Dying My Hair At Home *Still Shook This Happened*

Hey you guys welcome back to my channel. If you are new, then you probably have not noticed much of a difference. But if you have been on this channel for a while, then you will notice that my hair is different. It is dark. It'S back at its roots, i was just really bored one night and i took a good look at my hair and it was just really brassy really in desperate need of a tone, and you know we are really like worse with cobin now than we were in The beginning - and i just didn't - want to like risk going with salon or trying to find someone that was willing to do my hair. So i just did what any other girl would most likely do, just go and get the hair dye themselves and do it themselves at home. So that is what i did and i wanted to just bring you guys along on the ride. I was really really confused on whether i wanted to go to like target or waggers and just buy regular box dye. But at the same time i looked up on google maps and there was a sally beauty nearby and i was thinking. Okay might as well. Just go and get like a salon, quality kind of hair dye. My hair ended up being a lot darker than i expected it to be, like that's for sure, but i mean i've gotten used to it. I really do like it and looking back at old photos like my hair was definitely like in need of a fresh color, so yeah with all that being said, um, i'm just gon na hop right in let's dye, my hair, alright guys the day has come, and I'M finally going to dye my hair, i'm really really nervous, because i mean i do kind of like my hair, like i dyed it blonde and over time it just got really brassy and it turned kind of like into a light brown, which i don't absolutely hate. But when you look up close, i mean you can definitely see that some pieces are just like lighter than the brown and all the brown is pretty much like orangey brassy. I don't know i'm just like not a huge fan of these streaks anymore. It just like looks really unnatural to me and i don't want to spend 200 to fix it. So here we are. I went to um sally beauty. I bought this ion. Oh here it is this ion cream color in the shade 2n darkest brown, and i bought some 10 volume developer. If you are just going to add color to your hair, then you would use a volume 10 if you're trying to lift a little bit. I think that's when you would use a volume 20 and then continue on like 30 and 40, if you're trying to lift your hair to a lighter color, i don't know, i think the volume 10 is what i need. So i got that also got these cute little pink gloves. So i don't stain my hands cute to protect our scalp. I would normally use like vaseline or something, but i don't have it. I don't know where it went so. Instead, i think i'm just gon na use lip balm. I heard it's kind of similar, i'm gon na put it around my hairline, so it doesn't. I don't know stain me watch this break me out. I wouldn't be surprised so yeah a little story with my hair. I mean i had it dark for the longest time and i had it balayaged before so i had this like dark brown situation going on. I honestly liked it, but looking back at photos, it was just too brassy. I don't know why i had that color for so long and then i went to mexico and my aunt was like. Oh, you want your hair done. Mija, like there's this lady here that like will do it for ten dollars or something you know, and that was like haircut hair dye whatever and she did it and it was not good. You could tell like where she added the bleach like it was. There were like sharp lines underneath, and it was just so so bad. So as soon as i came back to the states, i had to get that fixed and then i went to a random ladies house. She does hair at her house. She has like her own setup and everything because cobia like salons were open at that time and i think they still aren't open anyways. She did my hair and i wanted her to fix the mess that i got done in mexico and i wanted to just do like a brown, balayage kind of situation and then ended up leaving blonde, which is not what i wanted, but a day or two later. I ended up loving it and um. It'S been a few months, and now we have this color alright. So that is the background with my hair um. What do i do so we're gon na add this hair color in here, and this is gon na - take forever wow. This is literally like so hard to get out. Oh shoot. This entire tube is a 2.05 ounces and it's a one-to-one ratio. So i'm going to mix in two ounces of 10 volume - developer - okay, that was literally so hard to do so here is the cream hair color. I don't know if i mentioned this earlier, but the ion cream hair color is vegan and cruelty free. So i think what i'm gon na do is i'm just gon na split my hair in half and then, where my ear is right here, i'm going to split my hair in half awesome all right, so you got one two three four, my hair is really really Long, actually, it's not super long. Okay, like let me calm down, it is kind of long and i only got one of these cream hair colors. So i'm hoping it's enough. The lady at sally duty told me was enough. So if it's not enough, i'm i'm suing. I'M just kidding, i'm not. I realize i probably should have added this first, because it has like the little lines in here of like how many ounces it is. I'M just gon na eyeball this and do half, because this is four. Oh, this is so hard. Why did i do this? Should i flashlight it? I don't know what i thought that was gon na. Do it's literally, okay, okay, i think i added a little bit more than half. I'M really scared, okay, whatever time to mix like if it doesn't look cute, i'm really like. I can't go back. That is the scariest part of this. I'M really scared, because this does not look like that much. I'M really really regretting this. You guys. Okay, i'm gon na actually split this section into two, because it's pretty big guys, i'm freaking out, i'm literally so scared like this is not enough color at all. Oh my god. Oh my god. I forgot. I had this like plastic bag to put on my shoulders. So it wouldn't like get everywhere. Okay! Well, that's too late! It'S interesting! How thick this is i've never like used a cream hair color before i don't know why i chose today to do it but yeah here we are, i'm not really adding that much to my roots. I don't know if i really should, but i just want to make sure there's enough for all the actual colored parts of my hair, all right awesome. If i look calm like i definitely am not i'm bricks right now, like the funny thing too, is my boyfriend's in the living room. So if this ends up not looking okay, then happy to say, i have an audience, i'm trying to go fast too cause like. I don't want some pieces to be more developed than others, so your girl's working fast like i know it sounds easy, like oh yeah, just dye your hair, like one solid, dark color like what can go wrong. Um. If you don't get all of your hair freaking coated, then you're gon na have some uneven pieces, so i'm also just like separating my hair and seeing if any parts are dry. Oh, my god, like see, there are some parts that are just not covered at all. I know it may look like i'm being stingy, but it's literally because i do not have that much hair tie all right next section, there's not that much hair dye at all. I'M definitely going to get these front pieces. I feel like the top part, like that's the part. That is the most important, because that's what you see first, i regret not getting a second tube. I was so cheap. I was like nah. I don't want to spend more than 20 dollars like who has the mentality if you are dying, your hair at home girl spend at least 20 bucks, okay, she's not all covered, but i i really just have to work on this other section, so my hair looks Like i have all these weird layers, it's because i cut my hair really just doing everything myself all right. Last section i feel like this. One is the brassiest one too. So go me for saving it. For last guys, i am literally so close to being done with this entire hair dye, and there are definitely some sections that need some internally screaming like i don't even want to turn around and show you guys the back, because i will be so embarrassed and i Don'T want to do that to myself on the internet, so let's just pretend it's completely covered. Um, oh yeah, like there's a section right here, it's like not covered at all. I am so so sad, i'm done with this hair color like how did i not think to get more there's so many sections that don't have anything? What do i do most, i can really do, is just massage it. Hey siri, hey siri, set a timer for 25 minutes. Your timer is set for 25 minutes. Thank you again. I'M just gon na continue massaging the crap out of this making sure it's okay and i will get back to you guys in 25 minutes all right guys. It has been 25 minutes. I definitely grabbed the hair dye that i threw away in the trash and like squirted out as much as i could. There was like maybe one or two drops left and i mixed it in with developer, and then i threw it on whatever pieces. I could find that were like still brown but like honestly, like in the back, there are definitely some pieces that don't have dye on them. I'M really really nervous because guys, this just seemed like such a good idea, and now i'm really really scared. So i'm going to shampoo my hair with my maui moisture shampoo. I believe it's like a red one. It'S like a color, safe shampoo and then i'm going to be adding this ion after color sealer um. I just bought this like one pack at sally beauty, and this is supposed to protect and prolong color treatments by sealing in color, moisture and shine. So, let's leave it in for one to two minutes and then rinse after shampoo, i'm gon na rinse, my hair blow dry. It style it and i'll see you guys when i'm done all right and after blow drying and straightening my hair here we are, it has been a week, i think, since i've dyed my hair, and it may look like to you guys on camera that, like the Dye is slowly washing out because you can definitely see there are some like lighter pieces throughout my hair. No, that is because, as you guys saw like, as i was dying it i ran out of hair dye. So there are a lot of sections in my hair that i, that just aren't this like dark black color, there's like definitely some like brown peeping through i'm just gon na get another one um of these and retouch up the parts that i that never got hair Dye on them, but yeah this is where we're pretty much at it took me a little bit to get used to it, but i definitely like think it's a way better upgrade than what i had before. It looks a lot healthier now. You can't really see my split ends as easily as you did with, like my lighter hair, and i think this like hair color, just like suits my skin tone in general.
