Fluffy Wig Tutorial

After many requests, here's a short tutorial on how I style all my fluffy wigs! I apologize there isn't super clear footage of what I'm doing, but hopefully you get the idea!

Hey guys welcome to my fluffy wig styling tutorial first things. First, we're gon na need a good face. Wig. The two wigs I recommend are either artists, Hansel or epic cosplays Apollo, I'm using the Hansel here, and it is in the color coffee. This is from their silky line and I don't recommend using those try to use the classic fibers if you're gon na go for Arta all right. The first thing I do is: I need to trim down the length of the wig. The Hansel is such a versatile wig, so it tends to be on the longer side, and for this I want it to be quite a bit shorter. I'M gon na be using a combination of thinning, shears, regular hair, shears and razor combs that I got off Amazon and I'm just gon na start hacking away at the wig. Until I get a length that I'm comfortable with you once you've gotten the wig to roughly the length, you want we're gon na start, refining everything I'm gon na, be starting in the bangs. As that's where I usually start, my wigs, I'm pretty comfortable guessing the length of my bangs on a wig head, but for somebody who's newer at cutting wigs, it's easier to put it on your own head. So you make sure you get the length right. This wig style naturally wants to clump and form shapes, so we're gon na use that to our advantage, I'm gon na pick out a piece trim. It put it into shape, spritz it with a little bit of hairspray and immediately hit it with a hairdryer. After every single spray of hairspray, you always want to blow-dry it, since I'm not going off of any specific design. I just start forming little hair pieces to frame my face the way I like it. Otherwise, if you're using a reference, you would be creating spikes and curls to fit a character. When I get to places like the top, I tend to trim the hair down more decree, even smaller curls. I press them against my hand to make a curl. I'M sorry. This didn't get into frame. I wasn't really paying attention when I was filming as I'm going through this entire process. You'Ll notice, I'm constantly trimming the wig every time. I pick out a new spike to form. I trim it to length this also cleans up the overall length of the wig, while making sure the spikes are nice and uniform. Finally, after a little while, you should get something that looks similar to this. This isn't fully complete, as it still needs some trimming in the back, but it's like 3:30 in the morning and I'm kind of tired. Hopefully, though, you get a general idea of how to style a wig like this, and it can help you, if you're trying to achieve a similar style once again.
