20 + Fantastic Realistic Wigs, One After Another At A Godiva'S Secret Wig Party!

You never put a bun up here, because the wig's not going to fit properly and you're going to have a bump, so low and plus the bun becomes the anchor for the wig back here. Okay, so what i'm going to do right now and hi everybody across the nation, rochelle, with godiva secret wigs? What i'm going to do is i'm these are pretty much in order except i dropped the first five, but in order to on your list. So if you see a wig that you like just put a check at that name and i'm going to say the color of every wig, almost every wig comes in every color, so got it. So almost every wig comes in every color. So you can make a note of the color, even though maybe that's not the wig, you love most likely. The color comes in the style. You like do you understand, so they come in they work together. Do you have them here many? So the first wig i'm going to show you is courtney, and the color is ginger h and i'm going to show you how easy all of these are. So it comes up to your hairline. Courtney is a spunky, shorter, wig, ginger aged rich brown, with definite red highlights, but remember they all come in 20 to 30 colors. So afterwards we'll talk color, okay, so sometimes i just like to put some water. She put some water here and pump it up, but real easy, very light. Very lightweight feel how light this is. The next wig uh we're doing is christy christie's the same wig that claudette has on, and this color is called coffee latte. Another we're starting with sharp wigs, so see this great little sexy dip, and then we can trim that. But it's got nice height right here. Isn'T that cute, and so most of our clients do own two to 20 wigs. They have a little mini wardrobe of wigs and they can choose how they want to look. So maybe you don't own short right now, but it might be fun to try something different, so christy, this color's coffee, latte, the next i'm going to show you is kelly in mochaccino r, the r means roots. Do you see how it's darker at the root, so mochaccino-r is more of a little beigier blonde with roots see how it's real long around the face? Isn'T that great and just remember to be at the hairline, because, if you're too low, that's how your wig looks so up always up at that hairline as soon as you see your hairline stop and even the tabs, if you're going through chemo or radiation, you have No hair, then you will still see a line and your could die the secret consultant or we would trim the bang. So, if you're not sure where the wig goes just put, the bang in the right place and 99 of the time you'll be in the right place, isn't that cute? This is kelly and kelly is amazing, also with bangs and with this shorter. Okay, so don't make it. This is mochaccino r, so wigs can be styled and changed so don't say no to kelly, just because these are too long, because i could also put it behind my ears. I could trim a little bang. Okay. I love that. It'S amazing how sickly it looks cute. You know that one! Yes, yes, okay, someone loved dharma in the video before this is dharma and chocolate frost. So here's how we start out up at the hairline, even the tabs and dharma, is a great little punky, very short, but very close to the neckline to the nape, not great okay, dharma, chocolate, frost and all the wigs are priced from 149 to about 239. This is a great wig. This is called peggy and i like to shake a wig before i put it on so you're, going to see how it starts this way. You'Ll know when you get home. If it looks like this, don't freak just watch how easy up at the hairline, even the tabs, i'm going to pull a little bit to the side, i'm going to give myself a little bang and then, instead of taking a wig down down instead take it up And back see how you get a great look right here, so this is peggy. What color is this creamy toffee art? It stays in place? It'S not like your pen, it stays in place, but also when we get into longer wigs. They move like hair. So you manipulate hair by teasing a little hair spray. Some clips same with wigs, but this is just a fantastic wig, so that is peggy, but how easy it is to fix up at the hairline. Even the tabs bring those bangs down and i go up and back i like to show ear unless you don't like showing your ears, but i like to show ears on it with the wig. Isn'T that cute? It looks good so a little flatter, a little flatter, but a little longer hair than some of the others. Okay, great great great wig. So this is mindy. So i'm going to take you a little fuller for a minute. This wig is called sunset. I'M going to start you just showing you how full it is. Oh, let me see the color now uh. This is creamy blonde, so sunset, so don't freak when you get home because watch what i'm doing up at the hairline smooth. Those bangs give me some little side around here and i can tone the whole thing down. I just took off all my nails, so i don't have nails so you can't say i need nails, just just graze your fingers against the wig cap. So how does it look now good, better okay, but say you like that fuller! Looking back so just take your fingers and fluff it in the back - oh my god, okay, so i can have it closer to my face here. Otherwise, just get all that pump that you want. So this is sunset, so check sunset as one of your 20 choices. Okay, that sunset, give it a two stars all right now: andrea andrea, is a great wig. If we're going a little smoother a little longer could be great for you. This is creamy blonde. So always remember i'll drive you crazy, but up at the hairline and even those tabs, because if the tabs are crooked, got a problem and then clients write us and say the wig doesn't fit right. Well, it just doesn't fit right because you need to even your tabs okay, so this is andrea, cute earring and bring this forward. Give it a sexy. Little look isn't that cute and if i have sunglasses, oh, my gosh sunglasses on top of a wig are amazing because no one ever thinks you're wearing a wig. When you put sunglasses on your wood, it's nuts, what's the color of that one, this, i believe, is creamy blonde. It'S a yummy, creamy blonde, andrea, andrea, great wig, and by the way, we'll cover a couple of quick tips when you're not wearing your wig. My wigs are modern; they don't have to go on a wig head unless you like a styled look and you don't ever want to touch it personally. We teach our clients just turn it inside out and store it in the bag that we give you so some clients own 20 and 30 wigs. They have shoe boxes, one is christy, one is andrea, one is freedom and they love it. That way. Some have heads all across their you know up in their closet. I, like a sweater drawer under my bed. I have a drawer, so yeah drawer is great. Okay, next is a wonderful wig. I'Ve carried it for 15 years, it's a classic and it's called carly carly is a modern but classic paige, so some clients will even take it behind their ears. The bangs are pretty perfect and it's just a great classic. It'S great on a woman in her 30s and it's great on a woman in her 70s, it's got a great little wedge cut just a little bit, so this hair back here is the wig that makes it worse. Yeah i try okay, so this is carly. What'S that color ginger brown, a really rich brown, most of my browns, i don't choose to do an ash. I do to the warmer shades because, as women get over 40, our skin tone changes and an ashy color will make our skin not make not look as pretty so we tend to go to the warmer tones for our clients. It brings out the warmth on their skin tone. Okay, my favorite, like i think everyone in the world that works with us, owns freedom. I love that color in meg, so you see how it starts, and then i just use my fingers and what she called this color is nutmeg. No, no i'm so excited sweetie freedom. I think you own a freedom that made, i don't know. Okay, freedom comes with roots or without roots, but some wigs come only with roots some come only without so you would check with your godiva secret consultant or us tonight, okay, but this is an amazing wig and if you have a smaller face, don't be afraid of Freedom, because all you have to do is take the hair away from your face, so see behind my ears. How easy it is next, we're going a little longer now, harmony in iced, mocha, iced, mocha, you'll, see this color is amazing. It'S got some highlights of blonde. Like kind of robust highlights, not wimpy highlights in this, so this is harmony up at the hairline, even the tabs, and it looks really good behind the ears too. So this is great now, once you get into a little longer wig, you can also pull it back. You can put a little clip back here. You know you can start to play with it a little bit. So this is harmony. What'S the color uh, this is iced. Mocha harmony does not come rooted. Tell you right now now i have to show you how great i look in gray, so this is selma. We do modern, gray, modern gray, wigs this color is called silver stone and it is great looking so up at the hairline. This is selma wig. That is oh because nobody would guess yeah great wig, so some points love it messy, but we trim the bangs. Remember the bangs are too long, so you can, if you're not near a godiva's secret consultant or store just take the wig to your hairdresser and say barely nip these bangs, please what color you know this is nutmeg. F, okay, so this is katie. So katie is great because again, whenever it's longer you can put it up, i can put it behind my head. I can, by teasing, manipulate the flip and turn it into a page boy, okay, but it wants to flip. So don't don't say i promised you, it would stay as a page or you can take the back twist. It put a little clip right back here and then you have a whole different little look. This is rooted, nutmeg, f, rooted and nutmeg f would be a great color for you. Okay, the next wig is marina in creamy toffee. So once again, i'm showing you the most popular the most modern wigs. All these waves look great on all ages. Our typical client is about 37 to 76, and but it's how we trim it, not every wig works for everybody, so maureen and you see how it's a little flatter than some of the others. I'Ve shown you it's a little more closer to the face, yeah but great great. So this is nina now for some women they want they're curly, but - and i can say that, because i'm naturally curly and frizzy. So i'm going to say this curly hair many times ages, what's happening in society is smooth and sleek that is what's youthful, so nina is the best of both worlds. Okay, because the front is the illusion that you got blow-dried okay, but look at the back. I think that's darn cute, but and if someone doesn't want this full now watch, i can turn the whole thing and it's down right. Sheen, it's shiny, but not too shiny shiny is healthy right. Women paid billions of dollars a year to show in their shiny hair, and if you do want a doll, a wig. All you have to do is a touch of talcum powder on your hands and dust. The wig, but the sheen is part of the moisturizing of a brand new wig, so it's going to fade into it, but so you can do whatever's comfortable for you, but this is nina. What'S the color uh, let me look again and nina comes rooted and not rooted, uh creamy blonde, just a rich creamy balm. What color was that? Yes, uh marina was creamy toffee r with the roots creamy toffee creamy toffee far. Okay. Now i know michelle loves this because she's got this wig. This is sabrina in irish spice. So this is our modern version of a classic page. Okay. But look at the back this great geometric cut. I like that yeah caterpillar has just moved so far. Yeah irish now for some women they don't want it flat. Like me, i love mine and i do own sabrina and irish spice, but what i do is i tease a little bit of it right here, give myself a little bit of a lift and as soon as i give a little lift, i don't know if i've Done it or not, but you can play if you get it in front of your mirror, you get just a little more. We always want this lift when we're working with clients or when you're choosing look for a wig. That gives you a little lift and that doesn't drag you down. So this little baby lift right here it really it's great, isn't it so sabrina i like to wear it like this yeah. My husband loves it. I have that one, but i don't have it. That'S the other one, oh yeah, and it's gorgeous on you: okay, tiffany great great wig. This color is chai cream. Now, that's a really nice color beautiful, so tiffany is a little longer than sabrina and a little rounder see how it's got more roundness to it. Yeah. What'S that one called this, this is a tiffany. Now look at the back, how it's layered it's fun! So really cute put your sunglasses up here and again we would trim the bangs and if the length is too long, we trim the length. If you need it, you know just a thinner look. We do that, so we are trained to work with wigs we're what we call alternative care technicians. We don't deal in human hair unless we're working with a cancer patient and we're cutting off her hair and what was the color of that this chai cream c-h-a-i cream. This is, you saw it on one of the videos someone was asking. This is one of our most popular wigs, again trixie in nutmeg f. So again, here, that's how i have it's trixie! That'S not today, trixie! Yes! No! What we love is this edgy, this wispiness, but that's the one right here personally, i love mine behind this ear and nice front and a little sexy right around here and then we'll trim this and open up to open up your eyes. Do you hairspray that, though we sell low alcohol hairspray, so we sell godiva secret brand shampoos conditioners and low alcohol hair spray? You never use normal hair spray because the alcohol just like it dries our own hair, but it really dries the high quality synthetic fibers. So our own shampoo and conditioner as well right guy, the secret brand i've been using it for 15 years. So we know that what you're washing your products with works and if something's weird with that wig, then we're going to be detected. This is nutmeg f again your favorite color, one of your favorites that isn't the one i have it's pretty dark, so trixie, wig, nutmeg, f, that's what she is michelle you have one sabrina, no sabrina was the um one. I have trixie on trixie. Okay, sabrina is a short one: oh okay, so this wig is jenna and not all wigs have to be worn out. Remember you know i do a lot of public speaking about relationships too and bringing the unexpected back to a relationship kind of like you know when you first met your husband or your mate, you danced a different dance. You didn't know what steps he would take and that's kind of fun the unexpected, but then, after years and decades you know everything, so it's really fun and playful and spontaneous to where even the different wigs sometimes look a little different. So this is jenna. Okay, jenna is great and again i can put it up and twist it and clip it. I can put bangs in it for our clients or claudette, but it's got that jennifer aniston look right by the way. You can't see it, but there are about 20 women. Here, having lots of fun, so we're glad you could make it to the swedish. So this is jolie in red, pepper and i do amazing reds. But most women don't go red, so i'm not showing you as many, but we have excellent styles and colors jolie wig is smoother but see how it's cut away from the face right here. Well, thank you, but part of it is you don't know me very well. So you don't have a story that makes it right or wrong, and you know the biggest detriment to friends. When friends try wigs together is they have a story of what's right, but it's not really what's right, it's just what you're used to so the biggest the most important thing i can say to you all of you is: don't make different wrong. Just let different be different and that's the pleasure of being alive and being a human being and experiencing everything, and not just especially as we get older. Our world gets older and i have clients. We have clients that are in their 70s, their 80s their 90s and they slap a new wig on and they feel you know and when people order online they can return what they don't like, but don't make it wrong just because you're not used to it or You won't try different foods, you won't take a different trip somewhere. You know, you start saying no to things so wigs are a great way to say yes to different things in a safe way. Yeah! So isn't this in this case. Yes, red pepper and blondes make great redheads too. You know. Yes, you said that was jolie joelle j. So i'm going to show you our two favorite long wigs. There are others, but these fit with them. A multitude of different face shapes and styles, and i'm going to show you what you can do with them. The first one is called faye in coffee latte. So you start like this. You bring it up to your hairline, even the tabs, and i'm separating my little give myself a part. So i'm starting here so many of you. I hear you you're saying too long too long too long right. So, first of all, we can trim this wig or you could take it to a hairdresser and have it trimmed. It looks great this how about pulling that back? Where you just said you could that part back excellent idea, so i can just take the sides of faye twist them and bring them back and clip them, and i have a whole different look see how that just took the bulk away from my face. But if you leave the bowl the shorter bulk here - and you pull this back right now, just so, we could see how it would look and that is shorter. Like none of the ways i do it. So i can just leave some wispy pieces right here. Make leave them as long as you want, and i can just put a ponytail here, but what clients really love is just to twist the back, i'm just rolling my finger, bring it up and put a big fat clip, so many clients, 50 and over will take A couple of inches off the bottom and they'll only wear it twisted up and clipped. Isn'T that pretty, because it gives you that little height, but it's a sexy little look. So that's another way! You can do it. You can also pull up the sides. If you want some height up here, i'm just taking my fingers and pulling up if i come forward, see how that made it higher or flatter, and then i just clip it and that's it so this is faye. Fay does not come rooted. Okay - and i think this is 199 and last but definitely not least, is my favorite. I think i have four of these in different colors and by the way i have many clients that own the same wig in four to five different colors, because each color brings out a different part of their skin or their mood, and they really do look different. So this wonderful experience is called candace and i'm showing you in nutmeg f. This is rooted, see how i already started doing this, because that's the feeling that candice gives candace doesn't leave some women's bedrooms, because playfulness is part of a great relationship. You know, so nobody has to know what happens behind closed doors. I have a question: yes, how do you keep a wig on in bed? So there's a couple of answers. One first answer is stay on top. The second answer is we have little metal clips and we sell them separately, they're just two dollars each or four dollars. One is what i do in a wig and i've sewed clips in so all you do is put the clip on put the wig on and snap the wig and the clips to your hair, and i promise you, you can do anything and i need anything and Just to show you a couple of things to do with canvas because it is so fun, so we do have many clients and for myself i'm over 50, and this is too long for me now. So i cut about three inches off on my own canvases. I give it a little bang a little bang. So it's not so this is it to me a younger look, but not for 40 plus. We took a couple of inches off, we took the bangs a little shorter and her headband just pulls all the hair away, so they're very simple ways to make a wig make sense on something. Fancy because remember you want a wig just to look like hair and no hair is perfect and all i did was put a clip up here way up high, and so i got this whole high. Crazy look and i got him crazy. It was, it was fun. So hair's kind of like wearing a beautiful mask and it allows you to feel free and express yourself. Most of our clients have no hair problems or challenges, but they want freedom and convenience, and so that's good. But does anybody have any questions you were saying some wigs are rooted, so the difference between a rooted, wig and a not rooted wig is. Do you see the dark right here? That means it's rooted and that means rooted through the entire through the entire wig, not rooted. Let me find one it's a wig that has no dark at the roots, so not rooted and rooted, but there are different colors of both okay and they're, not necessarily solid. They are highlighted right. They are blended and highlighted right like this is highlighted. This is not braided, but this is highlighted.
