Hey guys, thank you so much for clicking on this video today we are doing highlights. We are doing this brown base highlights. Look super easy to achieve so, if you're interested in seeing how i did it step by step, definitely continue watching so i'll, be using a wig that i have in my stash. I just wanted to kind of revamp it, so i'm going to do a quick bleach bath, i'm using one scoop of powder and i'm i'll be using um, clear 20 volume developer. I'M gon na mix just a little bit of that into the bowl, just to kind of get the mixture going and then i'm going to pour the remaining of the gallon into the bowl to create my bath. So i'm going to say i use about a quarter of that gallon. To do this bleach bath definitely use gloves if you're, not in um, like a bathroom or somewhere, where there's a sink readily available um, but being that the sink is right there and i could wash this bleach off my hands if it happens to get on them. Um, i just did it without gloves, but don't do as i do do. As i say, wear gloves just you know, protect yourself pretty much um. So i let this process for roughly an hour up until i saw that the color lifted to like a number four like a like a honey brown um, a honey brown color. So i let it process for some time and once i saw that it actually lifted to the color i needed. I rinsed it out, and i let the hair air dry now for the highlights. I didn't show the product but i'll, be using the l'oreal high color in honey blonde, along with 40 volume developer, to achieve the highlights, the part that i'll be showing you all. First. Is the closure um the closure process? So all right, we get it. It'S brown. I section off the wig um, of course, and i'll be starting in the closure area, like i stated before, i'm going to kind of just weave the end of my brush through the closure area and i saturated the foil with the honey blonde mixture and i'll just Feather it lightly, just to get some nice highlights going and the reason why i saturate the foil first is just so that i can have the hair evenly coated and saturated enough, where the payoff like the color payoff would be, you know, would be pretty good. So i'll be weaving through the closure area. As you know, that's the part that people are going to see um, so i'm very particular about this, but i'm going to show you all how i do. I do get a little lazy um when it comes to the back of the hair, so the hair is the hair on the closure is all done. It'S all separated and all that good stuff. Now i'm going to just use my fingers to do my weaving in the back, so yes, you guys saw what i did like i pretty much just took you know some strands of hair. I have a strand that i won't be um using the color on and yeah that's pretty much what i'll be doing throughout the rest of the unit um yeah, because i i get a little lazy and um. What i'm pretty much doing is i'm trying out this color just to see if i could actually use it to achieve um some custom colors uh when it comes down to what i don't do like with my business, because i do provide custom color services. So i definitely like to try out different products and see which product would work best with. You know different wigs, because although i have a vendor, i do have clients who would like to provide their own hair extensions. So by you know, trying out different products. I'M able to you know see which is best to achieve a lot of these custom colors but yeah. So here is the unit after it was finished. Very very pretty. I did add some blue swan curls into the hair and if i didn't, let you guys know, this is a 26 inch body wave wig that i had in my stash of wigs and i just wanted to kind of give it some umph custom, color or whatnot, And it came out perfectly, you can't even tell that i did it lazily. So here i'm just going to comb out those one curls and show you guys how this hair gets. Super duper live it. It don't get live it just it just gets big. Okay! Oh, my gosh, that color looks so so so good like, oh my goodness, i'm so happy at how the color came out so now. I know for a fact that i don't necessarily need to use um bleach um to do the highlights when i do this method, because oftentimes when i'm doing highlights with the brown base, i do my bleach bath and then i go in with some more bleach to Do the highlights, but now i don't have to do that and it just helps preserve the life of the hair a lot longer by doing it this way. So i hope that you guys enjoyed this video and you found it super helpful if you did definitely leave a comment down below and let me know and i'll be seeing you all in my next video. Thank you so much again for watching bye.
