Lets Make A Wig | Neon Pink Hair

Hey everyone is Rachelle and welcome back to my channel. So today we are gon na be making a wig we're gon na be making this bright neon pink, wait! I'M gon na show you guys how I got the color, how I made this wig. So if you want to see how I got it, then please continue to watch. Ok, so to make this wig I'm using three bundles of 6 1/3 hair and the hair is from West kiss. I will put all their info in the description bar down below and the length that I use is 224 122 and my frontal is 20 inches all right, so I'm gon na show you guys how I protect my front tool from getting coloured from getting stained. So the first thing I like to do is I use some got to be gelled, that one is pretty much done and some got to be free spray. So I'm gon na apply the got ta, be gel all over that lace and I'm just gon na spread. It on that lace, just spread it like it's butter, so I'm just using a comb to do that and you guys I've destroyed so many frontals in the past. By not doing this method. Trust me, this actually really really works so good, and this is just how I've been doing all my weeks recently. Obviously I have learned this on youtube. I did not come up with this myself and I went in with some more got to be gel because obviously the other one I was using was all done, but I prefer to use the Clara one, but it really doesn't matter so I'm just applying more got To be gel onto my lace - and I use quite a lot of it and then I'm gon na go in and with my got to be free spray just to lock everything so applying the got to be gel and free spray onto your lace is just gon Na protect your lace from getting stained in color, so basically acts as a shield. I put I let it dry. You can also use a blow dryer to dry it as well, so it speeds up the process all right, so we're gon na move on to color. I'M gon na use the I on bright, semi-permanent cream, hair color in the shade rose and in the shade flamingos, and I picked up four of these. You guys so two of the rows in two of the flamingos and I'm just gon na go ahead and put some of that rose into a little mixing bowl and some of that flamingos in a mixing bowl as well, and I'm gon na mix them together. Okay, so after mixing the hair color together, I'm gon na go ahead and apply it all over the bundles with the application brush and then I'm gon na go through with the comb just to comb the color all through the bundles. You guys I didn't unravel my wefts, my bundles, because I thought maybe it'd be easier to color it like this, but I really did not like this method. This is my first time trying it like this, so I was just like you know, screw this, I'm just gon na unravel my second bundle and that's what I did. I unravel the second bundle and then I used some hair pins just to help separate the hair. So it doesn't get all tangled alright. So if you look really closely you'll notice, how poor, I think this one is - and this is actually a permanent brights color in the shade flamingo and the other shade that I'm using is the rose shade, which is that light pink and you guys they were in The same section at Sally's and I picked up the permanent by accident, and I was like wondering why is it so pink like super super bright anyways? I added some conditioner to this to kind of tone the color down a bit and also make sure that that color stretched, because I was going through these colors like nothing so add a conditioner. And then I went in with my application brush and started applying the color. My plan was for a light pink, not a super neon, bright, pink but anyways. I like how it came out. I was a little freaked out by how it looked at first, you guys it looks super bright, but I was like whatever we're gon na work this so so once I color the hair, I let the product sit in the hair for about 30 minutes before I Washed it out, I wasn't able to show you guys that scene, because I actually filmed this in my filming and I'm nowhere near the water but yeah. I let it sit for about thirty minutes and then wash the color out all right. So I have a lot of diet all over my table. I do have a plastic on there, so I put another plastic on top because I'm about to go in and call it the frontal and I don't want to get the pink hair all over my lace. I mean the pink color all over my lace, so this is what your lace should look like once the gel and the got to be three spray is all dried. It'S supposed to look hard and stiff, so I'm just gon na go in with the comb and just part that and then I'm gon na start coloring the hair from root to tip. So you guys by the time I got to the front till I already called it three bundles and I'm going in with the front toll. I use, I actually end up using six dyes, so I end up using three rows and three flamingo shades. Two of the flamingos were permanent and one was semi-permanent, so that's how many dyes actually in abusing - and I think it was quite a lot so next time. When I do this, I think I'm gon na just wan na make my wig first and then color. The actual wig and, of course, I'm gon na call it the other side as well as you can see, there's a little bit of pink dye on the lace, but don't worry when you wash it off. It'S gon na come right off and I let it sit for about 30 minutes. I let the dye sit for about 30 minutes and look at my lace, you guys it's nice and clean. I mean that's just a little bit of gel on it. I'M gon na wash that off, but yeah look at that no stains whatsoever. My frontal is looking bomb all right. So, to make my wigs, I use a dome style, wig cap and I use the mesh ones I'll put the info in the description bar down below and where you can get these. I got mine from Amazon, but you can get them at any beauty, supply store. So I'm just adding the frontal to the wig cap and if you notice there was some little blue markings on my wig cap, that's just a measurement of my head. So I measure everything first and the wig canvas head that I use is about 21 inches, which is the same size as my head and I'm just using some t pins to pin that front hold down to the canvas wig head, just to make sure it's nice And secure before I sew it down so you're gon na need some weave thread and you're. Also gon na need a weave needle as well to sew down your frontal. I have a very, very, very detailed video on how I made my wigs, so this video won't be very super detailed on how I make the wigs, because, honestly, it's all pretty much the same. I'M doing the same thing I did in the last a video. The only thing I did different today was I'm rocking pink hair. That'S the only thing different, so you can check out that video. I will link it in the description bar down below, so I'm just gon na show you guys just the first step and I'm just gon na go ahead and apply the first track to the canvas head and I use my tee pins to secure it. And then I go in with my needle and my thread and start sewing. You want to make sure that the stitch are very flat, because you want your wigs to look nice and flat when you're done so make sure that stitch is nice and flat. And I double knot everything at the end as well, and I always do the fold-over method instead of cutting my tracks, I find that you get less shedding this way, so I cut the track once I get to like closer to the top, but you will see That in my very detail, wig video, if you check that one out so this is what the completed wig looks like I'm gon na go in with a water bottle and I'm just gon na start spraying that a hairline, because I want to go ahead and tweeze. The hairline, so it looks a little bit more on the natural side, not bulky hairline. I already tweeted the right side, so I'm gon na go ahead and tweeze the left side and you need a comb to comb. The hair through and you're. Also gon na need a good tweezer, a really good tweezer and I'm gon na go in with my tweezers. So I start at the behind the hairline. I try not to over tweeze the actual hairline, because I've had issues with over tweezing before trust me. I'Ve tweeze the heck out of my frontals before to the point where it looks so bald. So I try to be very, very careful and just tweeze behind the hairline first, so you just really want to take your time and don't rush it, because you do not want to end up with a frontal that looks edgeless and bald. Okay, because that's just not a good look for your frontal trust me. It'S happened to me and so just take your time with it. So what I do sometimes also after I'm done tweezing the hair cuz. I can't really tell unless the wig is actually on my head. Sometimes it needs to be tweeze just a little bit more so I'll go in and I tweeze the hair just a little bit more when it's on my head just to make sure the hairline looks more on the thin side and not bulky. So this is pretty much what my wig looks like. She looks cute right, like I feel in her. She looks really good and the quality of the 6 1-3 hair actually feels really good. It is my first time using it and I really like it so far. Alright, so now we're gon na move on to style in the hair. I'M gon na use my hot comb just to comb that through make sure that hair is nice and flat and I'm gon na go in with some got to be free spur and I'm just gon na apply it onto my brush just to get rid of any Of the little frizz ease on the top - and I also put some of that on to a two brush just to try and create some little baby hairs. Baby hair is not really my thing like. I don't really know how to do them that well, so, let's just skip that part so guys I didn't apply this week on camera, because I have a detailed video on how I apply my wigs. However, I made a tiny little change to how I apply my wigs and that will be in my next hair video. I promise you guys, I'm gon na show you guys how got this week to look laid and I'm just gon na go in with a flat iron, so nothing special here just using a flat iron to straighten my hair, and I use some hair serum as well. Just to have it looking nice and silky, and that is a finished look you guys my hair is laid. I love how this turned out.
