Raquel Welch Fascination Wig Review | Low Density | Affordable | Every Day Style | Good Quality!

Hey everybody welcome back to texasway closet at wig studio, one here to inspire and Empower your wig Journey. Today we're going to take a look at a legacy: Raquel Welch style. This one is called Fascination in the color biscuit, which is RL 1923.. We'Re going to break down this style, um I'll, reveal the cap in all of the details on this. I'M also inducting this into my affordable series, because I think there's a really nice value here. Coming up foreign is a cute little shaggy, highly textured pixie style cut. I have some Fringe and some beautiful sculpting and Tailoring I purchased this style from wig studio one you can find it there too. All of those links are below so lots of wigs can be affordable, right um, but that doesn't always mean that they're, a really good value. So the value proposition for me would be a good price point and a good quality, and I think both of those things are coming together for this style here um. I think the price on this right now is under 100 under a hundred and fifty dollars and that's before any coupons or discounts are applied. So if you can find this on sale um, you might be able to get this for around a hundred dollars. I think is an incredible value for the money. So let's talk about this, so we talked about this being a short little shaggy, pixie style, and it's just so well sculpted, it's it's really cute. It has beautiful coverage and that front Fringe is about four and a half inches. That gives you a little something to play with around the face. I love that, especially on an open cap style like this there's no laser monofilament. So you have to be careful that you have all the good things around the face to cover the wig line and then in the back about four and a half inches on the crown, and I always say that that is my ideal length on a pixie. For a crown around four inches or so because what that does it gives you a little bit of a silhouette in the back. Okay gives me a little height that I love um, but it also prevents it from looking like a flat tapered back. Okay. Now this one has that four and a half inch Crown and then it tapers into a two and a quarter inch Nave, I feel like the nape, is really ample and has decent coverage back there and then all this Shaggy texture kind of give it a little Bit of a wedge kind of effect, going all the way up. Okay, it weighs about two and a half ounces. So it's really lightweight. I hardly even sense that it's on and that's one of the beauty, the beautiful things about wearing a pixie is that it's just so easy. It'S easy! You don't even know it's there. So, if you're looking for that style, where you can just plug and chug, this one would be a contender now again just mentioning again that it is an open cap style, meaning there's. No laser monofilament you'll find open wefts on the top sides, and back and also you want to know that this is made from the true to life fiber by Raquel Welch, which is, is heat friendly. So you can take heat to this, just to tweak it into something that will work for you now. I happen to love it. Just like this directly out of the box. All I did was take it. I just took it out of the box. Remove the tags shook it out a little bit, applied it and then just sort of swirled around and that's all I have done I've not used any product. I'Ve not used any heat on this. I was kind of fiddling around to see if I wanted a parting space, you really don't have to have one on this style um. You can part it anywhere you like, but you also don't have to part it at all. So sometimes, if you just take your fingers and sort of fluff up the top and allow the fiber to fall where it may that'll give you the most natural look and again loving that little bit of Fringe around the face. There'S plenty of good coverage at the ear tab, just kind of scooping those spiky textured layers right in front there. It Scoops around the ear nicely and let's talk permatease though so there is permatease on this anytime. You have an open top or open wefted style you're. Going to have some permatease that permatease obscures the wefting, but it also provides a little bit of lift so you're going to find most of your permatease at the top and at the crown it's the thick pillowy pillowy heavy type of permatease. Now, what that's going to do is not only give you good coverage, but also allow you to get just a little bit of height, and I love that on a boy cut style like this, because on a boy cut style like this, you generally have a slim Profile at the temple, and then you have all of your lift and volume at the top and the crown and then back into a slim nape. That gives it that sculpted look. So it's just it's just all the right amounts and all the right places to achieve and support the identity of the style in terms of density. This is a nice light density, so a lot of times you can reach in and feel that it feels kind of thick and heavy. That'S just the permatease there's, actually a nice light density in terms of just overall fiber on this one. The other style that I'd like to mention from the Raquel Welch line is Sparkle. I have done video on Sparkle. I love that style. That'S really cute! It'S a very similar pixie um. It might be a little shorter in some of its Dimensions, but also has a little bit of wave and body to it as opposed to this one. Now, in some pictures it doesn't appear that way, but the piece that I had had a little bit of wave, especially at the crown and Sparkle, comes in average, petite and large. So if you like, a style like this um, but you are petite or large, go look at Sparkle by Raquel Welch. I think you will really like that style as well now the fit on this one is very average. I don't know if it's, because it is a legacy, Raquel Welch style, meaning the style has been out for a long time that it fits me better if it's more average than the average large that I was expecting. So this is a real winning style. In my book - and I feel that way because of everything it has to offer and a lower price point which equals a tremendous value to me, foreign Raquel, Welch's, Fascination, you'll notice, there's a beautiful velvet piece right at the front that makes it really soft comfortable against The skin and you do have a bit of a hidden weft there right at the front, little bitty hairs there to kind of give you a realistic hairline. Then you have open wefts on the top sides and back open ear, tabs lots of fiber spliced in there. For good coverage, an extended open, nape with velcro style, adjusters, lots of wefting and quite a bit of stretch. Actually now I was able to get a secure fit with a very minimal adjustment. This tells me it's probably average right out of the box could probably stretch to average large or be cinched in and adjusted for petite average, with glasses, no surprise that glasses fit beautifully between the ear and the ear tab. I love glasses with a little pixie, so I'm just going to move and ship this around. I have no idea what I'm going to do yet, but you can learn a lot just by watching somebody manipulate a wig style.
