Hi everyone erin here from real wig fun, so today we're going to take a look at one of envy's brand new styles, and this is called sam and i have sam in lighter red, so stay tuned. So first i need to thank wigs by paddy's pearls for supplying this wig for me, so i could do a review for you today. Okay, let's jump into it. I don't know that i've ever tried on a wig in a shade as red as this, but the color is absolutely stunning. I'M not sure that this color or style is a great fit for me. It doesn't feel entirely like me, but it is beautiful nonetheless. So i'm excited to share this style with you. So, as i mentioned, this is a brand new wig brought out by envy called sam and sam is a synthetic piece with an average cap. The cap is incredibly comfortable and for those that have never tried envy wigs, i'm finding that this cap fits very similar to many of my raquel welch styles, so it's incredibly comfortable for my 22 inch circumference head. So to me this is an everyday style that you could wear every day with extreme comfort right. It hits just at the shoulders, at least on myself for reference. My face is seven inches from hairline to chin and i have about a three and a half inch neck. So if you have a longer face than me or a longer neck than myself, then this may read a little bit shorter on you um than it does on me. So as far as the style itself, i think the thing that i'm struggling with is this flip. At the bottom, you know what, when i was younger, i had a style very similar to this that i wasn't always fond of so this is bringing me back to a hairstyle when i was younger that i didn't love too much, but there are tons of things That i love about sam and number one, it would be the fibers. So although this is a synthetic non-hd, fiber wig, these fibers feel very fine and very lifelike. So i love that number two. The cap is incredibly comfortable number three. I love the fact that it has a full monofilament top all right. Let'S do a turn so that you can see sam on all sides. So clearly, this is my front. I i often mention about density, and i think that this wig, i would classify it as medium density. I can tuck it behind my ear comfortably. So that's good! This is my right side, the back the left side and then back to the front. So, as i already mentioned, sam has an average size cap. It'S fitting my 22 inch circumference head very well and then, as far as the dimensions, this front section here is five and a half inches. That'S these sections that it's referring to, which i find that it's staying off my face right out of the box. I'Ve done nothing to this other than breaking the part and sort of getting my fingers in there to loosen the fibers. That'S the only thing that i've done so i really like that about this style that i don't have to worry about it constantly flopping in my face. So to me, it's ready to wear right out of the box, so the crown which is this section right here down is 10 inches. The side is 10 inches and the nape is six and a half inches. Okay, let's go ahead and take sam off i'll. Give you another look at that beautiful light red and we'll talk about the color in just a second but i'll turn sam inside out. So we can look at the inside of that cap and this is a really good cap construction. In my opinion, i really love the full monofilament top the lace front. Although it doesn't run into the ear tabs, it does run temple to temple, and then you have the felt covered ear tabs with metal stays, open, wefted sides and back with the extended nape, which i really like, and then this particular envy wig has bra strap like Adjusters, so you will notice that they are almost all the way out. So if you have a smaller head circumference than i do, you can simply adjust these adjusters by pulling them in and to fit your head circumference. Okay. So let's talk about this color lighter red and i'm not sure if i would describe it as light, because this is a very gorgeous red, shade and i'll get up to the front so that you can see this lace front. I think it's done well. You can see to me, i can see a tiny bit of the lace here, but i think that the knotting is done very well and then because you have that full monofilament top, you can part it anywhere within this section. So let me show you the mono top, where i have it parted, but you could part this wig, for example, if you wanted to part it on the right and you do get a good illusion of scalp, which i really like that so as far as this Color lighter red you can see it is a non-rooted shade. I typically gravitate towards rooted shades, but what i'm liking about this color, although it's not rooted, is the highlights of the subtle blonde. That'S running through this, as they describe this irish red shade. Another thing you may be interested in is: is there enough length to put it up, and you know what? Although it sits right at our shoulders? You could put this in a cute, low, ponytail and pull out these sections here, um. If you wanted to get that off your neck, so good versatility from that perspective, so you know what, when i was looking at ordering this wig to be able to bring a review for you. I said to wigs by patty's pearls.
