Jon Renau January Petite Wig Review | Check Out This Color! | Martini 101F48T | How Is The Fit?

This is january, it's in the color martini, 101. F, 48. T lots of detail here about the fit and we're gon na check out this color really well coming up. Jon renau has come out with a new petite style collection, some of their favorite styles in the petite sized cap and i'll make a list here alongside the video during editing. So you can see what jon renau styles are available in this petite cap so now january, which is arguably their most popular short curly. Bob style in the jon renau lineup is available in regular, it's available in petite, and it's available now also in hand. Tied january is a gorgeous style. I have owned this style in lots of different colors. I'M especially enamored with the beautiful wavy pattern on this style and the realistic cap features so in the front january features about an eight and a half inch bang area. Here, that's going to stretch a couple of inches below my chin overall, it's between 10 and 11 inches, so it's just above the collar not to cause any friction and excessive, wear and tear, and then it meets up with a four and a quarter inch nape. Now that nape is a little bit undercut so you're going to see a little bit of a ledge effect there not a whole, not very drastic but enough, and that also lends itself to that. Full look of january january has a full lace front and full monofilament top. Let'S take a look, so this is a part of jon renau's, smart lace, collection, you're, going to see a beautiful, extended lace front now on this color. Isn'T it gorgeous? The knots are very fine. They blend seamlessly into my skin tone. It'S a nice, durable lace, material, it fits flush to the head and then you've got the full monofilament top. You can part this wherever you like, so one thing with monofilament tops is that sometimes we sacrifice the volume and the lift at the very top. A lot of us really like that, and i think january needs something on top just to balance out with all the volume on the sides. So they've done this right, the way they've sewn in the fibers to the monofilament top. It does give a little bit of contour and lift at the top with not without having a lot of permatease right there. Now i've had this wig for several weeks. I ended up purchasing it on the wig studio. One clearance i was so excited to see it come up because i was really hoping to try this color, but it wasn't decided on what style. So this is perfect. This is the color martini by the way, 101 f. 48 t it's described as being like a pearl white, all the way around the face, and then a blending of pearl white and 75 gray all over and then it says, there's a light brown mix at the nape. So what i'm seeing is that that pearl white, mixed with this beautiful gray, is pretty much well blended. All the way around. I don't see any large striping or anything on the white and then at the nape. It does appear to be a little bit darker, but i wouldn't describe it as brown. It just looks like a very dark ash blonde. To me this is not a rooted color. So, overall, this is a really cool ash tone. It would easily trans help you transition from blonde to gray, because i can see this going either way. This is a color that i would wear every single day and i don't typically wear grays january only weighs 2.8 ounces, as it is here on this petite cap. The density is just an average density, it doesn't seem to be too poofy and full. I love the beach wave texture on this style, so you've got like a nice shattered, deconstructed wave pattern and then it's been taken down on the ends a little bit just to give it that beautiful, shattered beach wave texture. So it's still a nice round short bob and capable of quite a bit of volume, you're going to see quite a bit of permatease on january, all the way around that monofilament at the back uh real, thick and heavy here at the nape and at the temples You can really pump up volume in this style. This would also be a wonderful style if you wanted to experiment with some texturizing spray like a sea salt spray, i think there's a couple on the market and jon renau actually has one available, but that would just bring out this and separate this texture even more. This is a beautiful summer style. Isn'T it all right so the good stuff - and this is what we want to know - we've all seen january um and i have seen january and owned plenty of them every time with my 21 and a quarter inch circumference. I'Ve had to cinch the adjusters in and practically crisscross them and deal with a little bit of bagginess in the cap up and around the temple and the crown, and that's just a sign that the cap really is too big for me. And when i make those drastic adjustments to have it fit my circumference, it creates the gaps and gathers in the cap. So what i can tell you is that on this giant john renaud january petite that there is no baggy cap when i put it on it's like. Ah, if you've got a petite, circumference or even petite average, you you understand the feeling of getting into a cap that actually fits you. It'S just heaven. It almost feels like there's absolutely nothing on. What i can say is that it feels like they have shortened up. The ear to ear measurement, they've shortened up the front to back as well as the circumference. However, i still had to sense in the adjusters nearly as far as they could go to accommodate my petite circumference. So i think they've really done a great job at eliminating the gaps and the gathers that we feel as petite wig wears when our caps are too big. But i think you still may leave room for some adjustment in the circumference, because i really feel like these styles are probably appropriate for anywhere between you know 21 and 22. Inches is is my guess, and if you're, between 20 and 21 i've a few of you have reached out to me and said: gosh taz, i'm 20 or 20 20 and a half. I think you can still make a good adjustment with the petite, and actually the petite is as good as it gets guys. They don't make an ultra petite. I think some some brands have child sizes that may actually fit you better, but then again you're not getting the style. So i think this one is an absolutely beautiful piece and you're really gon na love the feeling the the glove on hand feeling of this petite cap. There'S a seam adjoining to the single monofilament top beautiful illusion of scalp nice, fine knotting there quite a bit of wefting, as you can see here and then an extended felted, nape here and then velcro style adjusters.
