Wig Review: Wavy Day By Raquel Welch In Shaded Sand For Wigsbypattispearls.Com

Hi everyone erin here from real wig fun, thanks so much for joining me. So today we're going to take a look at what is my brand new favorite style, which is raquel welch wavy day, and i have it in the color ss sand. So first i want to thank wigs by paddy's pearls for supplying this gorgeous style, so i could bring a review for you today. Okay, so let's jump into it. As i said, this is my new favorite. If you recall my favorite wig up to this point has been raquel welch simmer and there is a tremendous number of similarities between simmer and wavy day. So if you stay tuned, um we'll talk a little bit more about that. So this gorgeous style is brand new. For 2022 from raquel welch wigs - and it is absolutely stunning - and it's incredibly on trend with the look that so many of us love and are searching for, which is that sort of soft waves appeals really to many women of all ages. And it is a lob. So opposed to a bob, it just means that it's slightly longer than the traditional bob. I love this length because it makes me feel like i'm wearing long hair like i've got long hair, but with it still being able to be very wearable um from day to day so wavy day is from raquel welch's signature collection. It has an average sized cap and is made of their gorgeous true to life heat defiant, synthetic fibers which i've come to love, as many of you already know, so this style has a full monofilament top. It has an extended lace. It'S made out of raquel welch's memory cap, three construction, which is incredibly comfortable okay, so why don't? I do a turn so that you can see wavy day from all sides. So clearly, this is my friend. This is my left side. I love these gorgeous waves. I think they're so beautiful. This is the back great movement of the fibers. The cap feels incredibly comfortable. This is my right side and then back to the front. So, as i mentioned, this style has a full monofilament top, which means you can part it in any direction within that monofilament space and still get the illusion of scalp. So let me show you, as you can see, i have it parted. On the left hand, side, the density on this wig i find is very realistic. We can see a good illusion of scalp, which is amazing, the lace front i'll get up close so that you can see that you've got the lace that runs all the way into the ear tabs. That'S a little bit of my own bio hair, but true to raquel welch's, you know lace fronts. This is done incredibly beautiful. I think with the conf. I would be able to wear this with confidence in wearing this style back away from my face, because of that incredible hairline or down whatever i wish, which i love the flexibility of being able to do both so pretty much. This style is all one length, but let's look at the dimensions, so these front sections, the bangs, if you will, which is classified as these sections here at the front - are 11.5 inches. The crown which is here down is 12 and a half. The nape is seven and a half, the sides are nine and a half and the back is 11 and a half inches and all in this wig weighs 4.3 ounces. So it's incredibly light and comfortable on your head. So, as i mentioned earlier, i love this length and here's a couple of reasons why i love it down, but there is also enough length to be able to put it up into a low ponytail, which i think would look really cute. You know you could pull out some of these pieces in the front. If you wanted, you could put it in a gorgeous updo. If you were looking to go out, there's a lot of flexibility. You could use. You know a clip if you wanted to clip it to the side. There'S lots of great ways to style this cute style, whether you want it to be casual or you want to dress it up. The nice thing is you have flexibility to do both okay. So let's go ahead and take the cap off, so i can show you the inside of wavy day and why don't we take one quick, look at this gorgeous color, which is ss sand or shaded sand? You may see it also listed that way. So, as i mentioned, this is a memory cap 3 and one of the distinguishing factors of a memory. Cap 3 is you'll, see these silicone strips within the wefting. What that helps to do is to keep a snug fit on your head, whether you have bio hair, like myself or if you have complete hair loss, either way. This is an incredibly comfortable cap. There is your full monofilament top that allows you to part anywhere within this space, as we saw earlier, the density is excellent, so, wherever you part it within here, you are definitely going to get a realistic illusion of scalp, which is one thing that i really love. The this lace front runs all the way into the ear tabs, and so, if you followed me for a while, you know that this is one of the cat features that gives me the confidence to be able to wear the hair off my face. So i love that you do have open wefted sides and back felt covered ear tabs with metal stays. It does also have an extended nape which helps to keep that wig really in place at the back of your neck. There are the velcro strap adjusters, so you can pull those in to customize the fit of this cap for your head circumference. So many of you know that my favorite blonde from raquel welch has always been shaded biscuit and a number of months ago i got raquel welch, let's rendezvous in this color, which is shaded sand, and the code on this color is rl16-21ss. That ss stands for shaded. So, as you can see, it is a shaded color and it is a shaded light blonde with medium brown roots. So this is, in my opinion, incredibly close to shaded biscuit it's a tiny bit warmer um, but not too warm. It hits that real balance. So i have shaded biscuit in wavy day right here, so perhaps, if i put it side by side, you can see the difference in the two shades. So this is certain. This is shaded biscuit this one is slightly cooler and you know what for me. I know most people go lighter in the summer and uh darker in the winter and i actually do the opposite. I tend to go a little bit darker in the summer because, as my skin gets quite deep and tanned, some of these warmer shades and darker shades look a little bit more natural on me, as my skin gets really dark. So i am absolutely loving ss sand. If you love shaded, biscuit um, i guarantee you you are going to like this one as well. So earlier i mentioned that this style wavy day reminds me a lot about um, raquel welch's simmer, and i have simmer here in shaded biscuit now. I'M gon na put it up side by side. This wavy day is a little bit longer, but has very similar wave patterns to simmer. So if you are a lover of simmer like i am but you're looking for something with just a little bit more length, you need to check out wavy day. So i can, with confidence, tell you that i am thrilled to have two wavy days, one in ss sand and one in shaded biscuit because i see this one as my all-time new favorite and it is going to be getting a lot of wear in the months To come so anyways, i hope you've enjoyed this quick.
