Wig Review: Ocean By Estetica In Caramel Kiss

Hey y'all welcome back to the hair, I wear for wigs by Patti's pearls calm. I am Lauren and I have a gorgeous Aesthetica piece for you today. So let me introduce you to ocean. This is part of aesthetic as front lace line collection, and I am showing you the color caramel kiss now a few months ago I reviewed Aspen and she was also caramel kiss and I absolutely loved that piece loved the color love the curl, patter and loved everything About that piece, and as soon as I pulled this out of the box, it reminded me of Aspen now the curl pattern on this is a little looser, but it's the same color, it's the same concept. This one is also a little bit different in that it does not have a monofilament top. It has a lace front. Let me show you, I think Aspen may have had a mono part, but this is constructed a little bit differently. So you can see the lace front here. It goes back about two inches, so you'll be able to get about a two inch long part up top, and then it immediately goes into this wedding in the back now. This is great for stretch and comfort. As far as breathability, it's going to keep you nice and cool, but because it has that wedding you're not going to get a very long part line. It does have quite a bit of permit ease back here, and that is also something when there's a lot of weft hang up top. Traditionally there is permit ease up there. That'S gon na give you some good volume, so I haven't tried her on yet, but we're gon na have to see how this works out, but we'll give her a test here in a minute. Okay, let's talk about the length of this, so the bang on this one is 11 inches long, so it has a little bit shorter piece in the front. The sides are ten and a half inches from the crown down is 13 inches and from the nape down is 11 inches. Now this is a synthetic fiber. It also has an adjustable base right here, so you can tighten up around Nate. It has adjustable ear tabs for a nice fit around the ears to hold it in place and let's see what else can we say about her she's, an average cap size, so I'm gon na go put her on, so we can see what she is all about. Be screen shot ready because here are all the details on ocean by Aesthetica. Okay here she is. This is ocean bias, etiquette and color caramel kiss. So let's talk about this color real quick. I really love this color. This is a medium brown with some caramel and golden blonde highlights in it. So it's definitely kind of a summertime. Look there's a lot of blonde running through it. I think the color placement is really good. It'S not overly highlighted, and I love how it works with the curl. You know, as the curl kind of turns in you can see some of the blonde streaks running through it. So I think they did a really great job with the placement of the highlights in this piece again. This is part of their front lace line collection. So let me show you the lace front here. The lace front is amazing, I mean, can y'all even see it. It'S fabulous it comes down to here. You can see my widow's peak popping through with the blonde pieces in the lace I mean, are virtually undetectable the you can't even see now the darker pieces that are in there it's really hard to hide some dark knots in a lace front. You have to bleach the underside of them like you're, just gon na see dark knots in a lace front, but I would say that it's not bad. It'S not bad at all. Now remember: we talked about how the lace only goes back so far, so it goes to about right here and because I do have hair right here, a darker brown hair. You can see some of the dark brown peeking through with that lace front. So if I really wanted to make this look natural, I would need to wear a wig cap to kind of disguise side and give it more look of scalp now back. Here is the wedding and there's a lot of permit ease back here, so you can get some big hair back here. I was just playing around with it before I hit record, and I mean with that permit ease back there. If you want some poofy hair, you can get some poofy hair back there. This is made for volume up top. That'S why they didn't do a mono top. They put that permit ease in there, so you could get some volume in with these curls. So I don't wear it quite this big. I would probably tone it down a little bit and just let the curls kind of fall loose and natural. Now this is a synthetic fiber. It is not overly silky. I feel like it has a realistic, feel and look to it, which is great. It'S not overly shiny, you're, not gon na have to do any D shining to this piece. I think the fibers are fantastic. Okay. I also like this front piece right here. How this is just a personal preference? I just think this is really great how it's straight right here and then falls into this curl like. I think that, oh no just something about this front piece, I think, is really natural and I just love the way it falls. That'S just personal preference. Okay, let me give you all a 360 of the ocean, so you can see here from all sides. Now I'm getting the hang of this 360, I have to lower the seat. Yeah I've gone off camera a couple times with the 360, so you can see the loose wave here, how it just Falls really natural and of course, I'm going to run into my backdrop as always: here's the back and then the front, alright, so the fit. This is an average capsize, it's not squeezing my head in any way that your tabs are fitting exactly where they're supposed to so. I would say this fits true to size. I think it is a cute cute little piece now personally, if I we're looking for a curly piece by Aesthetica, I would probably go with the Aspen and that's just personal preference. I prefer a piece that doesn't have a lot of parties in it, and this does - and I know a lot of you, ladies, like the permit, ease and like having that built-in volume and not having to worry about it falling flat. But if you were just looking for like an everyday curly piece, I think Aspen might be a better choice simply because you can get the mono part with it and it has a little bit more of a natural part line to it. This is going to be kind of tough with the lace here, especially if you have hair up front like I do kind of hiding those the darker hair. So you might want to check her out, but again, if this is what you're looking for with the the permit ease in it. I think this curl pattern is great. The color is amazing. Alright there she is.
