Athena is just a beautiful modernized, updated polished, mid-length bob cut, so the history behind this one is so it's been modernized right. So you remember the Bob's from from a while back would be more heavier in style. They would kind of have a curvature to the the fibers and it just looked outdated. So what Henry Margo did to update that traditional mid length, polished bob was to go ahead and add a lot of layers, its straighter, it hugs the head a little bit more they've put in lots and lots of layers and then they've textured. The ends with razored ends here, it's just beautiful, very effortless free-flowing. It just has a salon fresh impact. So let's take a look at this color very quickly, then we're going to talk about the specs, so this color 2500 H. First, I have to remark that this particular style comes in a lot of color options, and I know that it has been requested several times that we show some that are available in gray shades. I'M here to tell you that this one is available in for gray and silver shades, so be sure to check out all those color offerings. This 2500 H is a very warm butterscotch, so you're gon na see a butterscotch base base shade, like a butter, is a medium butterscotch blonde and then we're going to see some gold blonde highlighting it's very well blended. It'S not routed. It'S a very warm shade. If you're a fan of very warm blonde shades or even gold shades you're going to love this color now from from a distance though it is, it seems a little bit more muted, but right up close, you really get a sense of that butterscotch! Don'T you? Let'S talk about the specs, so we're looking at about a six inch been here. The top is about 15 inches. The back is about nine and overall it's about 15 inches in length. So you can see that six inch layer here just perfectly frames the face. It comes down to right about the end of my chin. You can curl them in. You can feather them back. I just love that layering around the face. I think it's just beautiful and then you can really get a sense up these sides and the razor textured ends here as well. It weighs about 3.75 ounces. This is a part of Henry Margot's. Naturally, yours collection, they're, really going for a very extremely natural look with some of these styles in that collection, so you're, going to see a full lace, front, double to temple hand, tied and then full monofilament top. So, let's take a look at the lay spread, very well done, the knotting, the material they use blends in seamlessly and to the any skin tone, and then the monofilament feature is just gorgeous and I'll. Show you an inside of the cap here in a little while I just have to remark that the more the more I get to experiment with the Henry market of styles, then we're impressing them with their quality. It'S just. It hits me every single time like wow. You know they didn't have to do that, but they did, and I think that's really impressive. I think that these wigs are made to look very just very quality. Very natural in this particular style just has a real sexy. Fleur to it, doesn't it very youthful it's easy to see why this is so popular, so to help with this free-flowing effect of all these beautiful razored ends and all the layering here they really have a light hand in the permit tease. So you have a full monofilament top. There will be some permittees around that monofilament top none really at the crown. That'S a very slim profile coming off the crown just a slight amount here on the sides, but this one overall, the permit ease is done just right enough to obscure wedding and help aid in supporting the style outside of those monofilament features. So that really goes with that sleek free-flowing effect that they were going for these fibers still very silky and are of, I would say, medium dinner. Now, I'm not sure I've got a lot of bright light on this color and it didn't appear to be too shiny to me a lot of times. The gold blonds in particular can look very shiny coming out of the box. This one wasn't wasn't too bad at all. They do have a very special finishing technique that I've learned in my journey here with Henry maar goo that really helps keep these fibers feeling silky soft to the touch and each one seems to be separated from one another and have a free-flowing effect on the fibers. The density so a lot of times when you get into Bob's chin length down to mid length, they seem to be thick and heavy and minimally layered because of these layers and these razor it ends. This density is very nice. I would say it's a medium density. It'S not too thick and it has beautiful movement. So I'm going to go ahead and do a spin in a turn so that you can see this from all angles. I'Ll try to wiggle my head a little bit. So you can see the movement of the hair and then we're gon na do an inside look at the cap, real, quick and then I'll just fiddle around with Athena here. So you can get a sense of how how I style it and how it can be manipulated into styles. I'Ll give you a sense of the density just by pulling together the hair in the back to see what the diameter of a ponytail would be like very thin, so it's kind of windy outside today. I was glad I was able to take you out because two things you got to see a look at this color in natural light, and you got to see how these fibers moved and reacted in the wind. It was a bit breezy today we're expecting some storms later this afternoon, but otherwise it's absolutely beautiful I'll, be right back with an inside look at the cap. Here'S a look at the inside of a cap for Athena and remember this is in the color 2500 H. So you can really get a sense of the butterscotch and the gold blonde highlights there. So here's her temple to Temple fully hand tied lace, front beautifully contoured. It does extend back into the air tab. Nice velvet ear tabs. Now these ear tabs give wonderful coverage if you're the type that you really have some bile hair right above the ear tab there. This does give some very nice coverage because I'm one of those people, so I can attest the back and then your full single monofilament top here, and if I get real close, you could probably sense where each one of these fibers are sewn in there individually. That gives it beautiful free movement. All the seams are velvet lined plenty of wedding here. Although the density like I said it's very nice, it has an extended open, nape here and velcro adjusters beautiful quality cap. This cap does fit true to average. It can be cinched in to fit a petite average circumference like myself, I drew this in just a bit. They can also be let out for an a maximum of an average large. How the style is made and created is going to dictate how you can style it on an everyday basis. So, with this one, we have a thin layer of permit cheese. All around that monofilament feature. We have some silky light, textured fibers and a regular density and all these razor it ends. So there's a lot you can do here. I'M gon na grab a wide tooth comb just to give you an idea of how silky and light textured those fibers are and how easily they can be pushed away from the face. So I like to when I have about a 6 inch fringe bangers or side pieces here I like to feather it just slightly away from the face and then, when it settles, it just gives a nice contour. So right now it's kind of parted right down the middle. Let'S do a left part, which is what I normally do. You can also change the part anyway you want, because there is a fully hand tied monofilament top and the fact that it's hand tight. You think you've heard me say before each one of those fibers are knotted in by hand and that just gives each and every fiber the ability to move independently of one another. So it really does react like natural hair. So, let's see what kind of lift we can get out of this style. What I love about Henry Margot's monofilament features is that they are thickly threaded, so it's not a sparse monofilament top and there's enough body to these fibers that you can get some left on the top, even though it's just a monofilament top no permit ease up there. So, let's see what we can do just get in there and kind of swirl and manipulate the hair into position. You can always spray it with some wig spray or use some contour cream. If you want some extra hold, but that's really cute, I think you can get some lift out of this. There'S very little permit T's around the ear tab. So I think you could definitely do it tuck. We have a few pieces out here to obscure the ear time now. This was right out of the box when I started to work with it here. It'S already coming to life because, right out of the box, the fibers need to be sprung from their pattern. A little bit to see what their natural movement is going to be like, so I just get in there and I swirl and I shake, and I move those fibers around - I get in there at the root and really soften them up, and they just become very Free in your hand, so you can see even here, where there's a little bit of permit ease here around that mono part and I'm able to bring out that texture just by scrunching scrunching those fibers. So there's enough length and enough hair here that you could get a nice ponytail, let's go ahead and do that and I'm only using a small to medium size call click here to do the ponytail, because it's not incredibly thick, which I love, I'm leaving these tags On because when I take these down to the Cancer Association, I really want these, ladies to get a the anticipation and the excitement of opening a brand new wig. Now they know that I've worn this week for a review but basically they're brand new, and you know how that is when you get a brand new wig, it's just really exciting. So I want to keep all the tags on makes a cute ponytail. Doesn'T it so if you love a mid-length, layered style, I think Athena is really at the top of this crop. I can think of some other brands that have similar styles like this. They probably don't have the lace. A monofilament features that this one does. They don't have the quality of cap construction and I don't think that the fibers are move as well. So I think that this is just a spectacular example of Henry Margo's skill set in creating these kinds of wigs just gives it a beautiful natural look. Doesn'T it boy the more I work with this one, the more I absolutely love this everybody have a wonderful day, thanks again for joining me for this Henry Marku series. It'S really important to me to be able to get the word out on this brand and the styles, and it's even more important to me in some ways that I can help give back to my community in a way that I know how take care.
