I Tried Checker Hair Color On A $300 Wig

Oh hi, beautiful sorry, we're just waking up from a nap today we're just going to [ __ ] around. That'S, basically the story of today's video. I just came up with a color line called x, mono color, and i want to play around with it, because i do it every day and i can't get enough of it. It'S so much fun and i can't even have my own color line. We'Re gon na. Do a checkered hair because i woke up this morning and thought checkered hair. I feel like that's, not really a trend yet, and i want to make it a trend. I want checkered hair for everyone if it works out today. So, basically, today we're taking a beautiful full lace: wig cutting some bangs, a bob doing a checkered pattern with some super blue and super pink. It'S going to be fire. I hope, let's have some fun today with some color. Let'S do it so we're gon na start. We actually did start. I started you didn't do anything. I actually sectioned the hair into four quadrants. It'S an expensive, wig honey and i'm about to maybe ruin it. It'S okay, though um it'll be cute. I'M gon na give her bangs first because we want to make sure wherever we're placing this checkerboard pattern makes sense with the haircut that she's getting i'm not gon na. Tell you exactly how to do this, because it's not that hard and um! I'M not here to tell you to do bangs today. So sorry about that, i am just gon na. Do a little bang bang boom and i want a kind of thick bang. You know and we're just gon na go a little. Oh, oh i did it. Don'T sue me, okay, this looks kind of dope, but she has bangs. Now, oh my god, i feel like i've. Actually, never given a lace front wig bangs before because it's like, why have it lace front if it's gon na have bangs well today we're breaking all the rules baby? Oh my gosh she's cute, all right! So i'm just gon na go ahead and just do a little trimmy trim, poo poo on the rest of her hair. Should i give her a big trim here here here here? You think i should do a short. Ah, you guys are bad oops. I didn't even look when i did that. Oh my god, this is making me so happy today. There goes all the money i spent on this wig in that length baby. It'S cute, like don't even tell me, it's not don't even we're back, kick cack kick and we're gon na put some gloves on today we're doing black gloves. I usually do pink. I know it's crazy, but like there's so much going on here - and i don't need the gloves to be another element in this outfit, it's a lot. It'S a lot having blue hair. I have to tone it down just a little bit so we're using super pink and super blue, because these are very different from each other. One'S really bright, pink one's really dark blue. This is what i have in my hair. I washed my hair like seven times now, so that's why it's a little bit lighter now. These are gon na be on her head and i'm gon na. Do it because i'm the hairdresser here and i'm gon na talk to you guys about that's been bothering me lately, so my poa plan of action is to do the pink first, because we don't want the blue mixing in with the pink. So if i do the pink first, we might get a little bit of like crossover there, but if i do blue last, i won't i drew this little picture that you'll see right now. It is actually my inspo for today, so i'm gon na follow that pattern. Let'S go in with the pink on this side, ready for the first stroke, so, let's go through here! I'M just gon na do the roots real, quick and now i'm just gently combing through and because my color has so many conditioning properties. It'S healing your hair from the inside out as you color it conditioning out of it. So we can just comb right through that and it's nice and slippery and beautiful and yes, i colored the lace but that'll be cut off it's okay, so that is one little section complete. That was a lot for me this morning. So now we go in on this side and i'm basically going to do pink up to like here when i do color, i like to start from the bottom up with a color like these, because that way we avoid having to flip the hair over. On the other side, while we're coloring and then you just got ta, take your comb and go kaploon. I love using my color right out of the jar. It'S so easy to use. It'S gon na make your hair feel this is so embarrassing guys. This is really embarrassing. Why me do you see what i just did? I just did that entire strand pink, i hate myself. I was supposed to do the ends. Blue, okay. Well, we might have a section. That'S a little purple um for mixing these two together. This is what happens when you film, youtube videos and try a new color at the same time. It'Ll be fine. This blue is dark, it'll be great. This is why we started with pink and not blue, so we can mess up just a tiny bit um. Hopefully we can fix that later on. I wanted to just say that people need to stop coming for me. I don't like bringing up bad situations. Um not! This is like totally bad. It'S like, whatever, honestly i'm just really sick of people like undermining my professionalism and who i am as a hairdresser, and it's a lot of hairdressers. Right doing this to me, and it's really sad, to say the least um that people will say things like he's a fraud. I get that a lot. I have no idea where it comes from um because i'm not but a lot of people think that i'm like not a real hairdresser or everything i'm doing is like all fake and made up and like all this, just wild stuff that i like seriously, don't understand. Where all the hate comes from or why people are so angry with me, this is definitely a new feeling, whereas i don't feel like. I had a lot of hate before when i was just on youtube, but now i'm on so many different platforms and i get so many more people see me and then like there's, just a lot more hate going on and i'm not here for it. But i'm not like believe you guys, i i'm not crying about it or like upset about it or like whatever um, maybe once in a while i'll like internalize it, but that's very rarely everything i do is real and i'm not faking anything or or trying to Be somebody i'm not, and i hope you guys don't believe the things that you see online about me because they're all not true pretty much all of them like anything, that's really hateful and nasty, it seems to be like another hairdresser who's, probably jealous, like i'm just Gon na say it y'all are jealous. You only just stay in your lane and work on your own career instead of trying to sabotage mine. That'S all i'm just sick of it. The most annoying thing being on social media for me is like wanting to read your comments because of all the nice things that people say, but knowing that, if you read them, you're gon na come across. Some really mean things that you like want to prove aren't true, but you can't um, because it'll just make it crazier and people will never believe you no matter what you do so we're making our way up the head here and this girl has loads of hair And i need to do the thinnest sections ever and be so careful to not paint the lace. It'S going to take me the next three hours to apply this uh-huh. I love it. They said it'd be fun and i believed them and, as you can see guys, i am taking my time making sure that both sides are covered and making a line. I'M trying to kind of match the bang. So she really gets that like color blocking effect and i'm just going real slow here, i'm taking like paper thin sections that i can see through and avoiding that scalp area. If you're doing this on your real head, don't have to avoid the scalp area. You can just go right on it. So remember i said i was only gon na. Do the pink all over the head first! Well, i'm bored! So i'm gon na do the blue now because life's about taking risks - and i wan na see this side look good before i do the rest. We'Re gon na try and cover up this pink mess up here. Definitely gon na be purple, but that's okay, guys! Every time i do one of these wigs for you guys, i always choose to do the most challenging thing possible having to do a color you've never done before, while using two colors that are very different from each other on the same head, while trying to color A wig and avoid the lace at all costs. It'S just a lot. It really takes a toll on me. I like to really layer my color on there just to make sure everything is fully fully saturated. I think i did it. One section back: you're kidding, you're kidding, you're kidding, hey guys, i'm back three mental breakdowns later and we're here. It looks so easy. I know guys it looks like i'm doing the most simple thing like okay, yeah cool, just like color the hair brad. It'S not easy. When you're using colors that are so opposite from each other are the same hair and you're trying to not blend them, it's not a blended look. It'S supposed to have like a harsh line, and then i keep forgetting what i'm doing and i'm just struggling all around. I mean this happens literally every time i do a wig, i'm just continuing around the head. I think i'm adjusting quite well to having blue hair. I was like really scared about having blue hair every time. I'Ve colored my hair a shade other than blonde. I regretted it and then the next day i usually take it out and remove it and my hair ends up really damaged. So i stopped doing that. I was like you know what she got my natural hair color for as long as possible and that's what i did for a hot minute and then well. I came out with a color line and it's not like i'm not gon na use, my own hair color. You know on my own head that would make me crazy and fraudulent see. That'S the time i would be. You could call me a frog. So if i never use my own hair color on my own head, because that would be awkward and so i did it and i went blue, i have to say the next day i was like damn i'm crazy. I have a mullet and i have blue hair. Not just one or the other and um, that's an intense look for me, because i don't know if you knew this about me also, is that i like to wear a lot of crazy clothing. I know it's kind of shocking. I know you didn't know that about me, but i do i really do like wearing a lot of stuff that has a lot of color and a lot of brightness to it. So it's a whole look all the time, but i'm adjusting to it and i think it's more in my head. But now i love the blue, there's just something about wearing your own hair color on your own head. That makes me just so happy and makes me feel really cool. Does this mean i have to change my hair color to every single color? I come out with probably right. My favorite thing about doing these types of colors. Is that once i'm done with this, and once i watch the footage back, i'm gon na be like wow brad, okay, dumb like? Why did i not do it this way or this way or this way or what like? Why did i choose to do it? The hardest way possible every single time i watch it back. I would say the hardest part about this right now, also, is that i can't comb it through. So i take like the thinnest sections possible in order to make sure that i don't get a bunch of spots from the blonde hair shining through which i feel like i honestly might still get i'm doing my best guys starving. I want my food. What is that? Why am i naked all of a sudden? I look crazy. Okay. I have officially completed the color process. That was like two and a half hours. I think just please tell me i didn't miss a spot. Please tell me this is gon na look good. Please wait! God i i need this today, i'm interested in. What'S going on for sure it's looking like a checkerboard and i think it's gon na look cool. Then again, i'm not sure i'm starving my dog needs to go for a walk, so i'm gon na go. Do that rinse off her hair, it's gon na process for 20 minutes, and while it's processing her hair will be repairing, because that is my color does. It is not only hair color, but it also repairs your hair. At the same time, we have hyaluronic acid. We put oils in here proteins and we put bond builders, so you get that magic all in one with x, mono color. I will see you guys once this is all processed and maybe i'll show you the haircut or maybe i'll just show you. The final look. I haven't decided yet: are you guys ready to see the finished result in three two one? Why do i go on youtube? Looking like this, you cannot tell me that i don't look like kate blanche and mix with nicki minaj mixed with sia. I'M just saying. Um, did it come out like exactly as bland? No do i look good with a front bang? No, do i look good with a long blunt bob? No i'm telling you no and did the color come out exactly how i wanted it to no. Oh, the back is definitely a checker okay, but what a surprise that is, every time i do these damn wig videos. They never come out how i want them to, because i don't prepare enough for them. I mean it looks interesting. This side came out like violet, because the blue mixed with the pink and then this is like pure, pink. Listen like this color. You guys know i've done a lot of crazy [ __ ] on my channel with wigs. This one was probably number two hardest. Honestly. It looks so simple. It'S like what two colors you know. I should be able to do that. It'S really hard when it's two totally different colors on a wig and you're trying not to make them blend, but they're blending together and you do literally everything in your power makes them not make them blend. But then your hands get like one piece of little blue on them and then all of a sudden, it's in the pink part, and it's really frustrating it looks kind of cool. I'M sure you guys will hype me up. You guys always do so. Thank you. Even though i always feel like about the wigs at least i try at least i have fun with it. You know. I said this last time but like if you're not good at something like at least just try and do it and like if it sucks, then it sucks, but at least you tried and you persevered and you did something you're not comfortable with that's all that matters. You know i'm gon na stick to doing like blonde wigs from now on. I do look cute, though, like i do look very femme and i'm kind of living for it. I'M like definitely staring myself a lot. They always fade super quickly to light brown, i'm thinking about chopping it to a long bob and would love to know your opinion. That'S interesting, probably because your hair has been through too much with box dye uh. It'S not that i hate box eye for any like weird reason that doesn't make sense. It'S only because you don't need box dye. If you have black hair, all you're gon na do is retouch the root with permanent black color, which you can use box dye. I guess you really want to. I know you're going to anyways, just do it and then the ends. You need to put a denim permanent color over them to refresh the color. You don't want to keep putting boxes over and over again or else your hair will get really porous and will not be able to hold the color demi-permanent on the ends permanent on the roots whenever they grow in and yes, i think you should totally do a Bob, if you've been thinking about it, i think that would look divine on you.
