Today, we're gon na do a comparison. I love comparisons. I know do you do too, and I've had some requests to show these particular colors side by side, so we're going to examine and compare today what I'm wearing is the Raquel Welch maximum impact on the color shaded week, RL 1422 SS. We'Re also going to bring on RL 1222 SS shaded cappuccino and my favorite RL 1923 SS shaded biscuit coming up. So what I'm wearing here is the maximum impact. I do have a review out there on this style. I don't in all honesty, wear it very much. The length isn't really practical for me, but it has some beautiful body wave in it, big circular body waves and it's about a medium length, and it has a little bit of a longer front here. So she did wheat, a medium, warm honey base, color and that's heavily highlighted with an ash blonde, and those ash blonde highlights seem to be a little more chunky around the face brought right up to the waist on front in true Raquel Welch fashion. That just kind of really brightens it up. I feel like this is a warmer tone blonde, even though honey could kind of go either way, it's a darker, warmer honey tone. Now, all of that is on a medium brown route and that routing can be kind of viewed all over the style, so it does give it a nice dimension and it darkens it up just a little. Those ash highlights just really kind of neutralize. Some of this warmth give it a beautiful dimension. Ok, so now it's time to do our first comparison, which is the RL 1222 SS shaded cappuccino. So I have that color here on the Raquel Welch, an unfiltered brand new for 2020 beautifully angled short wavy, Bob style cut very unique and modern for Raquel Welch. But let's examine this color the base color on the RL 12:22 SS is a light ash brown. So that is a very a she toned Brown base color and then it's heavily highlighted with you guessed it an ash blonde, but I'm also picking up on a few strands of caramel brown as well. So that's probably the only warmth that you're going to see in this color. The overall effect is kind of neutral to ash in tone, and I especially love those highlights again around the face more boldly placed around the face. So the shaded wheat, I believe, is definitely a little warmer in tone than the shade of cappuccino. Also, maybe a tad lighter in tone as well. So we're looking at the unfiltered again here in the RL 1923 SS shaded biscuit it's a combination of some light sandy brown, some some really nice ash blonde tones. I see some honey in there and very striking around the face, is kind of a neutral, platinum shade. So this is not without a little bit of warmth, so it's a combination of some ash tones and some neutral tones, and maybe just a tad of warmth. With that honey, I would say that that the shaded biscuit is more neutral to ash in overall tone is definitely going to be a little cooler in tone than the shaded wheat, RL, 1422 ss. I've been watching your videos for some time now and really appreciate your reviews since I'm pretty new to wigs and I always find myself agonizing about all the styles and colors out there. Just a couple of months ago, I decided to take a chance with the more expensive wigs and bought my first RW Spotlight in the Shaded Biscuit from CysterWigs . Although I love the style of the wig, I was confused about how different the color looked from what I saw on all the videos I watched, not just on your channel but also on other people's review of this color. Since I like the style of the wig so much, I ordered it again, but this time I got the Biscuit color. I just got it this Tuesday and to my surprise it is way lighter than the Shaded Biscuit. I also found that the texture of fibers between the two wigs was different. The fibers on the first wig I got seemed to be very coarse at the very end in the back, but the second wig the fibers were soft everywhere. Because I watched your reviews, I know that the True2Life fibers tend to tangle and get frizzy in the back, especially the long ones, but the fact that there is that much difference between the two wigs makes me wonder if maybe the first wig had been used before. I would really love to know your thoughts about these differences/issues, and if you have any advice on how to make a more informed decision when buying a wig without actually seeing it. I did have SS Biscuit on Crowd Pleaser, but the root on the one I had was very stark and though the color is lovely, it wasn't really me. I may have to try SS Wheat one day if I can find a deal on a style I like. I really love Unfiltered, but will have to wait on a closeout deal or Ebay find to get that one.
