The Basics | 1Step Long Layers !! Affordable 99J Burgundy Wig #Incolorwig

Hey everybody, it's ivy and today we're going to be doing a hair video. So we're not going to be doing this look of course this is. I just came back from running some errands, but i'm really excited to do my hair because i have color you guys. I got this super, pretty fall ready, color and i just want to give you guys up close to the color first, because it's just you guys. This wig is gorgeous and it came pre-colored. So this beautiful unit is from um in color wigs. So this is how it looks up close. I didn't um bleach the knots or anything like that. I just plucked it a little bit around the hairline. So this is exactly how the hairline looks. It looks really really good, and this is the color of the lace. It is like a hd lace, and this is kind of like um, a brownish color. I don't think i really need to tint it, but you guys, i love this wine cherry type of color um. It kind of looks like it's almost like highlighted, as you guys can see it's like a deep red with a more of a wine cherry red. It'S just perfect. You guys, and i think this look. I want to do like um, like some big juicy like layers or whatever, so i am gon na um. Do the ponytail layer method on this unit. I did a video showing you guys um how to do that before it's really really simple. So what we're going to do is i'm putting a pin in the back of my wig right here just so when we flip it up, it stays down, and you also want to make sure it's a pin. Oh you also want to make sure it's a pin. Um right in the front, without you know, what we're going to do is go ahead and literally turn our wig upside down, okay and move all the hair to the front. So what you want to do is cut off about this much hair and you can just cut it on a slant and you just want to like thin out that cut. So it's not all blunt and stuff and clean up the hair. As you go you guys, because if you like me, i hate a whole lot of hair everywhere so yeah and be careful with your fingers. Be careful not to you know, chop your fingers off and then we're going to release that now. These are the natural layers. You guys you can go in and cut more layers, but that's literally how easy it is. It is to get layers i'm going to curl this all over and i'm going to do like big curls, i'm not going to do super small ones. I am going to use my big jumbo curler. This is a um ion curler. I will link it below like these are some of my favorite curling irons, yeah, you guys this cut turned out perfect, i'm so happy with it. As you guys can see, it's so shiny and so bouncy, so pretty now we're about to get ready to install this, but you guys look at that layer. It is so freaking perfect. So right here on the lace i didn't um bleach the knots or anything i'm just going to use my ebn um. I put this on the last latch like that, and the first thing i'm going to do is cut here and cut here and this one stops kind of above my sideburns, so i'm just gon na cut it up to there. Honestly, you guys these days, i don't even trip over stuff, not uh, fitting down to my sideburn anymore. I actually like when stuff stops just above it. Now i'm going to go ahead and install the um unit, i'm just going to spray some edm not too much just enough and then we're going to let this down. At this point you can add more baby hair or take away baby hair. Whatever you want to do, but that's why i like doing it like this, so i can really see it and once my baby hair dries down, i'm going to go in and add some foundation and the lace just to hide the knots a little bit more. I'M going to take some pressed powder and just put a little bit just in areas where you can kind of see my wig grip and stuff underneath i honestly would recommend wearing this wig with a cap. I don't think i want to part in this wig. I think i want to do it with no part, i'm taking my blow dryer and just press everything back and i'm using the dyson hot air brush. Look at those layers like what finish up this look with a lipstick, i'm gon na be right back. Okay, you guys so this is the end result of the cut, and i love it. The company did such an amazing job coloring this unit. The cut really takes the color up a notch.
