Hey everybody welcome back to tess's wig closet at wig studio one today we're gon na compare two newer popular colors by beltress and their cafe collection. We'Re going to compare the new british milk tea color with the brown sugar sweet cream color on two shorter sister styles. In that line coming up, so the style that i have on is the lemonade style by belletress in their cafe collection, a short kind of a wedged angle, a little bit of an angled bob with a longer front right around eight and a half inches. It has a lace, front, left, monofilament side, part, but let's break down this color real quick, so we can start doing a comparison. Now. The british milk tea is a a layering of eight different, blondes and browns, and on this particular style and application, i feel like it really looks like a dark blonde to me um, so i feel like there's, probably a soft light neutral brown. I see a soft sandy brown in there. I see a neutral blonde. I see some light blonde and i see some platinum or white pieces, especially around the front, so extremely layered color. All of that, on a little bit of a darker root, the even the root is a little bit ashy in tone and it's soft and transitions beautifully into this color. Now, all of that being said um it looks like they went all over this with a violet toner. It softens the color, it makes it appear a little powdery and in certain light you can pick up on little glimpses of lavender all the way around pink, a pinkish lavender color. Sometimes sandy colors can do that too, depending on the light. So what that's going to tell you right away is this is neutral to ash and tone. It'S just a powdery ashy dark blonde appearance, uh in in my opinion, and it's kind of a muted shade because of the toner effect all over on this piece. That'S a little darker at the nape. So now, let's do our comparison. I have bonbons sitting back here in the brown sugar sweet cream. So bon bon is another short style about the same length as lemonade. The front pieces are a lot shorter than lemonade and there's more choppy layering um in the bon bon. But you can see this brown sugar. Sweet cream is a a light, a medium and a dark ash brown all of those tones running through, and then it's heavily highlighted with a light, sweet cream, a light, buttery sweet cream, which appears to be a little warmer okay. So i think the overall appearance of this color is also more neutral, but it does appear a lot warmer than the british milk tea. Doesn'T it it's a completely different, color combination? It would be very difficult to compare these in real life because i don't feel like they are comparable, but they have a lot of similar tones in them. I don't know if i put a toner like a violet toner all over the brown sugar sweet cream. If i would maybe end up with something that looked like the british milk tea, it's hard to say right, but i'm glad both colors exist, because i absolutely love both of them. You can just see the dramatic highlighting here now. I will say that if, when you see the british milk tea next to the brown sugar sweet cream, um, the british milk tea takes on a silvery look. Doesn'T it again, that's that toner, some of that white, that you see that has been toned by the violet toner kind of give it a silvery effect. Now, when i take away this color for perspective it, it really doesn't read silver to me. It has a powdery light appearance for sure and it's more neutral to ash in tone, and this one even has a lot of ashy tones in it. That'S balanced nicely by a little bit of a warmth in that sweet cream, but this will kind of tell you what you might be better suited for. I said in my video review of the british milk tea that i feel like this would be best suited for those neutral to cool skin tones, something with the pink undertone. Okay, because i don't feel like a a golden or a deep skin tone would be flattered by a color like the british milk tea. However, not the case with the brown sugar sweet cream. I think this is an all-around color. I have not seen any skin tone. Look bad in the brown sugar, sweet, sweet cream, just beautiful both colors okay, so let's go ahead and i will do a full spin for you in indoor light comparison and outdoor light. My hair and scalp were so dry and damaged since teenager years so i decided to shave it off and start fresh. Have you ever tried JR Martini Blonde? As RW'S BISCUIT/ SHADED BISCUIT, my former favorites have become quite dark, & unpredictable, I am searching out those Alfred Hitchcock cooler blondes, like shades of Grace Kelly & Eva Marie Saint. [LOL, WAY TO LIVE MY FANTASY;) I am a filmmaker...] I too, want the rooted colors with lighter rooted areas. That's why I am trying some new ones even without the roots. Recently, I tried CREAM SODA BLONDE & PALE GOLDEN HONEY way too warm. Next I'll maybe try Iced Sweet Cream/ Shaded Iced Sweet Cream in CURRENT EVENTS. SO FAR, RW'S CAPS & LACE FRONTS FIT AND FLATTER ME BEST! (I still need to try another JR, as my first was an ugly color!) If, you know which style RW wig in a medium to longer length style fits the head like Maximum Impact, my favorite for reliability, now being phased out, I think:( I am thinking about High Octane? What do you think? I truly need a wig grip to help the wigs from slipping back from perspiration from my head in summer. Dalgona got very wet in 90+ weather here yesterday! Is it necessary to spend top dollar here? Which is best for us gals with Petite /Average heads? One, that doesn't show... I appreciate you very much. Lo Presti: I have a pinkish cool complexion with medium dark green eyes with gold flecks.U would think with my cool toned skin, ash colors would work great for me.But for whatever reason, they dont.They look very drab on me n wash me out.Golden colors look better with my eye color and brightens my complexion.The warm tones look much better.But i am not warm skin toned.
