Today we have in front of us Ellen Villa's girl, mono and the three newest colors that they've brought to that style. They'Ve expanded the girl mono to some additional blondes and another gray, we're gon na break these down to find out which one might be for you coming up. All of those links are below the video so before we get started, I'm wearing the Ellen Villas turn in Champagne rooted, champagne root is is also available on the girl, mono Style. In fact, I believe that before now it was the only light blonde in that color palette, so we're super excited that they've expanded The Ellen Villas girl, mono color palette, to include two new blondes and a beautiful gray, so they've expanded it to the platinum blonde rooted. We have Pearl blonde rooted and then the stone gray mix, so I have them lined up on the mannequins today, so we could see them side by side, but I'll try them each on for you as well. A girl mono is a short to mid-length curly style. It'S very much like their Anda if you've experienced Honda, but girl mono's been around a little bit longer and is really really popular. So just running down the specs of this style really quickly. Uh girl, mono features a beautiful six and a half inch Fringe, a 12 about a 12 inch overall length in its curl pattern. It weighs about three ounces, it's really lightweight and it features a temple to Temple, lace, front and left monofilament side part. I will try to get up close on the lace when I try these on, but I want to look at the colors right now, so, let's break down these colors. So let's start with the two brand new blondes that have come to this line. Now again, the champagne rooted was until now the the lightest rooted one in that color palette for girl, mono and champagne rooted is a combination of some darker and some lighter gold blondes on a medium brown root. So the platinum blonde rooted is a blending of some pale natural blonde. There'S a couple of different white Shades in there. One would be more of a pearly white, which kind of gives the effect of a toned White and then there's also just more of a flat white in there as well. So this is a very light very pale blend and you can get some Icy, real icy notes in there from that Pearl and then all of that on a medium brown root. Okay, any root color is probably going to stand in great contrast to such a pale. Color, but that is a medium brown root now moving on, then, let's take a look at Pearl blonde rooted, so Pearl blonde rooted is a combination of some medium Ash, some natural and some pale Pearl platinum in there. It is also a neutral to cool tone overall and has a medium brown root. You can see the rooting from all angles and you can actually see all this variation. It'S very Dynamic, isn't it I really like this one now, if you take the Pearl blonde rooted next to the champagne root, and you can see all of the golden blondes, the warmer tones in the champagne rooted compared to the Pearl blonde rooted. So, lastly, let's move on to the stone gray rooted, so the stone gray rooted, starts with a light brown and then it's highlighted all over with a white and a gray tone. Now I did notice that on this you can definitely see some of the brown pulled through okay and you can definitely pick up on a little bit of a toned effect. So this is not a silver color, but when it is a frosted with so much white you're, truly getting that salt and pepper mix, it's kind of a coarse blending. But you can see all colors from all angles of the style. And then you will also get a medium brown root on this one as well. So it is a rooted color, so you can definitely get an idea of which one may be for you just by seeing them side by side. Each one of these is a very cool tone, the palest and coolest blonde in the middle. Then we've got an intermediate step between the platinum blonde and the champagne I feel like this is a really nice neutral to cool mix and then a very cool mix here on the stone, gray rooted, perfect mix up of those colors. So I'm just going to go ahead and try these on, for you we'll examine the lace fronts and just get to know this style a little better. Now all three of these girl mono styles, are right out of the box, so I haven't used any product. I just simply shook them out placed them on my head and found a natural parting space, which is, along that left hand monofilament part. Let'S get up close on the lace front. This is the platinum blonde rooted. It'S a beautiful, extended lace, front, no visible seams. Although you can see a little line of that highlight that I see white highlight coming right up to the lace front now that does soften it. Quite a bit you'll see highlights mixed in with that root all the way around. So you see what I mean about being such an icy cool mix. Any warmth is at all it's just coming from that natural blonde and don't worry a lot at these really pale. Blondes do come across shiny uh on camera, probably because the glare off of the light, these aren't terribly shiny and there's a lot you can do to Tamp down shine. This is just an unavoidable consequence of a regular synthetic fiber that is really pale in color. So this time I have on the Pearl blonde rooted, this is perhaps my favorite with a curly style. You can definitely see variables in the curl pattern from piece to piece, and this is my favorite of the three just in terms of its curl pattern. It has a nice choppy curl pattern to it kind of an air, dried look which is really what I like. Yet it's very soft as well you're, going to see that volume pool at the bottom more at the bottom of the Style again right around 12 inches. So going to be just above the collar on most of you, and I I really love how this one allows me to Contour that Fringe off of the face a little bit, the other two kind of lay flat against the forehead, and I would have to use Product and styling in order to get it to do an up and over, but this one was kind of this way right out of the box again Purl blonde rooted, beautiful cool mixture. My favorite blonde in the Elden Villa line again girl mono, is made from that. Regular synthetic fiber - these are not heat friendly and see here they just do a very minor disbursement of that highlight. I think it's really really well done, so. Here'S that stone gray mix now I personally like this color a lot more than I thought I would. I am not a big fan of gray tones, but I got ta tell you this one is really nice. It'S just a like. I say a light brown mixed in there and blended with a couple of different, well there's a white and then there's a gray which comes across a little more silver, the perfect little salt and pepper. Look now this one does have a root. So if you enjoy the gray tones without the root just be aware, this one does have a root. I think it gives it a lot of depth and dimension. It'S very, very wearable. Let'S take a look at that lace front. Then you definitely can see the banding of the white and the gray right up against that lace front now. The knots are very fine and I do like I do like the way it feels against the forehead too. It'S not an itchy, scratchy kind of lace. Front Ellen Villa Styles tend to fit me very well with the petite average circumference. But again, I think of all three of these uh. This one has even a little bit of a different curl pattern. Overall, it seems a little softer to me, although I can't really see the back, so I really think that this color expansion for the girl mono is going to hit the sweet spot for a lot of you.
