What'S up my angels welcome and welcome back to my channel if you're new here, please consider hitting the subscribe button, because it's a fun time. Okay, this is what lockdown does to people so, if you've been following me for a while on social media, youtube, etc. You probably know that i used to have really really white silvery, bluish icy kind of hair, and i absolutely loved it. I had it for about six or seven years so way before the sort of silvery gray trend came in, i literally loved it, but if you've ever bleached your hair, you will know that bleach is the devil. I'M sure there are people out there that have got semi-healthy bleached hair, but for me having bleached hair, keeping it healthy, keeping it with the maintenance and the toning and the coloring for a prolonged period of time is just not possible. So when i started bleaching my hair, it was probably about the length it is now just below shoulder length and after years and years of bleaching and overly processing and toning to get it to that really white icy color. My hair began to break and snap and it just wasn't a great time so about two years ago i decided that i was going to let my natural roots start growing through and then, when they grew through, i was going to color them black and have sort Of like a black silvery, ombre kind of thing going on, so i kept that for a couple of months and in the end i just decided to go for it ball to the wall and just dye, it all dark. So that's the situation that we're in now and my hair's been this dark for just over 18 months now, it'll be two years in the summer and it's been great. If i'm honest, it's been so low maintenance. I literally don't have to worry about getting makeup. In my hair, getting tan in my hair, i don't have to worry about expensive trips to the salon. I literally just whack a box dye on my roots when they come through, put a load of conditioning treatments on it and that's it and, to be honest, my hair's been in pretty good condition. It has been growing. I'Ve not had extensions in now for over six months, which is a huge thing for me, because i've worn extensions since i was about 16, so we're talking over 10 years, and i like having my natural hair. However, we're in lockdown and apart from shaving all the sides off, i haven't really done anything crazy. So i thought it was time that we did now. I made a promise to myself a couple of years ago when i started letting my hair go dark that i would never ever ever put bleach on my hair again and i am going to stick to that promise. But for anyone that doesn't know my natural hair color is kind of a light, brownie albany gingery kind of thing. Obviously, i only see this when my roots come through, so i don't know what it's like all over, but that is how it was before i started colouring it, which was when i was about 13 or 14.. So i decided because we're in lockdown i've not got to go out the house. I'Ve not got to see anyone. Apart from everybody on youtube, i am going to try and strip the black hair dye out of my hair. Now, i'm terrible when it comes to dyeing my roots, i will literally just grab anything. I always try and get a semi-permanent black, but there have been occasions where i've grabbed like a permanent blue black or they didn't have semi, so i've just grabbed permanent. So basically, my hair is just layered upon layered of different hair dyes, different brands, semi-permanent permanent hair colour, it's a whole mess. So yesterday, when i was at the supermarket doing my weekly shop, i grabbed a couple of these guys. This is basically hair remover. It'S got! No bleach in it, it's got no ammonia, it's supposed to be safe and it's supposed to strip all of the colour out of your hair, including permanent black. So, last night, when i got home, i decided that i was gon na put it on and try and strip my hair out. Now. If you don't know how these work, they basically shrink the color molecules in your hair, so that they're then small enough to be rinsed away when you wash it. You have to leave these on for between 30 minutes to an hour, depending on what you're using and then you have to rinse your hair for at least 10 minutes. She doesn't sound like a long time, but we're talking three songs worth of rinsing and at the end of it, your arms get tired, and then you put the buffer on that's in the packet and it's supposed to have stripped the colour you can use these up To three times in one day, which shows that they can't be too damaging, because if you bleach your hair three times in one day, it would definitely fall out. So i did the first go yesterday and i'm gon na do another go with this guy today and then i think, to be honest, i'm probably gon na need to get another box and do it again because the ends are not lifting that quickly. Then i'm probably gon na need to wait for a couple of weeks, because if you apply hair dye onto your head too soon after you've used this, the cooling molecules that shrank before will just go back to the normal size, and your hair will literally just go Back to as dark as it was, it's like some bad magic. Okay, so let's just show you so this was last night's results. Are you ready for this yeah? Let'S just take my hair out, my hair's got no conditioner in it at the minute. So it's really dry and frizzy. Obviously you can see where the lights hitting it here is so light at my roots and then it's like a red sort of tone. If i lift my hair up, you can sort of see through how light and red that is so. Let'S talk about my thoughts on this okay, it's very very red, but from permanent black i'm actually quite impressed. I'M just gon na move you over to the light. So you can see now it strips the color so much from my roots, and this color that you can see here is actually pretty close to my natural color. Obviously, then, as we go down, you can see that it is darker and more red at the bottom, but for my first go, i'm actually really happy with it. You can see here at the sides where my side shave is. Obviously, this hair growing through is my natural color, which pretty much matches up with my root. It looks so much lighter and more sort of purpley red with the light from the window. So what we're going to be doing today is using the second box of this colour remover and i'm going to leave my roots because they're actually pretty much my natural color and the color. I wanted, and i'm just going to apply it from about here about an inch and a half down and just do these ends and try and get some more of this red sort of permanent colour out from the ends of my hair. You know i can't cope with having my hair down, so it's going up, so i'm going to put this on and i'll be back with you to show you where we're at after the second stage of colour removal fingers crossed okay. So i literally just started dyeing my hair, like in just a sports bra and my pajamas i'd put like the first section on and the doorbell goes and my delivery's here. I'Ve just answered the door like this and the guy said. There'S your password. I was like yeah thanks great and he went oh um good luck with whatever you're doing yeah bro thanks cheers have a great day. Okay, so this is probably the most attractive. I think i've ever looked in any video, but i didn't bother filming me putting the hair remover on my hair, because you all know how it works: small sections saturate, the hair, blah blah blah i've just finished, and i've covered my hair in cling film, because that Helps keep the heat in, which is what helps open the cuticle, so the shrink molecules can come out. It'S all, very scientific. So now that that's all on and i've used half a roll of cling film, i'm just gon na go and grab a towel. Okay, so i've just put a towel on my head and the reason i'm doing that is because you want to keep the heat in as much as possible, i'm just trying to give it extra layers of heat plus. I look less like an alien with a towel on my head and just more like a woman, that's just washed her hair. So i'm going to leave this on and then i'm going to go into the shower and do my half an hour rinsing process which is honestly, exhausting and i'll, be back with you as soon as i've rinsed it out. So we can see what's going on and this is the results out of the second color rinse now looking at it first, it doesn't look a great deal different, but if i hold my hair up to the light, you can see how red my hair actually is. Now this is obviously because the black and the brown and the dark blue and everything else i had on my hair is rinsing away, and this is obviously the color deposit that we're left with. So i am happier with it, but i'm still not completely happy. So i managed to get my hands on two of these. These are basically the same thing that i was using yesterday, but instead of being the max effect box, these are the max condition and i thought it was time to get some condition back in this dry hair because i've not been conditioning it after. I wash it because if the conditioner's got any silicones in it, then that can affect how well these colour removers work. I'Ve only been using one box on my hair and it just about. Does it. The hair is all covered, but i wouldn't say it's completely saturated. So this time i'm gon na go full on two boxes: absolutely soak my hair in this and rinse it for as long as i can physically take. So i'm gon na get on and do the third treatment in three days and i'll be back with you to show you how that's gone. Okay, so i am back. My hair is crazy. It feels so dry and frizzy. I'Ve just quickly dried it with a hair. Dryer, it's still a little bit damp, but i'm trying not to use too much heat on it, but this is the result. After the third colour removal treatment, it is really really red - it's not even showing up on the camera. How red it actually is. If i hold it up through the light again, you can see, but this is like box dye bright red like live color, xxl red berry, as i said before, i didn't really put it on the top, because this bit here, i'm really happy with that's pretty much. My natural color one good thing about this is, and i don't know how well it's going to show up on camera, is that it has rinsed out really evenly. So i'm not left with like any patches. I'M just trying to show you in the light here. The only bit that i've got a couple of patches is this bit here and i think that's where i've been lazy and not put my semi-permanent coloring properly, but it is bright and you can see it's not in the best condition. But it's not horrific. The ends are definitely going to need a little trim after this i am seriously contemplating doing a bleach bath on it and then waiting a week or so and then putting a colour all over it, because although this colour is absolutely gorgeous, i just want it lighter. I just want it more gingery and like this i don't know like i said this is the first time in years. I'Ve actually done anything to my hair other than just whack a box dye on it. It does feel dry and like it really needs a trim, but that's because my ends - probably from about here downwards, were all bleached, so it's just going to take it back to that nasty bleach condition. I probably should have put some makeup on at the end of this video, because makeup always makes you feel better. This is me fresh out the shower freshly color removed hair. I think to be honest for doing it three times with colour remover, which is not supposed to damage your hair at all. It'S gone quite well, just imagine the damage i would have done with bleach if i'd have gone in and bleached it from black straight. The way to this, so that is all for this video guys, if you liked it please hit subscribe, give the video a like, because it's always a fun time on this channel and i'll, see you all in my next video bye guys you

Max: Bleach literally straightened my 3b hair so I wasn't doing that again. This is a life saver!! Thank you!

Ash: Love this !black hair years now.absolutely dreading this red stage to get to the color i want .great honest video x

iFlugi: Omg I think this video will save my life! I was obsessed with black hair and I’ve dyed them black for 3 years now. I haven’t dyed them in a couple of months and my roots are a light brown! Looks horrible. I decided to go lights so this will be perfect to try and strip the black dye out before I do highlights!

Hope Browatzke: I bought this colour remover today actually !:) I have it in my hair right now as I’m typing this comment and it’s working quite fast to remove the dark brown so if anyone needs a good colour remover , this one really does work :)

Alegna: Cheers for this vid! I've got about 4 rounds of bleach on my mid to ends where it grew out from my roots (circa 2 years ago) but I've been using colour deposit shampoo to maintain my mauvey colour. I wanted to remove the colour so I could use a new teal colour deposit shampoo. Will definitely pick it up now!

Valerie Kerschner: i’ve been using black box dye for over a year now and i’m tired of seeing my light brown roots growing out and having to constantly dye them so i hope this works :)

Ocean Mergirl 🌊: I think the color you got is absolutely beautiful. Here I did color oops 3 TIMES! This is what happened after following the directions to a tee and even rinsing longer then after first one failed... When I took the cap off it definitely looked like it did something the rising and shampoo dried my hair SO badly and I lost a ton of hair why I was trying to get the dark brown out in the first place naturally light colored hair and from severe stress my hair was thinning plus gray hair coming in was making it just look awful and worse though if it wasn’t for these combined 3 things I rather liked my hair dark. Every time no matter what it re oxidized so I did all this damage, I had to also cut my hair it was damaged after being completely healthy for absolutely NOTHING! Even the last time I thought it did a teeny something next time I washed my hair was like I never did a thing AT ALL. This was after 3 times and increasing the rinsing beyond the minimum! I was so upset I would been so happy to get your results. Course this was a different brand Clairol color oops like I said but I will NEVER use it again and I researched it SO much before hand . I literally got more color out using dollar store vitamin C and dandruff shampoo then 3 boxes of Color oops at $10 a pop. Not even kidding under $5 dollar store shampoo and vitamins did more to lighten my hair and way less damage then color oops and didn’t stink or damage my hair. NOW I’m just gonna have to bleach bath it I’m so upset cause I really wanted to not go that route I didn’t want to so much go back to blonde but to take me down a few levels just so I could have a medium color so the problems I’m having are not as noticeable. Sometimes I think hair products in Britain are better then in the USA Oh and DID NOT do them all in one day either I gave my hair a break between each one and researched even more every time it reoxidized didn’t even so much as take the last color off my roots. Your color I would been thrilled! Hell if it done ANYTHING I would be ok it’s that I went through all that the smell the rinsing and shampooing for over an hour the sitting in summer with no A/C because cold can effect and almost passing out to have absolutely nothing but severe damage to my hair and more hair loss only now to have to resort to bleach is what kills me plus wasted money. to hair gods the bleach doesn’t make it worse been a few weeks and hair cut since I finished last box of color oops with absolutely no success

XElx18 Xx: Depending on how many dark colours you’ve added on to your hair the longer it will take to get rid! This is why it’s better to do a bleach I know it can damage your hair but it’s the only way it’s gonna lift help make the process faster

Frankie Allison: I just did this, I dyed my hair purple black and red about a month ago, from bleach blonde and it took quite a lot out. It's best for buildup but I'd have tried bleach for black to blonde but depends on how you feel about bleach etc but meh! You're so funny too I love this vid

Melissa Sponseller: I used it on my red hair too get rid of dark burgedy colour hair. Love it its a life saver. Will do a second treatment a week later then do a opalex 3 treatment

Lo Loulou: This really worked for you, looks fab! When I did it on mine twice, my hair oxidises back dark again:/ x

Lana Roberts: It worked really well! Personally I love the red lol. Doing mine after a couple years of box black . Send prayers

Courtney Smith: This is me now, second lockdown now decided to get rid of the box die black hair

LOL BIZARRE: I dyed my hair black in September and now I want to dye it red and right now my hair is black drown blue and blond so I definitely need to do this

Laura Harper: i REALLY needed this, thankyou!!! i am naturally ginger and have been dying my hair black for 2 years and i now i want to remove it, i used one box and it only did stuff to my roots, i was thinking what have i done wrong!?!! but i found this video and now i know i clearly need to do it more than once, you explained it really well also so thankyou!! x

ems x: hey! you may not see this but i’m looking for some tips because i’m going back blonde. my natural hair colour is a dark/light blonde. i have only bleached my hair once but i noticed no damage and my hair wasn’t dry afterwards- i would say my hair is in really good hair condition right now and i’ve dyed my hair many times, too many times to say i’m 15. i am getting my hair professionally done but i’m extremely nervous as i’ve never dyed my hair black before and gone blonde when i’ve had black hair. my hair is black, but it looks brown too. my hair is NOT a jet black colour but it does look brown in the sun. i’m very impulsive and wish i could wait to dye my hair but i can’t, it’s difficult for me to wait around and that sometimes can end up with serious consequences (i’ve had many hair incidents) i am getting my hair done in 2 sessions to go blonde hopefully in january time. should i remove the black box dye before getting it bleached as if i do it before january i would be waiting for a week or two before i get my hair done anyways. i’m not sure how it will look but it can’t look any worse as i’ve only ever dyed my hair with an actual black box dye once and that was around nearly 4 months ago (been growing it out ever since) it most likely won’t damage my hair anyways so i’m wondering if theres anything i could do to make the process as easy as possible with minimum damage:)

Abbie Wheatley: looks really good it done a really good job at removing the dark colour x

BBK JORDZ: Wow it really does work just did mine, some light browns but has took it back thats just after one box. Might try one more haha ! Your hair looks great! X

Queeny: remember girls this is colour on colour on colour on colour, hair is porous the longer it is...& the more dye will be on it SO......use it on the ends first then after half an hour take it the roots...

fruitshootslaps: Omg my god thank you so much, I was scared to try it because I thought it would make my hair blonde!

Andrea Barnfather: I have used a similar product on my hair. Can I ask if the smell stayed in your hair for ages afterwards? Did mine on Friday and can't get the smell out

Sabrina: So much honesty love this

Iman Dar: My natural colour is brown but I bleached my hair and dyed it a lighter brown. I really want to take the light brown out and dye it grey, will this work for me? I love your videos btw!! You’re gorgeous

Jade Taylor Marchant: I was naturally dark brown and consistently dyed it all kinds of red its been 3/4 months and there is a red still in my hair lol

Kristie Oneill: You have to keep the color remover warm if it’s too cold in the room it makes a difference use a blow dryer for 15 mins

Josie Luckhurst: Does your hair feel more brittle or damaged than before you removed the colour dye?? I wanna do it but I'm worried my hair will get damages

MissJodie: I was impressed with the product. Cost me $35 at New World. My hair dye was dark brown almost black. My hair is now brown. I will probably need to use this product 1 more time to go a bit lighter. My natural colour is light brunette

amber cobbin: What box dye brand did you have on first?? As I’m trying to go red.. from black and struggling so might use colour remover then red but I’ve used LIVE hair dye...

Lynn Gill: Your natural colour is glorious Great vid thanks

Gloomy: Want to get back to my natural hair...im scared....lots and lots of layers and bleached areas. Its going to be a Journey. Watching this made me not scared that my hair would fall out like bleach. So thank you For that safety

Wit’s End Art Studio: Thank you for sharing this

maddie loges: Hi! Thanks so much for this helpful video you look so good! I just died my hair permanent dark ass brown (almost black) and the box said medium golden brown. I’m so upset do you think this process with harm my hair if I do it right after I just dyed it??

Micaela HB03: For me, It mainly took out the top of my head/roots, but the rest of my hair was left dark...

Demi Dodd: I’ve dyed my hair a lighter blonde before using box dyes, but then recently dyed it Demi permanent black and it only seems to be my roots washing out, but I wanna go back to blonde so would this work ? What would I need to do ?

Sandra Angelina: Thank you!!! I am also going to try to go from black and back to blonde.. Just ordered this product and already excited to try

Ulfet Sahin: It is really good, i got rid of my blackest black hair but still it smells so bad. I washed 5 times, what should i do

niamh lxx: My hair has been growing out for quite a while so there’s black box dye at the bottom of it and a lot of the top is virgin hair, if I put this all over my hair would it change the colour of my virgin hair or should I just put it at the bottom?

Jessica Sikorski: THANKYOUUUUU omg im natural red head and have dyed mine black this HELPS ALOTTT THANKYOU❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Kelly K.: Finally found a video I was after, actual black diy hair box that has been used for a long period of time.. I have been diy my hair with black hair dye for years. And now at 35 all my regrowth is coming in Grey. So I look like a skunk. I'm sick of re-dying my roots. And was thinking of going lighter then getting some high or low lights to blend it all a bit better. Cool I'm definitely going to save some dollars and my hair doing some diy colour removing before I hit the salon.

Lucy O'brien: hey, I dyed my hair black a few months back, to which it faded to a brown and I've been stuck with it since. I really want it back to the pure white colour I had it.. I bought this and I've used it three times now. it is definitely working, it's now a dark blondish colour, but do you think its normal to have to repeat it over three times?? many thanks x

taynr r: lol so i dyed my hair black black and it’s really uneven in spots. i haven’t done conditioning treatments yet to get it out and my hair naturally is a golden blonde? would it be safe to use this? i don’t want it to lift unevenly

Danielle Young: Would you say the last box you used was better at stripping the colour? Or that was just because you had done it three times?

Nikki: 2 questions 1st: Where do i get this product ?! 2nd : my hair is black due to box hair dye i actually wanna get it a dark red so the red color due after the color removal actuall appeals mice does it do it to all black hair dye ? my natural hair is dark brown

georgia holliegrace: Will this work on faded permanent purple? Love this video btw x

Sarah Mills: Hi great video.Love your hair colour. My hair colour is dark red would you recomend the colourless or a bleach bath to remove the red.

SavageVPF B: I needed this video in 2019 xx

Elena Sultan: Don't put bleach! I wanted same colour like you and I done the colour before also end up reddish ginger. I left is for a months just kept washing hair with natural shampu sometime added lemon juise on hair. Onece it washed a bit I put colour ash blond and all the brassy hair was gone I end up being light natural brown since then I don't colour hair no more I only wash it wish blue shampu twice per week

Nichola Dawn: I have shoulder length hair and I have bought 3 boxes, because there is only 60×60×60ml of colour remover in each box. Yours is thicker and longer than mine

Ruby Mcmullen: Im literally gonna cry i had really nice brown and blonde hair and then my mum got me red dye when i wanted dark brown and i didnt read the box so i dyed it black last night and its got a blue tint. I hate it sm omg

シsumi: Heyy So I bleached my hair in a salon then dyed it a light color that i didn't like Then dyed it again a medium brown but after a while turned out to be really ugly bcz some spots are dark and other spots are light I want to fix it with this remover any opinions? wish me luck :')

Alice Walker: How are you travelling with the results over time? I've previously used the Jobaz colour remover and been really happy with it. I couldn't find it in stock anywhere so gave the Colourless a try. It seemed like it did a good job "removing" the colour initially but each time I wash my hair not only does it stink of sulphur but the colour is reappearing. After about five washes it's pretty much as if I never used it. I followed the instructions 100% diligently Obviously the colour wasn't actually removed and is reactivating with the heat and water ‍♀️

Amy: im about to buy this but im not sure how many boxes to buy? my hair is midish length not long but not short if you get me? x

Zoe Mason: By heck you've got some patience lass!! Bet you're arms are like a Russian shotputer now haha, Looks great by the way well done

Aga Ana: I turn this on to have something in the background (i just love to listen to those vids ) and i thought that was MoD speaking in this video no joke.

Caisey: My hair went exactly the same off this product but I don’t no what to put on it I don’t want to stay this colour anyone have any suggestions???
