Hey y'all welcome back to my channel so, as you can tell from the title, i dyed my hair like for real this time, not the temporary hair colors. So let me tell y'all before i jump into the video, because it will completely be a voiceover um. I wanted to do black right, but then i chickened out and i got in there and they had jet black and black velvet. So i went with off black just to see how it was to darken my hair. I will put some pictures up to show you guys what my hair looked like before it was about this color, but i just had some lighter pieces and i kind of just wanted to even it all out and give myself more of a dark black look, and This is my hair, it is definitely darker than those pictures you just saw. My curls are intact. I didn't have any issues with the color and i love these results. So if you want to see what i used and how i did it just stay tuned all right, you guys, so i'm showing you first my supplies. I got my two hair dyes, some vaseline um, some gloves a pan and a brush. I am going to be using well. I bought two bottles of this adore in 118, which is their off black color, and i'm going to be pouring that into my pan now i know i'm only using one color, so there's no need for this, but it did help limit the messiness by using the Brush and the pan just to keep everything clean as clean as possible, so i'm taking my hair down, i did wash my hair first, i shampooed with the kinky curly come clean shampoo. I just wanted to make sure i got everything out of my hair that i could and my hair, my lighting in my bathroom is kind of trash, so you can't really tell you can a little bit at the top because of the way the lights hitting it. But it was a lighter brown color prior to using this off black semi-permanent color. So what i'm going to do is go ahead and section my hair off into four sections. This is the same way. I would do it if i was styling my hair or anything like that, and then what i'm going to do is grab some vesseling and i'm going to put this on my edges and the bottle says to do this just so that you don't stain your skin. So i'm going to be going across the top of my head around my ears, the back of my neck anywhere, where the paint the paint i'm so used to using timberland anywhere, where the color could stain. So i'm going to grab my gloves and get started, i'm going to be sectioning off this hair, even smaller and going in with some of the color. I did end up using. I forgot to tell you guys earlier about a bottle and a half of this. I did not use the entire two bottles so again, like i said, using the brush and using the pail or whatever. What is that thing called the bowl we're gon na call it a bowl okay using the bowl um. I did not get this all over the place like it was pretty simple to apply. It wasn't very messy, but what i will say is i did get some of this onto my countertop. I have a white countertop and i didn't realize it was there until after i had finished doing this whole process, and so it i was scrubbing away at it and it would not come off, but i finally used some acetone. So if you guys have any acetone acetone around and this gets on something you can't get it off, get you some pure acetone and it comes right off so back to the hair um you can see going on. It does look a little darker than my hair, but, as you see i'm using the brush and applying it to my roots first after i get my roots really good in that entire section, then i am going to start going in and putting the color down the Length of my hair, but i wanted to make sure that i started out getting my roots really well before i started putting it throughout the entire section. So this is what it kind of looks like i'm going to. Let you guys watch as i put it down the rest of my hair and into some of these sections and then i'll come back and talk to you a little bit more about the color. So i'm just comparing sides again the lighting in the bathroom trash. But you can kind of tell the difference. It'S it's! Looking a little darker on the other side, um, i'm just going to continue putting this in this section. One thing about the application of this once i knew my hair had a good amount of the color in it because it gets not like squishy, but it's almost like it kind of for lack of a better word starts to foam, and you start seeing kind of Like bubbles almost and it gets kind of like frothy in your hands, so when i was putting it through that entire last section, i was able to feel that kind of frothiness, and at that point i was like okay. This is getting into my hair, pretty pretty! Well, so all right, so now i've got it all through four sections. What i will say is one thing: if, when i do this again, i will not twist these sections up like this and sit underneath the dryer you're about to see me put a plastic cap on my head, which is what the instructions say. Use a plastic cap sit under heat for about 15 minutes, but i think because my sections were rolled up like this heat didn't get as well to like my roots and some of the areas on my hair, and i don't think the color took as well. So next time i will make sure my sections are loose. I'M also showing you kind of what it looks like i've, gotten it on my ears and my neck and on my hands. But all i did was wash my hands and it was pretty much gone. So it doesn't stain your skin that bad um, so this is after i have rinsed it out. Shampooed it out. I'M gon na talk to you guys a little bit here about my thoughts afterwards, when i was looking at it, it doesn't look that much. I mean it looks a little darker, but i think i probably could have went with jet black instead of off black um, because i feel, like my roots, i mean they're, okay um. As far as my hair, like my hair, feels good um. Now my shower is muddied with black water um, but as far as my hair is concerned, like it feels good, of course, y'all see. Curls are still here um. I was able to shampoo and condition my hair didn't lose much hair at all, um, so yeah next time i'll probably go darker, but i'm okay with my results, i don't know. No. I think i just could have went darker. That'S what it is. I think the color took to my hair um. I think i kind of could have probably just went a little bit darker, so yeah y'all um, very simple, very easy way to color your hair, i'm going to go ahead and style, my hair off camera and i'll come back, and let you guys see what it Looks like um style, but if you like this video, please give it a thumbs up.
