How To Dye Your Wig From Jet Black To Burgundy/Hair Dye/Lagos Living...

Um, i'm showing you guys. All the ingredients and equipment needed to die a week so i'll be dying. My wig um into a burgundy color, so i'm just showing you guys the hair dye, the developer, i'm using the 40 volume developer and the other die in shade 79. So this is the wooden like um spoon, i'm going to be using because i don't have a brush and you're also going to be needing a glove and a transparent plastic for this. So here i'm just going to be mixing my ingredients here i'll just be using my scissors to cut off the edge of the nylon of the bleach, because these are chemicals and you don't want to use your mouth in doing any of this okay. So here i'm just going to be pouring in my my bleach and i'm just going to be eyeballing it because i don't have a measurement for any of these and mind you it's my first time ever dying a week like first time ever dying a hair in At all, i've never ever dyed my hair before so i'm just going to be eyeballing this. So here i pulled my my 40 volume developer into the already put um bleach, i'm just going to stay and it's and, as you can see, i kept on adding more and more because it just wasn't the best i wanted it to be so guys. You see me adding my hot water into the mixture uh mind you. It has to be boiling boiling hot water. I made a mistake of adding cold water into mine because i thought these are chemicals and adding hot water, my ruined wig, but i was wrong. So do not dissolve your water by adding cold water into it, pour it into the mixture while it's boiling, while it's boiling hot. So i didn't show you guys the clip where i actually had to go boil another water to put in it. But i had to boil hot fresh water or fresh hot water instead and add it to it. Okay, so here i just dumped my wig into the mixture and i kept on stirring it with my wooden spoon. So the hair gets fully saturated into the mixture and vice versa. So so here i just covered the wig and i set my timer for 20 minutes. So the hair is going to be covered in the plastic for 20 minutes and yeah guys, as you can see. So guys here, as you can see, i just started washing my wig, so i'm going to be using my tresemme, shampoo and conditioner to wash this wig. Please guys you want to make sure you wash it very, very well and when i say very very well, i mean thoroughly because you don't want to bleach some part of the bleach still stuck in the hair, because it's going to keep processing okay. So you want to make sure you wash the wig very very well, and here i'm just going going in with my conditioner making sure i get to every single strand of the hair making sure i wash it very well. Please excuse the way, i'm washing the wig like a cloth, but i just wanted the conditioner to you know, get into the hair very well and so that there's no part of the bleach left in it. Okay, so here i just boiled: um water, hot boiling water and i'm going to pour my adult burgundy dye in shade 79 into the water. So so guys here, i'm just going to be stirring the mixture with my plastic comb because the hair dye doesn't it doesn't stain anything plastic. I believe, because it didn't stain my plastic comb, so i just dumped my wig into the mixture and i continued to stay and stay and stay, and then i covered it and i left it for about 30 minutes guys. This is the hair after 30 minutes. So i'm just going to be pouring out the remaining dye water and then i'm just going to be washing the hair with my um, shampoo and conditioner, and then, when i'm done, i'm just going to dry it and then coil it. But i don't think i'll show you guys that part where i'm coiling it, but i'm just gon na, let it dry by itself and then i'll call it and i'll show you guys. The final look. So here's the final look and my wig came out looking so so beautiful, so so good.
