Hi everyone welcome back to my channel and in today's video, as you can tell by the title, it is going to be how to lighten and brighten your hair without bleach or high-lift, colors or basically without chemicals. This is how to lighten your hair with basic products that most of you will probably have in your house or kitchen right now, all right now, I do have to say this isn't for someone that say is brunette and you're going to get this blonde like that, That you can't do naturally with the botannical and natural products. It'S just it's not gon na happen. So obviously, you'd be the judge of how much lightness you really want to bring to your hair, but I'm gon na start with the one that will give you the least. So this is basically, if you just kind of want a little bit of shimmer to your hair, and that is with lemon, and I know that I've touched on this and done a chelating video in the past and chelating is amazing. I definitely recommend lemon juice. Lemon juice has been known to clarify and brighten everything. Basically, it will brighten your nails. You know people that have been coloring their nails for a very long time and their nails start to look yellow robbing them with a little bit of a lemon juice will absolutely brighten and whiten your nails in just the same way. It will do so with your hair, so a great way to do. It is really to just spritz the lemon on wet hair kind of live. Rub it through. Let it sit for about five minutes, then rinse and shampoo, your hair and condition as normal or another way, which I used to do this religiously in high school. And I think that that is why my ends were so light and naturally - and I have a video on my basically hair story - I will link that below if you haven't seen that yet. But basically I would do this religiously in high school and I think that my hair never looked brassy. What I would recommend is doing 1/2, a cup of lemon juice in a spray bottle and then a half a cup of water. So it's just slightly diluted. You can keep that in your shower for a couple of days, and so what I like to do was after I shampooed my hair. I would spritz this in the hair. Let it sit for about five minutes. Then I would rinse that out and follow with really really hydrating mask. This definitely isn't bad for the hair. I think we're always known to think that lemon is very acidic and it is, but once it comes in contact with the human body actually becomes alkaline, and so I may actually restore the pH balance in your hair and leaving your hair with incredible luster and shine. Also, a little scientist in case you don't have lemons or don't want to use lemons. You can definitely use apple, cider, vinegar. I personally like the smell of the lemon water better, but do know that using apple cider vinegar, it will not leave any smell on your hair at all. In fact, it actually neutralizes odors little side, a tip as well, while doing laundry, if you do have say like beach, towels or something that's kind of been sitting for a few days when you throw them in the washer, throw in about a half cup or a Cup of vinegar and your towels will come out so fluffy and smelling so good in cosmetology school. We'Re always told to treat our hair like a fiber like a very fine fiber. Basically, like cashmere number, two is chamomile, and this is one of the other steps that I would do in high school, so in combination with the lemon water, I would also brew like chamomile tea, and you can use a couple of teabags I'll just make about like Two cups of tea with like two or three teabags: you want the tea to be pretty strong, so you could either add the lemon just straight to that mixture, or you can do the chamomile alone. I think, for better results. I would definitely mix of those two and the trick for these two is not waiting until you have orangie brassy hair and expecting these tips necessarily to like get you out of it. But by doing these tips that will definitely prevent you from getting brassy in the future. So just like the lemon water, you would keep that in your shower and just spritz on the hair and again you can keep this for a couple of days in your shower. Sometimes what I like to do too, is, if I know that, I'm about to shower, I would just spritz the hair with that and saturate it pretty well and just leave it on. For you know, good 5-10 minutes then jump in the shower rinse it off and then follow with shampoo and conditioner, and I think this is a really good combination, because the chamomile, oh, is almost like soothing where's. The lemon can be a little bit more astringent. So those two combined are great, alright, so number three is baking soda and, if you like by now, people know too that baking soda can be used for cleaning for brightening. It is very non-toxic. It also has a no smell people, use it to brighten their teeth. So an amazing way is to just bring some in the shower, just simply placing some in the palm of your hand, getting your hand, wet and just almost creating a paste. You can start applying it to like the ends of your hair and massaging it as you come up higher closer to the scalp and then again leaving it on the hair for just a couple of minutes. They look absolutely like Brighton, your blonde and actually leave it. Feeling really nice and again, you can use this in place of shampoo or you can follow with your favorite, shampoo and conditioner any time I do one of these like more natural products. I always like to follow with a really hydrating mask. I personally love the deep conditioning mask by Monat. I think it delivers the most intensive hydration without leaving the hair heavy, which is so important to me, because, right after you've, basically really cleansed and clarified the hair, you want something that is going to balance the moisture back into the hair. But you also don't want to add a ton of gunk both to your scalp and to the rest of your hair, because that was just completely defeat. What you had just done to your hair, but of course you can follow with any mask or favorite conditioner. You have at home now for number four, and this is the one that's going to deliver the most results, and that is hydrogen peroxide. One of the best ways to add it to the hair is to put it in a dark, little spray bottle and just spray. It all over the hair another way to do it is to just grab a cotton ball soaked it, and then you can rub it, especially if you want it in specific area, say if you have highlights, and you kind of just want to brighten that area, adding Hydrogen peroxide to the hair, even dark hair - will lighten it. You do have to be careful, though, because it is basically the most mildest bleach. You could basically do on the hair, so it will brighten dark hair. But you do have to be careful because your brown hair could start to look reddish or a little bit brassy, and that's just because any time that you bleach or your remove pigment from brown hair. You are going to expose the underlying colors and brown, and one of the main colors and brown hair is red. So say if you have a balayage or you have highlights. Basically, if you have kind of a more contrasting color, I would definitely avoid putting the hydrogen peroxide on your darker pieces. But now, if you do have a darker brown, hair or virgin hair - and you do want to kind of lighten up the ends a bit spraying on a little bit of hydrogen peroxide and sitting out in the Sun, it's basically I'm sure you guys have all heard Of like Sun Inn products, this is basically like the main ingredient that is kind of getting you to that lighter hair, it's actually an antiseptic. So there's like a product that is super safe on the body on the skin and on the hair. So again, it can also be used to brighten your teeth. I used to be addicted to like teeth, whitening strips and teeth whitening anything, and I think I did it so much that that I did end up ruining a lot of the enamel in my teeth, and I know that I just had to like kind of step Back a little bit from that, the people often still ask me like: what do you use to keep your teeth? White and honestly, that's what I use so obviously brushing twice a day, but then after I brush my teeth, I just apply it a little bit of hydrogen peroxide to my tooth brush and just brush for like an extra two minutes, and I promise you see, results Right away, and basically what it's doing, it's not likely in deep in your teeth and like actually whitening them, but it is removing surface stains, and if this is something that you're doing on a daily basis, it really does remove kind of that build-up. Just from that day and then really maintains your teeth to be really really nice and way and again, you can use a combination of all of these things. Of course, I wouldn't do them all in the same day, and I did do this last week on my hair and the next day. All my clients were like, oh my god like. Would you do to your hair? Now it's like all it was was ingredients that I had in my own kitchen, and that is it guys. So I know that a lot of you around this time of year are thinking of lightening and brightening your hair, so I figured this would be at least an amazing way to get started, and who knows you might just get to the blonde that you have been Wanting to go to just by using these simple household items so yeah, I hope this video helps. Thank you guys so much for watching and I'll see next video by

Patricija Fijan: Is there anyone else who had really beautiful blonde hair as a child, but as they got older their hair got more and more dirty blonde and now they miss their original blonde hair

Marie-Louise Johansson: 1) 0:38 Lemon juice side tip) 2:28 Apple cider vinegar 2) 3:09 Camomille 3) 4:20 Baking soda 4) 5:39 Hydrogen peroxide 5) missing

Smirnoff Biedermann: The older I get the darker my blond goes wich makes me really sad but now I thankfully can keep my hair little lighter through the years

Cora: Hey Sylvia, this video was incredibly helpful! Do you have any suggestions for how to tone darker roots? I want to grow out my blonde hair but I'd prefer to keep my blonde ends bright and cool-toned while cooling the tone of my roots and the dye I used to blend my roots!

Marley And maggie: If you want it fast use hydrogen peroxide and baking soda and mix and leave it in until it dries 20-30mins it makes ur hair lighter in a day fast

Empress Lilith: I love love love your channel! You explain things so perfectly so that those who know nothing about hair (like me lol) can understand...can you give tips on covering grays in the baby hairs? I just started getting grays and they are coming in all in my baby hairs and so they aren’t covered by my regularly scheduled color that I get every 8-10 weeks and I’m not sure why...do they just fall out and grow in faster than the longer hairs? It’s so weird and I want to hide them and plucking isn’t gonna work lol please help meee

Jennifer Miranda: Great tips as always. I have also heard that you could lighten your teeth with mashed strawberries. Never tried it, but interesting to know there are so many natural options out there. Not sure about the damage though since these things are acidic.

drkluttz: Thank you for explaining everything so well! I really like all of your videos! Your hair and makeup looks amazing!!

dms_25: Thanks Silvia... very helpful and great tips. I gargle/ mouthwash with hydrogen peroxide after I brush my teeth like every other day or after I floss... Equal parts of water and hydrogen peroxide... it helps me with eliminating mouth odors also. It does helps with whitening and healing any sores in the mouth for me.

Meg Kampen: Lemon juice is still bleach and yes will damage your hair. You might use 3% hydrogen peroxide which will lighten it more. I am a hairdresser by trade and lemon juice is damaging and drying to your hair especially when you do it repeatedly. The same with hydrogen peroxide. Use it once a month at the most and leave on for a hour. Spray it on clean dry hair, comb it through and cover your head with a plastic cap. It will work better if you sit in the sun. This is for blondes whose hair has turn to a dark blonde.

rat: Anyone else wanting to dye their hair for coronacation but can’t go to the store to get bleach??

Janie Miller: This really works for hair with dark color on hair to lighten it. I had toner on hair it colored lavender on top of my head. Used lemon and conditioner and it came right out with waiting 20 minutes. Best 20 minutes I used. Love it give 5 stars.

Flora Green: - no brown to blond (easy) • lemon juice (brighten) nails, hair (rum in, wash out), mask • After Shampoo, Spray hair with (1:1 water, Lennon juice) set for 5 minutes, rise out • vinegar 1 c for washing (fluffy towels afterwards) • baking soda (to ends of hair, feel nice) • Follow afterwards with moister/ mask • hydrogen products (be careful) • sun in productions for tanning

Marla Robinson: I wish dark hair didn't always turn brassy.

Erika Alise: So going to try these Love your videos you’re gorgeous

ivonne ramos: i always love ur videos very helpful!! personally i do the lemon treatment by your recommendation on previous videos it really works Thank you!!!!

Desi Curls: would the lemon / baking soda help break down permanent hair dye? Thanks for all the tips! Love your videos!

Anne A: Can’t wait to try some of these (again), it’s been so long since those Sun In days of leisure with no real problems lol Also, what is the next step in the Monat system ? Do I purchase through you or do you establish me as a seller under your name ? Love the products!!!

Isa Here: I have dark-greyish hair, and want either a blonde or extremely light caramel-brown colour. I definitely don’t want to bleach because my hair’s been struggling, and dry in the scalp as well sensitive at times. So I was wondering if anyone had advice on which method mentioned would work best, or if they have anything personally that they can recommend for me to do to achieve what was mentioned above? I’ve been looking for a solution for ages, and my hair-stylists always say “You should bleach it” but I know I can’t

Emma Sheppard: You should do makeup tutorials too. Love how natural and beautiful your makeup is. I'm so fed up with my hair lately, even purple shampoo will only lighten the top, the underneath of my hair is starting to look almost ginger toned

lisa kendall: Hi Elle, love your advice and experience. A while back I watched video of certain mixture I think of lemon juice, baking soda n dawn dish soap...it worked amazing. I have colored my own hair for yrs n starting using the T18 after I cap it n hair must be changing cause I had orange in it. I just re did me hair n it has orange tones, HELP...And ty

Beck Cetera: This wasn't specified (from what I heard) in the video, but does this also work (and/or work as well) for natural blondes? I have NEVER dyed my hair and I am strawberry-blonde as an adult (platinum blonde as a child up until age 12) and now since I don't see the daytime sun (work) it's tough to bring my blonde out naturally during the warmer months.

Willow FlowerChild: I have naturally very light platinum cool blonde hair and in the last two years since I moved to a new place it’s suddenly going dull and brassy orangey tone which I’ve never had in my life it looks like it’s from the minerals and buildup in the water so I’ve gone back to washing my hair with boiled water that I boil for 25 minutes and then let cool and I tried her recommendation in the video of 50% lemon juice and 50% water I sprayed it on my entire head so it was wet and I let it sit for 10 minutes and blow dried it while I did that, and then I put on a deep conditioning mask after shampooing and Let that mask sit for a good 30 minutes because I do have dry hair and this completely took out every last bit of brassy orange in my hair. my hair is healthy and shiny and platinum blonde again - so thank you so much this definitely works

Tracey Lynn: YAY!!!!! I love all your tips!!! Thank you Silvia!!!

Trina Gallagher: No one talks about the perils of natural redheads! The most platinum highlights don’t eliminate that brassy hue. But I’m gonna try these on my freshly highlighted hair!

Kristinadk: What a very awesome and informative video. I've noticed that about white vinegar though...and that's the only thing I use, (diluted with water) to wash my floor tiles. It doesn't leave any streaks and the smell eventually goes away within a few minutes

Dottie Pinto: Thank you for this video,it was very helpful

Dottie Pinto: Thank you for this video, very helpful

Bmore Blondie: With the lemon the best way for it to work it take lemons an water more lemon than water an put it in a spray bottle an spray it all over your hair an then sit out in the sun an as it drys just keep spraying it to keep it wet/damp an it gives you a way way better result than doing it in the shower

Sapphire: I feel like she would be awesome at ASMR videos!!! Girl your hair is amazing!!!

La Stefita: Cool tips! What did you use as your eyeshadow? It is quite lovely ❤️

Rebecca Blair: Hi Silvia! I need your help! I have very fine thin hair & it's pretty long. I blow dry it to get a lot of volume at the roots, then I started using a hot straightener flat brush instead of a typical flat iron. Usually the day I do my hair it's nice & voluminous but my problem is the second, third day hair. That's when the static electricity attacks my hair & of course my hair goes flat as a pancake against my head! I should mention I use Briogeo Rosarco Milk reparative leave in conditioning spray & Briogeo Rosarco blow dry perfection & heat protectant crème on soaking wet hair, but not close to my roots, then I wrap my hair in an Aquis hair turban. My theory is that using the products on soaking wet hair will avoid getting too much product that'll weigh my hair down & cause it to look greasy. I use a deep conditioner on my hair about once or twice a month & my hair brush is a Wet Brush. I believe the static is caused by dry air & dry hair, correct? It gets worse when I brush my hair & I don't kno how to stop my brush from getting that static! I don't want to use a fabric softener sheet because of all the waxes & chemicals in them. I'm scared to use an oil as that'll weigh my hair down & cause greasy roots even if I don't put it super close to them. I also stay away from all types of silicone, parabens etc. My first question is, what can I do to prevent/get out the static from my brush &/or hair? My second question is what type of product can I use at the roots to give volume for more then the first day? I hate when products make my roots sticky, tangled, greasy... Should I try a mousse at my roots? Will a mousse product make my hair more prone to static? Am I doing anything else wrong? Should I use a different brush on dry hair that isn't made of plastic to cut down the static? What type of brush bristles should I use to avoid static & that'll be gentle on my delicate hair?? Sorry my question is super long. I'm just fed up with my static, flat & greasy hair & I'm desperate to find something that'll help it look better. I hope you or someone else can help me out & steer me in the right direction!! Thank you!

Sabrina Stovall: Great tips as always !! My favorite beautician on you tube !!! Love ya girl you look stunning as always ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Blessedpb: Well thought out and informative. Very simply explained from such a beautiful young woman. Thank you for being a huge blessing! :^) p

Sarah Stroud: I’m doing the lemon thing tonight! You are an amazing hairdresser!!

Nina Becejac: How long do you leave hydrogen peroxide on your hair?? Thanks for amazing DIYs!! You are great!! :D

FreeMe Life: If you haven't, would you mind doing a going grey video. I dont want to continue to color it but also the demarcation line I feel is going to be pretty bad. I just really appreciate you sharing all of your knowledge and heart with us.

Beautiful Waterfalls: What if you like the brassy color it turns from first bleaching? I know I'm weird but it just goes so well with my skin tone. Idk why lol. It actually brightens my skin tone and makes me look younger. I'm not a fan of the ashier. I like white blonde. Just not ashy. Golden is pretty! I'm not a red hair person but I guess I like more natural gingery. My hair is golden brassy now. I'm thinking about putting dark golden brown and white blonde streaks in it. I really appreciate all the wonderful information you share for free. My mother was a hair dresser in the 70's and did not know half the things you know. Although she did have some good home remedies for things I use sometimes. I will be trying the lemon juice!

uptick 888: Sylvia can you help those of us with grey/white hair to make it look more platinum-like and pretty?

Danikah Smith: can you do a video of you getting your hair done. I know you've done a few things as home touch ups but can you do a whole salon process please!! you're awesome thank you for everything!!!

Peyton: can you do this on growing out roots? how does this affect already platinum hair? my hair is like 80% platinum and i want to go as light as possible but just started my curly journey :(

ᔕᗩᖇᗩᕼ ᗩ: I have dark brunette but when I was younger I had natural blonde tips because I was always in the sun. When I was younger I hated it because when people asked if I bleached it, I would say no and they would say I’m lying. I cut all the blonde off but no I regret it so much. When I looked back at the photos my hair looked so good. I really want the blonde tips back.

RAECHOFFICIAL: How long should I leave the hydrogen peroxide spray on for? For brunette hair with a blonde balyage:)

Lisa M: Wow! Love the new background color. Looks awesome with your skin color and hair. Thanks for the tips.

GIRLBOSS: In quarantine. I will definitely try these out!

Lydia Glassman: Going to try the lemon tonight! You must have read my mind! Thanks and have a lovely day! ♡♡♡

Shay Red: Can you do these suggestions on lighter red hair? Or natural (non dyed) hair?

Madeline Heeley: Hi Silvia :)), do you use full strength hydrogen peroxide on your teeth or the 3% solution that you buy over the counter? Thank you.

Helms Deep: Do these things lighten hair to a yellowy blonde? I have dirty blonde roots. The rest is a silver blonde. I'm concerned it will turn my roots a yellow blonde.. which wouldn't mix well with the silver.

Reviewntina: Hi :) I wanna know something, the lemon juice isnt going to oxidize the hair color? Will it sweep the color of the dye or toner of the hair? is it going to get brassy?? I want to know the same about the apple vinager pleaseeee!!! Thanks <3 Regards from Chile!

Leah: I have Dirty blonde hair and I really want to get it blonder or highlights

Heba Elsaid: Loved this video. I have a question. My natural hair is a level 3 So i used to bleach and tone to a level 7 dark ash blonde and 6 months ago i decided to dye my hair black. In between that time i have used apple cider vinegar a couple of times. So my question is if i continue to do apple cider wash and try the peroxide method would that completely strip the black dye out? Salon black dye not box dye and have only had the 1 application since being a level 7 about 6 months ago.

Awakened heART RooM: I have a question. I just got my hair highlighted two days ago. She highlighted my hair a whiter blonde than I had asked for. It was really blonde. I had asked for a warmer color. So what she did I think was added some golden toner to fix it. But it had removed most of the highlight effects. Now it looks like a lighter version of my light brown hair. I was really wanting highlights and feel I lost them. She told me to use dish washing liquid on my hair and then moisturize it well.( without any real instructions about how , also I live in Canada and we don't sell Dawn dish liquid )I am wondering if this is what your chelation video is. Is this what I need to do. My fear is I will ruin the color she put in my hair. All I want is to see the highlights better As the dye she put in has covered them up. Thanks so much.

Cathleen Howard: Should you rinse out the hydrogen peroxide or leave it in until the next wash?

Wendy Morton: For using hydrogen peroxide on your teeth make sure it is food grade not just the one you easily buy in the store. That’s really important.

Nova Mania: I’m naturally blonde but underneath my hair it’s pretty much brown so I’m hoping this works But I wondered what about coconut oil and lemons?

Miranda SPRTL: Does it also work on permanent colored hair?

anjeanettes channel: This is so helpful!

Rachel B: Can this be used on bleached hair ?

StarPanda7: Could you do a video on Redken products? I use the Extreme, Blonde Idol, and Curvaceous lines. Just curious what a pro thinks compared to everything you use.

Destiny Reidel: It’s like you read my mind! I wanted you make a video like this and here it is!

Much Light and Love: Yes! Medical Medium talks a lot about lemon for teeth and he says this about the acid as well. Nice!

Valerie hogan: I have allowed my hair to lighten over the last year. But now I am growing impatient with a level of orange tone now... What can I do to lighten it up more to get rid of the orange, >?

Patra K: I love all your video's but your hair looks almost platinum blond to me, not sure if it's my monitor or your hair color. Quick question will any of these items you mention get rid of brassy orange red color hair that's in between going to full blond or should I just wait until I do a toner?

Gem Gem: Love your videos!

M Coleman: Thanks for the tips!!!

Emily B: Some things ppl say lighten ur hair FOR BLONDES but don’t r this: Apple cider vinegar (turns hair red) Olive oil (leaves dark hue in hair) Stay away from: Apricot oil Walnut oil Castor oil

Miss Kitty: Wow you are gorgeous. Your makeup looks beautiful, I love the soft pretty neutral colours you use. Is that your natural skin tone or do you fake tan? I want to wear make up like yours but I think I am too pale :(. Interesting tips on how to lighten your hair! I have never dyed my hair but at least now I will know how to not go brassy if I do end up doing it in future. ♥

♡ Liv ♡: My hair is such a light blonde but it has lots of different blondes as well naturally

DivineHealing 1111angel: I am hairesser and work with it and did 3 years course and I know that hydrogen peroxide is definitely not natural and same damaging as permanent colour .more better is just one time bleach your hair as wanted shade on natural hair colour and do later only roots not touching ends.

Amanda Miller: I have a question do you get your hair wet then add the stuff in or do it while dry?

Midnight Elf: Your makeup is insanely perfect and beautiful.

Lucy Loo: personally chamomile dried out my hair. I noticed that I would have to do intense moisturizing treatments after because it got really straw-like. and it also didn't lighten my hair almost at all. Im naturally medium blonde and i have virgin hair.

Kristin B: Great video Silvia love you and your channel

Lemon Kid: I have really naturally dark hair (dark as night) and I’m kinda scared to try these out bc I don’t want it turn into an orangy color any advice?

Tom Dyer: Could I try mixing the baking soda with my shampoo and conditioner? Please answer :)

Mary Light: actually I love red hair, so to have that be one of the colors that come before it becoming blonde eventually, sounds wonderful ^^

Valencia Powell: These are the following tips/ingredients. 1)Lemon 2)Applesider vineger 3)chamimile 4)Baking soda 5)Hydrogen peroxide And u,re all to go.

Amber Deas: Could u also use baking powder?

lava tube: Thanks! good tips

K B: my hair is a pretty nice blonde all over, and naturally im about a level 8. i have a few brassy pieces in my blonde that i want gone and i dont wanna process my blonde again to get those pieces lighter. will the hydrogen peroxide take care of it?

Clara Bean: Great tips!

SladeBallard: just tried peroxide and baking soda mixed for almost 60 minutes and my hair looks exactly the same

OWild1Child: Great info! thank you! You are the real real:)

andy blanc: I would love to see you do a makeup tutorial on your makeup today...its ammmmmazzzzing.....i think i will get the hydogen proxide....tomorrow...because i want to lighten the front pieces on the sides of my streaked hair...thank you for that idea

Jhumur Saeed: I was “blessed” with the black thick black hair ( I mean I love my thick hair) but I can not do anything with my hair to make it fun without damaging it

jessica cervantes: Can you do a video on how to color hair with gray roots and highlights please. I love your vídeos.

Brook Walker: Is it okay to use Monat on tape in hair extensions?

Phat Vids Ltd: You're very pretty! Love your hair! Thanks for the tips. Love from Germany <333

Laura Elizabeth: Do you mix the apple cider vinegar with half water too?

M Faye: Thank you for this video!! What would work best for a redhead?

Marcie: Can this be used on bleached hair?

Alicia Morales: After I dye my hair blonde can I use the lemon juice after

Christina S.: Crushed vitamin C pills worked really well for me too, but maybe for thicker hair they wouldn’t work... I have very fine hair...

Abigail Tenney: 1. Lemon/Apple cider vinegar 2. Chamomile 3. Baking soda 4. Hydrogen peroxide

MochaDevin: How do you deal with the tiny hairs growing in that kinda stand up on top of hair. They are always tickling my face. I do use the apple cider vinegar rinse recipe to strengthen my hair. I live in Canada, and if I am visiting San Francisco, I would love for you to do my hair.

Deshina Rajeswari Nanthakumar: Chamomile! I had no idea. The next time I make tea & lemon I'll be helping lighten my hair too ☕

K Bs: Can I apply on dry hair?

Aine Moffatt: So can u use the lemon juice on dyed blonde hair ??

k.johnston: I'm years late to this video, but is it still true that if you use Sun In and then get your hair highlighted it can cause a chemical reaction? I heard something about the metals reacting and burning the hair, and that once it's on your hair it's in there until you chop it off...? People also said Sun In changed their formula? I don't know what's true, but I'm scared to use it now.
