Today we have a quick cute hair video specifically wanting to show you guys how i've been making all my wigs black, because i don't know if you guys have noticed, but these wigs are not black like when you get hair. It'S like this human hair black, but it's not pitch black and i want it to be pitch black and ever since i've like started doing it. Seeing human hair black makes me feel like the hair is dirty. No i'm joking, but um yeah. I just i don't like it on me anymore. I feel like black is way nicer on me. So that's what i've been doing to all my wigs and i've been teasing here and there on instagram, but have been doing it, especially because i've been doing it to so many weeks. And it's because i found an easier method to do it as opposed to buying a ton of boxes of hair dye. I just use one per wig and the hot water method. So that's what i'm going to be showing you guys today, but i do also want to give a special shout out to ice for sponsoring this video. The units that i'll be dying in this video is from them and it is a body wave unit which you guys will see um as the video progresses, but i have decided that i'm gon na be wearing this hair straight and i'm obsessed. That'S literally my favorite thing about body wave hair is that it can either be worn straight or it will hold a curl very long but yeah. So with this unit, i've decided to go straight with it and i love it um. So before i get into that, i just want to quickly show you guys what was in the box. So this is the box that the hair comes in, and so obviously the wig was in here they sent me some wig caps, but these are not my color. So i probably won't be using them because you can see them in your partings whenever you wear them, if they're, not your color and then these lashes, these lashes are so long. I am terrified of trying them on, but that should be fun, yeah and then the wig. Obviously so that is all that i got in the box. I will have the specs of the hair and all that on the screen, so i hope you guys enjoy and stay tuned to see how you can revamp your wigs and make them look sexy, because i actually do feel like the darker, the hair, the more nicer It looks like it looks healthy. You know: okay, anyways, keep watching working on a weekend like usual way off, like usual, oh so this is the current state of the hay post dying. I love the black i haven't put i haven't. Oh my god. I haven't put any product on it, so it is giving loki dry and crusty and musty, but i want to put some serum on it um now, because i'm going to straighten it. So this is body wave hair, i'm sure you can see the texture is giving body, so it would probably hold a curl really well as body wave hair should. But my intentions with this hair are to have it and wear it straight. So that's why i'm straightening it, but i feel like this would be really nice holiday hair, because this is the curl pattern straight after being in water. So if you would probably put like some mousse and serum in the state that the hair is currently in, it would definitely look intentional, whereas this kind of just doesn't because it's dry - and i haven't done anything to it but yeah. So i'm going to straighten it and then i'm going to come back to you guys for the installation. I'M not gon na lie to you guys. I, like this a whole lot more than i had anticipated. It looks so good. Oh, it looks so good. Okay, okay, okay, okay, so next up is the laying process. So that is what i'm going to do with you guys, oh camera. I don't know if i want to do baby hairs or nots, but i've never done baby hairs with my wigs. So i'm loving that perfect. To be honest, can we have a moment for the hair, guys, okay, i'm gon na zoom, you guys in so we can get this glue. I mean this wig laid. So, as you guys can see um, my lace did get dyed when i was doing the dyeing process. But it's because i didn't protect it because i knew that because it's a new wig, i'm still going to bleach the nuts anyways after i dye the hair black. But if you are someone who's doing this to a wig, that's already been customized and all that then you want to put either layer of got to be the blasting freeze, spray or vaseline petroleum jelly um or you can use a wax stick. If you have one of those as well, basically these are things that are going to create a barrier between the knots and the hair dye so that they don't get dyed if they do get dyed, though, after all that protection, what you can do is have boiled Water and put some vinegar in it, so equal amounts of hot water and equal amounts of vinegar and put the lace inside that and then you will see the dye coming out and you'll keep changing the concoction depending on the progress of your hair. So if you feel that not enough has come out, but the water is too black, then you can change it and redo it again until you feel like your knots are back to what they were before. We have reached the end results which obviously you've probably already seen in the beginning, but at least now you know how we got to this place right. I do want to say guys. Icy hair is goated everyone i know who has worn icy hair has only good things to say about them. I want i want to free you. I want to free you from being scammed by the instagram hair stores in this country.
