Hey you guys, thanks for Tony and so my tutorial today, I will be working with Lumiere hair. I have one of their affordable for late weeks. This is their body wave hair and its arms 10 inches. It kind of sits at the shoulders. I didn't want anything too too long, so today, I'm actually going to show you guys how to create highlights. You have some people that are not always natural as far as the 1b or the natural hair color. So today we're just going to put a little bit of highlights in the hair. I went to the beauty, supply and totally forgot to get the aluminum foil for the actual hair, so I had some at home, so I said: okay! Well, why not show on so I'm going to show you guys how to create the highlights with aluminum foil. So me, the aluminum foil. You actually makes the hair turn a little bit more faster and it creates the heat as far as the hair being lightened up a little quicker than usual, so stay tuned watch. How I create this look now I use the volume of 20. You can either go a little bit higher on the volume or you can go a little bit lower on the volume it all depends on the color highlights you want, I'm really trying to go for a blondish kind of light. Brown highlights so we're gon na actually go through the hair and we're gon na place, the aluminum foil under the hair and we're gon na just pay someone to bleach, as so so just watch how I do this technique. This is something you guys will learn in hair school. If you guys ever attended cosmetology school, they will actually show you how to color with the highlights and also the streaking cap. So this is one of the best men is that I like to use. So just stay tuned and let's see how it turns out now one tip that you guys want to make sure that you're doing when you're, applying the bleach to the aluminum for you as you're folding, the aluminum foil, you're, gon na fold. It one time and then you're gon na fold it again and then you're gon na bend the end so as you're bending the ends, none of the bleach actually slips out on the side, so you're gon na fold. The ends in like that, and sometimes you guys can't even put a clip on it if you would like so just make sure that it most definitely won't slip out because when it heats actually gets to the aluminum. For you, it kind of foams up a little bit it kind of like loosens up a little bit, and you don't want that bleach falling on your client. So just just a quick tip. I want you guys to take Heba Wow. Look at that. So we actually let this bleach to sit in one for about 30 minutes. If this is not the color that you guys desire, you can always let it sit on a little bit longer. I don't recommend it's sitting on for an hour, but if you are applying heat to the color, it should turn within 30 to 45 minutes. So as I began to just take these alone in for you off the hair, as you can see, we're gon na go in here from there and we're going to bleach the night thing go ahead and wash and shampoo her. Yes, okay! So now we're just going to flip the wig inside out and we're going to apply just a thin layer of some of the leftover bleach that we have we're going to just apply a thin layer to the front lace. Part. Because we want to make this a natural color, even though we want the hair black in the front, but we don't want the knots black so we're just going to go ahead and do the bleach those knots, let that sit for maybe about 15 to 20 minutes. As those knots change colors, they begin to shampoo your hair two times and thoroughly conditioning all right, so we want to make this wig look as natural as possible, so we're going to go through it and we're gon na pluck those baby hairs on now. You just want to stand that front part out, so it won't look so thick just thin. It I'll give it a more natural look. You also want to take maybe a half an inch of hair from the front and pluck the hair also from the front and in the back as I'm doing right now. So just take your time, you don't have to we're just take your time and go through it and plus the wig come on. Do with the highlight. Do y'all see day, all right now for all my future hairstyle is my future beauticians business owners. This is something that you will learn in school if there is a different method that you have learned, it means that each is own. Everybody has their own way of doing things. So, as you can see, the color is kind of like saturated or through the hair. So it's not in certain spots, it's kind of like saturated all over here. As you can see, the back part has really really beautiful highlights from this hair being a one B. You have highlights throughout the middle the front and the side, I'm actually going to actually trim this week and then we're gon na Flatiron it and and imma. Let you guys see it with it on look at those highlights so quick question: do you guys think you'll be able to duplicate this look on another style as far as the aluminum for gold, when creating the highlights, if so jot down on the comments below subscribe To my channel, if you haven't already hit the like button and share, thank you guys with Sony, and I really really appreciate your support. I love you.

ThatGirlLuttie: This is too cute I’ve always wondered exactly why they use aluminum foil And you answered that ❤️

cwarmwinter1: very nice video & detailed but i just want to shed light on 2 things 1. when bleaching hair & using the foil method u don't need to fold the foil 2x if u noticed u had some discoloring after u shampooed the bleach out. some areas were darker where u folded. & 2. is a silly 1 - everyone says plucking on here, but it's tweezings "U pluck a chicken, U tweeze ur hair" LoL when in Cosmetology school back in the early 90's my teacher always said that when we would say plucking. But once again Nice video & keep making them. I'm subscribing now.
