Hey guys, it's your girl, ken gonyama, popularly known as kayong stalin. In today's video, i have got for you, this 24 beautiful honey, blonde wig from nadula. It comes with this cute styling brush and comb, a pair of earrings and a pair of lashes in the box. Now i got a lot of requests to show you guys how i bleach and pluck my knots, so i'm going to be showing you how i go about this process right from the beginning right up to the end. Okay, cool! So please note that all of these steps are optional. This is what the wig comes like from straight from the box. So if you're interested in elevating your weight game, then i suggest you do this, but you don't really have to because the wig does come pre-plucked, but i just simply feel like it's not enough. Okay cool. So i got this highlight refill kit from clicks. This is what i usually use to bleach my wigs, i'm just going to go in and mix this up. I only have a little bit left. So that's all! That'S all i actually needed, but it would have been nice if i had more, but this still worked so i'm going to mix the developer with the little powder - and i am just going to go straight in and apply it on the wig. Now you need to make sure that this mixture is quite thick so that it doesn't seep through under your wig. However, if you are concerned that it will and it will damage your wig - maybe just go in with some got to be glue spray on your wig. Just to protect the rest of the hair - and it works perfectly i'll - do that in my next video. I just didn't really feel like i needed to do that with this video make sure that the whole all of the hair is covered. As you can see - and you can see, it's like a really thin layer and it's quite thick as well, so no chances of it seeping through okay. So i'm going to leave this on for about 15 or 20 minutes, and then i'm going to go in and rinse it off make sure that you've got all of the bleach off again. I'M gon na go in with some violet crush um, just like a purple. Shampoo, because i find that sometimes when you bleach the knots it can give you like an orange sort of yellow, like brassy tone. So i like to go in with the purple shampoo and conditioner just to make sure that the color of my knots remains neutral. And i'm gon na wash this wig with moroccan oil. I use moroccan oil products on all my wigs. I just find that it makes them so smooth and sleek, especially for colored wigs. I find that these need a lot more treatment and you know great products in order to make sure that they don't have any frizz or any just damaged files. You know what i mean. I absolutely love moroccan oil. You can check them out. They'Ve got a wide range of products, i'm using the hydration range, because i find that when hair is dry and not like fully hydrated, it's more prone to split ends and frizz. So i find that hydration, the hydration range really really works works. For me. They'Ve also got a really great smoothing range, so, for example, if you've got damaged hair that you really want to smooth out, you can go in and buy that range, so just check them out. They are a bit pricey but they're so absolutely worth it okay. So i'm going to take this wig directly from the sink and put it on a canvas head and a tripod stand which i got from hair castle essentials. I find that when the hair is wet, it's a lot easier to work with in terms of plucking. Again, i'm just going to pin this down and just pluck i've never really done a plucking video, because i just find that it's pretty self-explanatory, but a few tips. I can give you in order to get the best plaque and to be more efficient with your plucking. Just grab a bit of the hair and pull it back so that pressure and it's a lot easier to pull on the hair when you've applied that pressure of pulling it and always have a comb in hand. So you can comb out the black hair and you can you have a clear vision of what's going on and what your wig looks like in order to prevent you from over plucking your wig. This is a real thing. I'M gon na zoom in so you guys can see, but it's fairly straightforward. It'S really good. Just get a good tweezer. I'Ve got like a really nice heavy duty, one which gives me a lot of control and again see i am using the comb and pulling on the hair. While i pluck - and i feel like this is just the best work method and it works for me. It also really helps if you've got a light surface under your wig. So before i had the canvas head, i would use a towel like a white towel or like a light. Colored, towel and i'd put it under the wig, and that would show me like how much hair i've plucked what the hair will look like and um. You know just give me a bit of control, but it's pretty self-explanatory, so you guys can just have a look at that. Okay, so i usually plug in stages and phases. I always go from left to right and then i'll pluck it in the center and then when i'm done with that, i'll always open up like a line between the first second or third row from the beginning of the hairline and continue to pluck from there. This again prevents me from over plucking the wig and making me look bold when i have it on and again same method pull on the hair, you can even go onto the other side and pluck from that side, if you feel like there's still a lot more Hair but just if you watch closely it's going to make like a lot more sense, but that's just my logic for doing this right now. This doesn't really work initially because there's just too much hair so pluck first, with all the hair face backwards, and then you can open up the line and continue plucking. I also go in with a bottle of water and conditioner just to make sure that the hair stays wet, because it's a lot easier to pluck when the hair is wet without breaking or pulling on your lace and yeah, it's pretty pretty straightforward. As you can see, i don't know how to explain this to you, but i hope you've learned a few tips and tricks. So, okay, so once i'm done, plucking i'll go in with a hair dryer with some hot air just to push the hair back and give me a clear indication if the wig still needs more plucking or if you know, i'm all good open up a part. You know see what that looks like just play around with the hair and um see if i need to pluck some more always go in with some heat protectant, because this is when i'm going to start start styling and blowing on the wig. I got mine from hair castle essentials on instagram, so you can check them out, they're, really great, with styling tools and um yeah. If you're someone that's really really like interested in the wig styling, then i suggest you check them out as well, because they're quite affordable. I'M going to go in with some mousse just to make sure that my hair is laid, and it maintains that style and again a hair dryer just to flatten out and retain that style um that the hair was in also a quick way to drive the hair. Sometimes like i don't really like that wet mousse look and that shiny mousse look and i find that using a hair, dryer sort of eliminates that, but also really keeps your hair flat and sleek i'm gon na go in with my ghd styler. This is a straightener. It is from ghd, quite pricey. You can use any other styler again notice, i'm using the comb method where i pull on the hair. Like i comb the hair while straightening it. I find that this really really helps lay down the cuticles and gives you a really nice straightened. Look! Okay, so now i'll be cutting the lace. I always just cut straight down the middle, and this is a step. That'S very important and a lot of people get wrong myself included. It is always important to cut not too close to the hairline. That is what will give you that what lace effect as well sort of cut and zigzag jagged motion as opposed to a straight cut. It just looks more natural when it's on your head again, you can see here i cut too close to the lace and it was giving me problems but yeah, it's quite random and jagged, as opposed to straight, and this is what will look perfect on your hair. So i'm going to pop this wig right on my head and i'm going to flip the lace over so that it's facing upright and i'm going to apply some powder just to get this lace to blend in better with my skin. You can use foundation for this, but sometimes i feel like foundation is a bit heavy and it can make the lace a bit more obvious, but you can use foundation. I just prefer powder. I'M going to go in with some go spawn glue again, i'm going to smear this on and make sure that i spread it like quite evenly. I was gon na wear this wig for more than one day, so i added a bit more glue, but if you're gon na wear it for just one day and you're gon na take it off, then you can add less glue so that the clear the glue Lays clear it doesn't really matter to be honest, but it looks a lot more natural when there's less glue. It'S just that you need to work a bit more faster, but it does dry clear. So it's nothing to worry about as long as it is spread out. Quite thinly, you shouldn't have any problems. The ghost bond dries quite quickly, so i would advise working with half of your head first, as opposed to applying the glue the whole head, because you'll find that by the time you're like sticking on the other side, it's dry already so just make sure to press This down with your fingers and yeah, it's pretty straight forward. I absolutely love ghost bond, it's not messy at all, and it is quite strong, i'm going to add a bit more glue on the sides of my hair, because i just find that this side, this part of the head has like is more prone to flapping and The wig lifting so i always add a bit more glue and yeah. It looks, looks good right, okay, cool clean up, i'm gon na go in with a cotton pad and just some rubbing alcohol, which i got from this cam and just clean up this glue. While it is still like white and easy to remove, i'm gon na go in with some got to be spray again. I wanted this wig to stay on for days, so i just found that you know it was important for me to add that got to be, and then i'm gon na wrap this up with an elastic band. You don't have to add, got to be spray here, but if you want, you know a more secure, um lay, then you know you can always go in and do that. I just want to add emphasis on the cleanup. The cleanup is so so important because if you don't remove this shiny glue, while you can, when you do your makeup, you'll find that your makeup will look kind of weird makeup. Looks so weird on glue so always make sure that you've got a clean canvas before you start doing your makeup, i'm going to go in with some mousse just to get like a further lay okay, i'm going to do some baby hair. So i just tie the hair up to make sure that i can see exactly what i'm doing and i'm going to cut a bit of a bit of the side of the hair. Add some gel and style as desired girl. Okay, so i'm just gon na play around with this wig, i was excited to see how i can style it and things like that, but i eventually went with a straight look, but anyway, um yeah, that's pretty much. How i go about bleaching, my knots, i'm plucking. My wig, it's pretty straightforward, but again always take your time with it again like when you're bleaching, your knots and plucking your wig, it's like you could ruin it so always make sure that you take your time with it and yeah. Thank you so much for watching. Thank you so much for watching this video. If you do like it, please give it a huge thumbs up. Leave me some love in the comments and check out all of my thanks.
