Hi there wig lover: This is Heather from Cysterwigs.com.. Today, I'm bringing you a review of another Jon Renau wig.. This one is called Julia and the color on Julia is one of actually it is my most popular blonde shade.. This is 12FS8, also known as Shaded Praline.. Now that 12 in the number code throws a lot of people off.. I get emails from people all the time asking me or from people who were under the impression that this is a light brown shade.. Even though the base color is a light golden brown. Don'T get it twisted? This is overall going to be the effect of a rooted blonde. That'S darker at the nape.. It will definitely not give you the overall effect of a light brown color.. As you can plainly see, it's definitely got enough blonde in it to make this a blonde. Very, very pretty color.. As I said, the base is a 12, and so that is going to be a very beautiful light. Golden brown color.. On top of that, you've got a 24, which is a medium golden blonde. You'll get all that in this with a medium golden brown root., I get people all the time who think they need a four in order to get that really dark. Root. Nuh uh, (, laughs, ). This is an eight. Even with that eight, because the contrast is so drastic between the blonde and the root. It looks plenty dark., So there you go., Sometimes you'll be a-okay with that number. Eight root. Just throwing that one out there.. This is a very beautiful cut that has lots of razored ends.. You can do a lot to wear it in a bunch of different ways.. This wig will require a little bit of training.. As you can see, I'm struggling with this top part. I'm going to take a wig-friendly brush and kind of comb it back for the moment. Training. A wig is a snap.. All you really need to do is maybe wash it or maybe soak it in water overnight and then let it dry. Or you can just kind of brush it back and brush it back and after you wear it for a few days, it will just do it. Or you can have a bang cut into it.. You can have lots of styling possibilities with a wig that has this kind of cap construction., Namely lace, front, mono, top. I'll get into that in just a moment, a little bit more in detail.. I love all these razored ends.. I think that's very, very flattering.. I love the way this kind of comes in like this.. This cut reminds me of Madison from Envy a little bit., Except this does not have the bang.. You would have to have the stylist cut. The bang into it, if you like., I love all of this., It frames the face very nicely.. I think it's very slenderizing.. I love any cut that will do that for me., Very, very pretty.. Let me turn to the side, so you can see some of that. Texture., As you can see, by the way that I've parted it and the way it's kind of coming down that it is kind of falling into place, the way that it looks in the picture with that kind of wispyness off to the side. Very, very cute.. Here'S this side., You can part this wig in any direction. You want simply because it does have that full hand-tied, monofilament top. It'll, look pretty realistic, no matter how you part, it. I'll, show you that in just a second. Here is the back. I'm going to go ahead and push this hair back for you. Kind of swish. It around gently., Very beautiful cut.. Let'S see the bang on. This is actually just a really long layer that can be swept off to the side.. You can even tuck it behind your ear. If you want to and kind of go like that., It's nine inches, so it is long enough that it will tuck behind the ear very very easily. As you just saw there., The sides are ten and a half inches. So that's this here.. The nape is ten and a half inches so from the bottom down. This layer is an additional 10.5 inches. To me. It comes right around the breastbone area, so it is a longish wig, though some people might qualify it as a mid-length. To me. I think this is long simply because I don't have a neck and it does come to about here.. It is definitely not an ultra-long or anything like that.. The weight on this is less than four ounces. It'S 3.5. So it's quite comfortable on.. The hair is wonderful.. The texture on this Jon Renau hair is baby baby fine.. It moves like a dream.. It just feels really nice.. Now it doesn't have that kind of waxy antistatic coating that some brands, have. Noriko wigs, for instance, come with an antistatic coating which, after you, wash the wig, maybe once or twice it's gone.. If the Jon Renau wigs have that it's very minimal, because the fiber feels quite natural, but it also feels very luxurious.. It'S a very beautiful wig fiber., It's probably my favorite.. I love Jon Renau wigs, which is one of the reasons why I review so many of them.. I would like to also point out that the lace front on this is quite nice.. Let me zoom in. ( zoom ) sound effects.. Now, because this is a rooted shade - and I have this pushed up a little bit, so you can see the knotting, it does look kind of dramatic. Here. Let me untuck that, from behind my ear and kind of push this forward., That's what the lace front looks like when it's pushed really far up on my forehead.. If I push it back to my hairline, that's a little too far here we go it blends right in, as you can see there., This wig is available in lots of non-rooted shades as well.. So if you don't want the knots to appear quite so dark just go for a non-rooted color.. I really think this is a very cute wig.. It doesn't cover all my sides, completely.. You can see where the wig actually ends right here on the sides., But because my bio-hair matches this rooting almost perfectly that it just kind of looks like it's part of the wig. Do keep that in mind.. That will be the case, sometimes with wig cap.. I'M gon na go ahead and take this wig off, so you can see what the cap construction looks. Like.. Let me adjust my wig cap really quickly.. A lot of people. Ask me what kind of wig caps I use, because they like this big, thick band, here., They're, Jon, Renau brand, and I sell them in individuals, and I also sell them in bulk on my website.. If you buy any of my clearance items, I throw one in for free with the purchase.. If you ever order from my clearance, wigs and wonder ,'', Why the heck did I get a wig cap ?'' I throw in a free, Jon, Renau wig cap with every clearance item you purchase from my site.. It'S a nice little bonus and it's my little way of saying thank you for coming to my site.. Let'S see here., This is a customer wig.. She was very, very nice in letting me review this, since the Julia was one that I haven't had opportunity to review. Before., I'm so glad she did, because it's a really pretty wig and it's one that doesn't really get reviewed a whole lot.. I love the layering and I love the cap construction on it.. It has this really lovely lace front.. It also has a monofilament top, both of which are completely hand tied.. It has soft felt around the perimeter of the monofilament top, as well as a tiny bump of permatease. Kind of like Gisele has a similar, tiny, tiny little patch of permatease right at the very crown. I'll show you on the cap itself.. It is virtually impossible to spot the permatease because, unlike a lot of brands with their permatease, unlike a lot of wigs that rely on the permatease for their shape, this wig has very very small hairs in the permatease.. It'S almost undetectable.. It'S such a small little crescent patch. You really have to hunt for it to find it. It's open-wefted sides and back.. It has soft felt here at the ear tabs as well as here at the nape.. It has these little velcro adjusty things.. I love Jon Renau's cap construction. It'S pretty much. The best., Like I mentioned earlier. The knots on these darker-colored wigs can occasionally appear to be darker than some people prefer.. I showed you that at the beginning. It doesn't mean that the knots are huge because in my estimation they don't really look all that big. Jon Renau's pretty good about that.. But it's definitely something to point out that, especially with these rooted wigs, the knots might look. Dark. ( laughs ) Because the hair is dark. Here is the bottom of Julia.. Look at all that layering.. Just such a pretty pretty wig. Lots and lots of layering. Lots of layering here at the sides as well. As you can see, it's got this short top layer in the back and around to the sides.. That'S what that 10.5 inches is. As it goes down. It gets longer, but still with all these really pretty layers. Gorgeous wig and once the owner trains, this it's gon na, be beautiful.. Let me go ahead and put this back on.. The cap is snug, but that's because it's monofilament., I don't find it to be painful and I don't find it to be uncomfortable.. I have a pretty large head.. It just fits really close to the scalp.. That'S actually how a lot of monofilament wigs fit., I'm actually gon na part this down the center now, so you can see what it looks like with the center part. Or at least close to a center part., As you can see, as I've mentioned before. In other videos, I'm not pulling the hair. I'm trying very hard to make sure that the hair is just barely being grazed by this brush., That is, to help preserve the integrity of the fibers.. When I part it down the middle, you can really see how that permatease plays a part in the shape of the wig.. It gives it a little bit of body right here. Like a little bump., It's so slight.. Even if I use my fingers to try to hunt for that permatease, it's virtually impossible to find., (, laughs ). I know it's there and I'm looking for it on purpose. If you're really permatease averse. I wouldn't worry too much about the permatease on this style or the Gisele.. It'S going to be really difficult for you to find that permatease. Very, very, very pretty wig.. It'S such a pretty style. There, you go.! This has been Julia by Jon Renau in the color 12FS8, which is certainly a blonde shade that has some beautiful rooting and a light. Golden-Brown base.
