Yes whips, I press report. He destroyed singing, of course, of course, Cheers. Oh, my god, person is singing no jamming. Today, I'm gon na vote for two different methods for naturally dyeing wigs and coitus touched my own hair, even though we're not dying with Mary guy wins. So this is the win. I'M gon na be dying right there. Alright, this just ain't gon na work, foldable gun. So you need really. I'M sorry, I'm sorry, but you can't be here. I know I'm sorry, don't sing from the living room you're! So silly! Oh! So this is the way we're gon na be dying. Today I got this from Lovejoy net. Was there an online cosplay supply company? This is their long golden cosplay wig. I know the names are really long because they're like character inspired, I tone I'll put a link in the description below. So this is the one. I got it's very long. It'S actually 38 inches long and I'm going to be using this for my honey line, cosplay. So it really has some natural differences in the wig. I don't know if you can tell, but it has some natural highlights and lowlights in it to kind of give it a more realistic look so to try to get that natural like dirty blonde color. Instead of this like lemon bright blonde color we're going to be dyeing it with tea and with coffee. So the first thing you're going to want to do is find a pot and fill it with enough water to fully submerge your lid and start boiling, the water. So, for the first month that I am using tea, this is going to give you a rather light and natural tone to it and I'm going to use one tea bag for every two inches of hair, so measure a wig and get out as much tea bags. As necessary and once your water is boiling, go ahead and add the tea bags, and I actually let them soak for about five minutes with the water consistently boiling go ahead and remove the teabags before you add the wig. That way, you don't have all this mess. Tangled up in your wig turn the heat down to a simmer and add the wig I let mine set for about 15 minutes how long your Inlet set is going to be how dark you're going to want the color to be the longer you set with the More consistent heat, the darker it's going to be, if you turn the heat off and only let it set for four or five minutes, it's going to be a lot lighter and a lot less noticeable. So it's up to you just keep, checking it and rechecking it and let it sit longer if you feel like the color needs to be darker once you're happy go ahead and remove the wig, but remember once the fibers are dry, the color is going to be Lighter than it is when it's wet now on to option two coffee, coffee, coffee table, coffee, okay, so I just choose to use a dark roast coffee for this because I figured the color would be darker. I don't actually know if that is true, but why not? I am also using a lot of it because I do want this wig to be of a natural darker blonde tone, rather than really pale blonde. I'M actually going to be grinding up about two cups worth of coffee. Boil your water once more and add your coffee grounds. I let the coffee boil in a separate pot for about five minutes and then strained it into another, bigger pot. That'S actually going to hold my wig once more go ahead and submerge your wig into the pot and let it sit as long as you like until you get the color that you're after indeed, this makes the beast miss. Oh dang. It make sure you rinse the wick very thoroughly after every time you diet, whether with tea or with coffee. I made this mistake after the coffee won and didn't really scrub it and I ended up having a little bit of fine ground stuck within the fibers. So really really try to rinse it out with cold water until it runs really clean and you don't find any coffee grounds or tea particles floating around in your wig, and I like to hang my wig outside to dry in the sunlight. But you can also use a hair dryer to speed up the process, so this is what it looks like dried out of the pot you can see. It is very crinkly and stuff from the heat it did set it. So I'm gon na go over the whole thing with a straightener, then show you the final look. This is the finished look of fluid after I've T dyed it and coffee dyed it. So you can see it's a very natural type of guide. It still looks like a blond color, but it's not as Ashley it's kind of more dirty. The top of the wig is rather thin. You can see the wefts kind of showing through, but I'm doing, honey-lemon with her outfit, so she's gon na have the helmet on. So it doesn't really matter the top of my wig. I just needed it to be the right length and I do like that. It is dual tone with the highlights and under lights to it and they still come through even after dyeing with tea or with coffee. I can still see the highlights and the lowlights that work came in the natural wig fibers. Overall, the wig is going to work really really well. For me, it's the right length. It'S pretty long. I might need to add some darker layers and, like the bottom half of it, because I feel like the underneath of honey-lemon hair is a lot darker than on the top, which is very natural for hair. But I can end up dying my way just a little bit darker for my personal cosplay, but as for the coffee and the tea dyeing, this is going to be about your outcome. So that's it for my wig dyeing tutorial today. If you like, cosplay another awesome, tutorial type things don't forget to like or subscribe to my channel, that's it for today. I will see you next Wednesday, fine bird, you better stay there here, Flying Wallendas, okay,

Evie Etherington: It’s currently nearly 2019, four years after this video was posted, so my comment is several years later than the others. However, I think that it shows how helpful a video can be if even after four years it’s helping people. I bought some synthetic extensions today that I was extremely excited about and need for a wedding in two days. Unfortunately however they were far too light and I was quite upset about it. However this technique made them my PERFECT colour and it took me all of about 10 minutes to do, amazing considering I need them for tomorrow. Thank you so much for this tutorial!

Ashley Jackson: I feel like his squawking is him actually making his own video lol

bananeboompje: This is the best tea dying wig I've come across so far, amazing! I was wondering. I have a really light orange wig and I would love to make it a bit darker looking with some orange/red colored tea. I know you only tried this on blonde, but would you think it would work on other light wigs as well? ^^

塔诺Jahsoka: Thank u so much! I've been trying all day to find how to tint-dye my bright red wig to a more natural brownish reddish. I'm definitely going to try this method Ps my mom had a cockatiel that looked just like yours

Graciemakasie Becker: The first minute of the video is the real bird people problems lol.

Jane: Can't wait to see your honey lemon cosplay! Love your costumes! They inspire me!

KingKeke: Oh o can't wait to see this cosplay come together. It's already looking good with just the hair

einbisschenmehroderweniger: Hey! Great Video! Can you still style the wig after tea dying it? You used heat, but what about hair spray / wax ? Does it matter which tea in particular I use, or does every tea work (would some sort of berry tea stain red, and does the wig remain this colour?) I hope I don't annoy with all of my questions :DIf anyone else has answers to them, I'd be really grateful! :)

Saoirse: Im so excited to see your honeylemon cosplay you look really like her!

Your Book of Memories: Great tutorial and awesome humor thanks for sharing ;)

Bianca: Are you going to make a video of how you make the armor as well? :)

blueberry shadows: i used this video to dye a white wig blonde for a bakugou katsuki cosplay and it helped so much thank you!!

Ragna Roaldset: this worked out perfectly for me! thanks

TheBunniesAreOnFire: nice way to dye a wig^^ not so much chemicals included, like the copic or ink way.

nightingalesdonotsing: May I ask, does the colour of the dye comes off over time or is there any method you use to secure the color in?

Emma Karlsson: can you use this method to make any wig darker?

Fiona Jacobs: I’m thinking of darkening my hair a little bit because I feel like it really complements my skin tone but I want to make sure it works

Darrell Tucker: How long did it take for your wig to come in? This is the first time I am using this site but I alway get nervous when I order from new sites!

Carisa A Solano: Your nails r sooooo adorable omg love them

Nina KH: Hi there, thx for the video, I have a question though, my wig has beautiful waves, does the hot water ruin the waves by any chance? thx

Shan B: I love that bird! <3 Soooo funny. :D

Lovejoynet Cosplay: Thank you for your share our Cosplay wig.

Carolyn Wilson: do you think you could make a video about your bird's story?

Expensive Girl:

satsuki122: is this painting method relevent to darker wigs such as light brown or brown??

Alyson Bourque: Your bird wants the spot light..! :-)

M Brigid P: Super cute bird

Erin Rose: Should you rinse out the tea before you do the coffee?

Johanna Guzman: Could you tell us what type of tea you used...that or I couldn't see the tea you used. I know camomile is to lighten hair and green tea darkens it. Tai tea makes a pink/organge tone and the best juice turns your hair red.

Chloe Bradley: Ahhhh your bid is so cute, so chirpy and happy

Carol Hardy: Just watched the new Supergirl six minute video tease on Nerdist.com...also on cbs.com.  Looks like she's a dingy blonde too.  AND that is not a circle skirt she's wearing.  teehee  Can't wait to see your cos come together and cool you can use it with other characters.

Salty: Would it smell heavily of coffee or tea?

Lady Grimly Reaper: How dark will it dye a wig?

LivelySkeletonVC: I love your bird lol

Cutiepie Beautify: But there was not any change even u have dip it in hot drinks...will it work in our hair as we apply in cold drink

Game Phone2: How hot does the boiling water has to be?? Update: Didn't work at all:(

VividAnarchy: Could different coloured herbal teas possibly add different tints to the wig?

Breah Saldana: Yes younger!!

Becca M: I would think that putting a synthetic wig in water that hot would melt the fibers. If the wig has curl or wave I would think it would take out the curl/wave. Does it hurt the fibers in any way?

danshifackao: won't submerging the wig in hot water like that melt the fibers?

Claudia Guerra: Disculpa Como se llama lo qe utilizaste para hacer el antifaz de harley quiin

Sara Moore: Can u use instant coffee ☕??

Sophie gymnast10: Does it wash out though?

Rim El Alaoui: Is your wig heat resistant?

Life of a kid cosplayer: oh good, some honey lemon tea!

lily pennvellyn: subbed ^_^

Breah Saldana: Sandra Bullock look alike!!

Neon Lights Cosplay: omFG I COSPLAY GOGO!!!!!!!!!! BE MY FRIEND 0U0
