Hey everyone, its Marcy from pretty girls with curls, welcome back to my channel today, I'm gon na show you all how I got my hair in jet black using this dark and lovely box color now I've been using this box die for some time now and a Lot of you guys ask me how I get my hair so shiny. Well, this is pretty much the foundation of how I get my hair is shiny and, of course, using different hair products. To add on to that, but this right here is where it all begins. This dark and lovely fox color says that it is fade resistant and it lasts up to 8 weeks and I've used it about maybe five times and it does last pretty long. I probably use this three times in the last year and which is not really much. I really use it to cover my greys and also on top of that, like I said I like it that it adds that shine. Those are my top two reasons for pretty much using this. This is a permanent hair color. So if you do have greys, you want to use a permanent color. If you have, if you do not have grace, you might want to use a semi-permanent and also on the Box, it does stay up to 100 % gray coverage and space that it's a permanent hair color and it has no ammonia and when you're, using a black Dye, it doesn't have bleach so you're, not lifting your hair, color you're, not stripping your hair color out. If you do plan to bleach your hair in the future I'll suggest not to use a dark color in your hair, especially like black or dark brown. If you know you're going to bleach your hair in the future, so I know I don't kind of Latian my hair ever again, so I don't mind using this from time to time, because bleach is not for me. In my opinion, darker hair dyes tend to add more moisture instead of drying. Your hair out as bleach would but don't get me wrong. You can still get some damage and some dry hair from using your darker hair color. So you want to make sure your hair is top-notch but make sure your hair is healthy. Before you add any color to your hair, it's gon na make sure you add a moisture you're doing your deep conditioning treatments to make sure your hair is in great health. Before you add any color to it, okay, so if you want to see how I black just keep on watching included in your box, is your developer, your color, your instruction packet and you're gon na have conditioner, and the conditioner has straight olive and avocado oils. Now the first thing you want to do is open your instruction packet and make sure you read it thoroughly. You'Ll also notice that you have gloves in the instruction packet - and I really don't like the gloves, so I'm just gon na take clothes off and just toss them away and use my own gloves that I usually use for work. So these gloves are usually too big and I always have died all over my hands with using these gloves. So I'm just gon na toss those aside. Now your instructions are going to tell you how to prepare the color and developer, how to apply it to your hair. It'S going to tell you the timing of how long should keep it in whether you have relaxed or natural hair is different times for each, and it's also going to tell you how to rinse it out and in how to apply the conditioner. Now I'm gon na begin by adding the color to the developer and it says we should take the little twist off first. But I always forget that part. So I'm adding the color and then I'm going to put the top on and I'm going to take the little twist part from the top. I'M gon na twist that oh I'm gon na put my finger over the tip of the applicator bottle and I'm just gon na shake it up. Now I'm gon na be good on dry hair, and if your hair is longer than mine, you can go ahead and put four sections. I don't really need to do four sections, since my hair is so short, so I'm just simply squeezing the applicator bottle and just applying it directly to my hair. I am NOT going to put it directly on my scalp, of course. It'S gon na probably get on myself eventually, but I'm not going to rub it into my scalp. I'M really just aiming for my hair and just using my fingers to just distribute the product throughout my hair. So I'm just gon na continue squeezing the bottle and just adding it to my hair and just using my fingers to rub the product, and now this part only took me about ten minutes. Of course, if your hair is longer, it may take you a few minutes longer to do this, and if your hair is long, you may want to pick up more than one box as well. When my hair was longer, I used to have to use two boxes, so just keep that in mind. For those of you who have longer hair and once it's all covered, I go to the hairline and I add more because that's where migrants are always showing now, the instructions will tell you. You can leave the color in for 30 minutes on natural hair. But I always set my timer for 20 minutes and then from there I washed out my hair off-camera and now I'm just adding the conditioner that came with the box and then I always like to finish with my favorite shampoo and conditioner. Now is usually recommended to use of color treated, shampoo and conditioner, but these work just fine for me and I stopped my hair using Shea moistures curl enhancing smoothie and I did like finger coils at the ends of my hair. By the way, I have finger coils going on right now, and this is day 2 hair after I did the Box color, and I really like it like. I just love how black hair looks my hair even feels better. Like I mentioned earlier, it feels better. It'S shiny, I just can't rape enough about black hair color and I don't know what I was thinking bleaching my hair years ago well actually last year.
