Utah just to get my hair done blonde by you. I’ve been growing my natural color out for over a year now and I want the already processed part to be a nice pale blonde like this woman’s. It looks so good

majamon: Looks so soft and natural great job!

A: Beautiful outcome! Hard to find good vids using goldwell. I’m a goldwell girl so I loved learning from this. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, your work is truly amazing girl!

EnlightenedMcgaw: Did you put the toner on the low lights too?

SHANNA HURLEY: Need help my stylist is not great with color. I want a true dark ash blonde. Everytime she does my hair it pulls warm. Frustrated. What is a good formula for base color?
