Date Night Get Ready With Me | Hair Transformation. Ft Wowafrican.

Had never shared publicly don't run popping like a rubber band and we're just having fun girl. I can't be your man, hey y'all, it's all of Destiny. We have to get ready for a date night, so I'll be applying this wig that I was sent by wild African. That'S your thanks to our African first sponsoring today's video wig cap. We get a red tail comb. We get some hair clips. We get the FlyAway timer and then inside we have the wig. This is Kelly. It'S a 13x6 blonde highlighted Honey brown. Wavy wig the length is 20 inches. The density is 180. It does have a clean, hairline, undetectable HD lace, which you all will see stay tuned and the pre-bleached tiny knots I'm going to move the adjustable elastic band for a more snug fit. I have to be somewhere in an hour, so I'm not even faking this. It'S five o'clock and we're leaving out at 6 o'clock. So really I can't spend the whole hour on my hair because I'm not really even dressed for real alright, so I moved my straps to everything. I'M going to go ahead and cut the lace off of the back and to ensure that I'm getting really close, I'm actually going to go ahead and cut off the lace in the front right now that way, I can hold it and do it a little bit Better, I normally don't do it like this, but just to try just to try and see what I'm gon na get, and I can see the lace better looking dead at it in my face to just go around so getting as close as I can to the Hairline, I'm just going to use scissors to remove the excess lace. We got a wig cap when he tells you that it's okay to be yourself and be comfortable around him. So you take off your hair cap yeah all right. So I'm going to take this moisturizer and just apply this to my edges, to kind of slick them back Peppa Pig. This is from Walmart if you like it with a little bit of a mixture of edge control on my hands as well. I just finished my makeup, so I'm just going to take what's left and work that right into the cap, the purpose of the foundation or you can use a powder, is just to make your stacking cap match your skin tone. I'M going to take this wig s kind of old, but it it's kind of got like lace on it and you basically put it on like this and then the velcro kind of makes it stick, since the part is in the middle. That'S where I'm going to keep it to save time. I want to do crimps. Let me see to apply the wig I like to hold it by the adjustable band, put that towards the nape of the neck, and normally I would like swing my head forward. But okay slow down the zone now destiny - pretend like the camera, is not even there and you'll have this wig on in five minutes: okay, okay! So again! Okay! So try this again place the band on the back of the neck, and then you can kind of like move the hair out of the way, and I kind of just grabbed the hair like right by the frontal part and kind of move that towards my hairline And then I finished working with the back Portion by taking that comb and tucking that underneath my braids that helps to secure it in the back and then I began working with the front line of the lace where I want it to be. So I'm going to pull out the right side and then the left side and then I just kind of Pull It Forward: undetectable lace, yes, ma'am! Okay! So let's head out from my bathroom and continue this install in Dallas, so it is 8 45.. Hey, y'all Destiny. I'M about to install this wig, it is about wow African. I may let what's up with Destiny. Do her thing, I'm almost ready, but we're going to Papados. We got reservations for nine, nine, thirty, so yeah before heading out to Dallas. I had washed this wig. The previous night um, I left it to air dry, but it wasn't all the way dry, so I just need to kind of like blow dry it a little bit to straighten it out. You know what yeah, so I'm back in Dallas for the second time, if you're not new. Here I went to Dallas for my birthday, my 31st birthday back in July, and I'm gon na have to do a laundry, because this is giving my lashes too big and I don't have scissors so I'm about to spray this down. I wore this wig one other time I may insert a few clips of you all to see, but because there are just certain clips that I liked from my original install, but as I'm looking into the mirror right now, it's like how did you not see the Lace, Destiny, but I kid y'all not like off camera. It was not looking like that to me, and I was just like. I can't upload it like this, but I wanted to show you all originally how I do pull out the baby hair kind of separated from the temples I spray a little holding spray to kind of make. It lay forward, trim the edges just a little bit, not too much, because you can always take off more swoop them using the present comb helps me to guide them in a forward Direction, and the freeze spray also helps to hold the lace down, but it's not Glue, basically, when you reinstall the wig, you just relay them the exact same way. My stocking cap was showing - I didn't fix it until after the entire video was over, and I just felt like if y'all were going to be watching that the whole time it wasn't going to be giving like. Oh, she fixed it at the end. Y'All weren't gon na want to hear this, so I was like I'm gon na have to refilm it next time I wear it. I love the lace around Africa's wigs. Let'S talk about how y'all been dming me, I'm rushing enjoy the rush, get ready with me. Y'All been dming me like because, if you're not new here then y'all know, I took my first flight to Miami uh back in June, and I've always been like afraid of heights, and I've never really talked about that. I share a lot with you all, but that was something that I kind of just had never shared publicly don't run no um. I had never really shared that publicly, so it wasn't something y'all knew but y'all. What I was asked like you know: why don't you take trips? Why don't you travel more on your Vlogs, because I would always go places that was like road trip type of ABS, a drivable distance, even though I wasn't doing the driving, but I was just scared to get on the plane if you have a fear of something That doesn't really make sense to other people why you should be afraid of that. That'S what flying is for me or apparently not anymore. So after that I went to Washington. Washington was a good time too. We were only there for 24 hours because it really only went for this show if y'all start their Vlog yeah, because I was like you got ta come back, but I'm definitely going back to Washington as well me and sunny had a really good time, like a Really good time, but I'm gon na shut up now and just let this play wow what this is my second time trying this the other week that I was wearing. I had it on with that. One too, I left voice over Disney talk to you all like whether I record or not. I still got ta get ready, but I just feel like I'll, enjoy the footage better when I get home to edit. If I do a voiceover, so what's up with Destiny, don't let me downstairs freshly washed. Wigs are usually super silky. So I just like to take a little bit of oil to just work it into the hair. It helps to hold the curls and then I'm going to take this Edge scarf just to tie down the edges again we're bouncing back and forth between both of those installs. One thing I do want to show you all: you see the curls getting this wig straight out of the box. It had those curls and I thought that my flat iron was ready. But since it's not heated up yet I'm just going to go ahead and kind of bounce around y'all know how we do when we get ready you bounce around. So I did pick up a few new products from Mac. While I was in Dallas and yeah, I'm just going to apply the lip pencil, I think this one is Oak and then this is a gopher gold. Only I'm like a pinks when it comes to my lip colors. So this new type of glittery gloss was pretty to me. I like it a lot okay. So now the flat irons are kind of heated up. I use my numi flat iron on 450, the highest setting it's human hair, but it's not my hair. So, let's get into it, so I was thinking like okay, I'm rushing. Let me just straighten the hair out, but then I changed my mind and I was like I want to curl it so yeah yeah iron to kind of press, the top part to make it lay really flat. Since I was on vacation, I didn't bring like all of my hot tools, but the first time I wore the wig. I did use my pressing comb and that really makes it lay flat put a little mousse on it spray it down comb it make it like. Nice and flat right, so these are the curls, like I said when I took the wig out of the box that I already was kind of curly, so I was like okay period you get into it, so I like to just take scissors and kind of trim. The hair a little bit - I don't even think like it all about this. I just yeah it, and it was just like that. Basically, so now, when I curl the hair, it's going to still feather in that same pretty type of way. So this is how I curl in real time I kind of just like twist my wrist. If you will um - and I make my way down the strands of the hair notice - that my section is not too big but for me rushing and uh for me having reservations, I am trying to be mindful of that as I get ready after I finish with The curl I wrap it up with the flexi rod. This allows it to cool in a curled locked State and it makes the curls last for a good little minute and I'm basically going to repeat that process. I think I probably did about 10 curls um and I just put flexi rods in each one. I'M also running some of that oil on my hands, working that through the hair before putting the flexi rod in and since we are kind of rushing to get ready for our date. How about we speed things along so bounce it back to the original install? Because I wanted to show you all this cute hair for path down put it in a ponytail, then wrap some of the hair around to have the hair tie. A quick fix for like not being able to see the stocking cap would be to pull the wig forward or to push the stacking cap back. Oh baby, what you got ta be ghetto. So it's about to tell you you look good Andrew can't compliment the ratchets. What was that either way? I still think the half up half down was super cute. Like I said I did push back the stocking cap after filming the video, and I got ta change. My bra, I'm gon na have to put a little blur filter right. There. Then I ain't gon na mess with my curls at all for the change my bra. They know it was that low cut like that. Getting to it. I need to put on my earrings and everything, but I'm gon na talk to y'all in a minute. To conclude this, because I'm still running while African is having their Black Friday sale going on right now.
