Info from Headcovers.com

-Human hair individually hand placed on a skin-like, flexible gel backing, for the most natural eyebrows. Gives the appearance of real hair growing from the brow line.

-For those who have lost their eyebrow hair, this is the closest thing on the market to real eyebrow hair.

-"Eyebrows can be worn for several days at time without reapplying. They will last for months if properly cared for." -Headcovers.com

-Can be enhanced with an eyebrow makeup to modify shape and color.

-Can be cut to shape if desired.

-"Most customers find that they can wear a single pair of eyebrows for 2-4 months, if worn daily. They can be worn in the shower, although prolonged submersion is not recommended. We do not recommend wearing them in the pool, due to the harshness of the pool's chemicals." -Headcovers.com

ALOPECIA AWARENESS

Did you Know?

Alopecia areata is known as a “polygenic disease.” This means that, unlike a single-gene disease, both parents must contribute a number of specific genes in order for a child to develop it. Because of this, most parents will not pass alopecia areata along to their children. With identical twins — who share all of the same genes — there’s only a 55% chance that if one has alopecia areata, the other will, too. This is why scientists believe that it takes more than just genetics to cause the disease and that other environmental factors also contribute to people developing alopecia areata.

TYPE OF ALOPECIA I HAVE:

Alopecia Universalis

Alopecia Universalis is more advanced than alopecia totalis. This type results in hair loss across the entire scalp and face (including eyebrows and eyelashes), plus the rest of the body.

Hey guys welcome back to my channel if you're new here my name is Angelica Kalinda's and I have alopecia universalis and today we're going to be doing a review on these brow. Waves from head covers calm. They were about 55 dollars, but it is a wig for your brows. So this is what the wig looks like I'm gon na go ahead and take it out ignore my nails. I just cut them and I still need to give myself a manicure, but this is what they look like. I found it interesting that this one is a little bit look good. So we'll see what it looks like on before we get started, I'm gon na go ahead and remove any excess oil. On my face. I did just wash my face about 30 minutes ago, so there is moisturizer on my face. I'M gon na go ahead and take 99.9 % alcohol and a cotton pad, and then, if I need to maybe a q-tip, I'm gon na go ahead and do that, okay, they feel pretty dry. Now, oh man, this is nerve-racking. Thank you. Okay. So before we get started, I'm just gon na read some of the directions. It says carefully. Remember tray. Here we go to apply, use the inside corner the eye to determine where the eyebrow should begin apply. Small amount I rallied, he said, which is the spirit now and then you need to hold it for approximately 60 seconds, light pressure and then a light touch. And then it says to avoid unwanted adhesive from nodding the eyebrows press on with a comb or a toothbrush. So I got my ed brush to avoid damage: do not pull hairs or stretch unnecessarily. Okay, okay! Well, I'm gon na start with this one. Okay, so I want to show you guys up close what it looks like. So this is the brow and then behind. It looks like this, so I feel like this is gon na be a really sticky job, so I'm gon na keep it on the tray and then I'm gon na apply a little bit of glue. Oh dear okay, okay, I mean Isis use a toothbrush instead, okay, so this is to hold for 60 seconds. Oh, don't spoil the glue. Okay, I'm gon na put a tiny bit on my tweezers, so you can get right underneath where I can see that there's not enough glue. Okay, so so far this like the mid to the tail doing great, like 100 %, but this front part - I don't know if it's because there's not enough glue there, but it's not to only put a little bit or there's not it's like sparse a little bit. But I think it'll be okay, once makeup balls on it, but it's like lifting a little. The hairs are like really coarse, interesting mmm, like ASMR hearing this okay, I got one on see the other one. Okay, this time, I'm gon na put a little bit more glue, just cuz felt like it needed more in first. Why are the tail so short, interesting yeah see, I don't know why it said only put a little bit. It does better with more glue that one, like the lace, is like invisible, completely invisible like what the heck okay. So my opinion is it's like saturated enough like evenly saturated because they decide to only use a little bit of glue. But this one looks so much better than this one I feel like. I need to redo this. If you guys can see into this it's already lifting right there. This side is doing pretty good. Oh, it's still lifting at the bottom here: okay, cool, I'm gon na just go ahead and like put a little bit more glue and see what we get from that. So I'm gon na go ahead and attempt to fill these in as if they're real eyebrows. With, of course, caution, cuz, it's not they're, still, not real, but look they're like on there. I just how am I gon na do this? I think I'm gon na start with my Rayleigh brow: pencil, okay, change of plans, I'm gon na start my brows with powder and said because the pencil seems like it was too rough on the road because I don't want it to come off. This is honest: hacia brow, powder duo, L and it's in the shade chocolate. This is draining out pretty funny. Okay, let's try the other one. I don't know how I feel. Yet it is pretty easier than drawing on from scratch, but I I just wish the gluing process was a little better and that could be just my fault, because I've never done this before on myself. So so far, I'm not hating it I'm just it's weird right. It'S so weird to just have all of a sudden like brows, on your face: okay, they're, really messy, Oh Mike now, to shape my brows, I'm taking my Smashbox Studios, skin flawless concealer, not bad. Okay, I'm gon na see if I can get rid of this line by putting like brown, but they look pretty natural, it's kind of cool, okay. I might regret this, but I'm gon na go ahead and take my eye. Stila stay all day, waterproof brow, color and see. If I can just paint where that line is where's the to dark. I don't like the way that they're coming out, so I'm gon na go ahead and remove it. The good part is, is I'm trying the remover for you guys and it did really good removing it. My skin is just really drying out, but I wanted to show you guys how I do it. I'M just gon na hold it there for a little bit. This one came off pretty easily like I just held it there for a minute, and then it just came right off. I think if you have here, it might hurt a little bit so make sure that you actually like completely submerge it but be careful and try not to get it in your eyes. I just feel like I could do better, so I just want to restart and you guys get to see how the remover is. So that's good too. I feel, like my skin is kind of irritated. I mean it makes sense because I'm putting such a drying ingredients on my face, so hopefully I get it this time. Ooh. Do you see that the tail just came off a little bit yeah? I came up nicely. My skin is irritated. I don't know if I can finish this video today, I'm taking my Garnier micellar, a secular, my seller. I think it's, my seller, micellar water, a little bit the butt. Oh hello, why don't you just Wow that left giant? My I was so excited. I will still continue this video. I just don't know if it's gon na be tonight cuz. My this is like burning a little bit. It'S only because it's dry, okay, so applying them is actually not hard. When you know what you're doing so good thing, I'm making this video, so that way it's easier for you guys, because right now moving them. My I just have such sensitive skin. So that kind of hurt - and I thought I these are the reasons why I think I kept applying the glue underneath so thick right and then holding the remover down on the glue you have to keep applying it. So my skin is extra dry. So, instead of finishing tonight, I'm gon na go ahead and continue this tomorrow and restart the whole thing, but it's kind of good that we're making I'm making these mistakes. So that way, you guys can have a better chance when you do it, and I can give you the tips of what not to do and what you should do so I'll see you guys you good, oh so good. I finally did it. I finally did it. Okay, so yesterday was a flop, because I was frustrated, they didn't look that bad. I just wanted them to look better for you guys. Alright, it worked out because then you ended up. Seeing me use the remover which worked beautifully. I have sensitive skin, it's fine. I really hope you guys like this video, because I had so many technical difficulties, the first one being that the glue was making me struggle yesterday, but today I figured it out. So it's fine but um. I filmed today's video for two hours. Please no audio, but yeah. I actually I'd really like how these turned out. They I feel, like they're super natural super natural, so first things first, is if you're gon na purchase these they're about 55 dollars, at least from what I've seen and what I pay for is 55 dollars. So it was a little bit of an investment for a brow product, but it is a wig for your brows. I feel like if you don't have brows. This is a really good investment and $ 55 is not that much when it comes to a brow wig. I think personally now, if you're looking for brows for yourself, I highly suggest that you look for a shape. That is similar to your brows, of course, but remember if you're looking for color and you can't find the exact get the closest thing, because you can always alter it with makeup now, if you're trying to wear these brows without makeup, because you just don't want to Wear makeup on your brows or you just don't know how to do makeup. That'S fine! If you glue these on, I would just suggest putting a little bit of setting powder or if you don't have setting powder, you can use baby powder. I just don't recommend a baby powder, I'm just saying: okay anyway, I recommend studying powder because the glue does glue on a little bit shiny. So if you could put a little bit setting powder that will get rid of the shine now, if you're, a parent purchasing eyebrow wait for a child totally fine, I would highly suggest it if your child feels uncomfortable in their own skin and they eyebrows again. This is a really good one, the same thing you could just glue the brows on and then just cut it down with a little setting powder. They can wear it for the school week and then you're good to go. It says I last a few months. I have this is the first time I've ever tried it beside yesterday, so I'm gon na try wearing it in the shower. I'M gon na try wearing it overnight. I'M gon na attempt to wear it for a week, we'll see how I feel, because I'm really I'm really good with just being bare skin all the time. So I don't know how I feel about having these brows on my face every day, but this is a really good alternative for whoever suffers from hair loss. Just like me, you're gon na wear this with makeup. I highly suggest using a brow powder and then maybe, if you're like me, who likes that really crisp brow, but you don't want to like mess it up with a brow pencil. It says you can use it with a brow pencil. I just didn't trust it. I tried it yesterday didn't like it. I just ended up using my brow powder by anastacio and my still a waterproof stay all day, brow color, I liked it. This is still a little bit too dark for me, but it ended up working really. Well, I think I am gon na go. Do the rest of my makeup, but I'm saving that for another video now it is time to cut to the chase. I'M going to tell you my honest opinion about brows, specifically these brows yeah. I really like them. Did you think I wasn't gon na like them? I really like them. It took me a while to get used to, I feel, like you do, need a practice. I did apply them two and a half times. I would say, because yesterday put both on didn't really like how they turned out today. I put this round twice and I was like Kay: that's pretty good, it's not bad, and then this one it was fine. I did struggle a little bit with the glue, but I think once you put the glue on quickly put it on to the brow area. Tap it all the way down, hold it for 60 seconds and when you remove it, be very gentle and then go back in with your finger and like press it back in really good but yeah. I actually like the way they turned out. I feel like I have brows like real their luck, thinner than I usually do, but I kind of liked that, because sometimes my brows look too thick, I don't mean to do that, but sometimes it happens. I hope you guys liked this video. I really struggled, but I ended up liking them, so I hope the struggle was worth it so that way, you guys learned something out of it, because I really wanted to test them out. So that way, you guys could see what I went through and determine if you wanted to try them out or not, in my opinion, they're definitely worth trying so yeah. I hope you guys like this video. Let me know in the comments below what you think of my brows, my new brow, wig. I am going to attempt to wear them overnight and wear them in the shower, because it says that you can I'm a little sketchy about that, but we'll see how it goes and if you want to know how that turns out, I will be posting my opinion On it on Instagram, so don't forget to follow me on Instagram. Also, if you haven't already, please subscribe I'll, go ahead and leave some videos here for you to look at I'll leave some in the description. I'Ll also leave the link to these brows in the description. As well, I hope you gained something from this video. I definitely did. I had a lot of technical difficulties, but it's all for you guys, um. If you have alopecia, send me a little bald emoji down in the comments below and also tell me if you liked how these brows to you now. I hope you like this video thanks for watching, see you in the next one

Monique Cherice: Perrrrrfect! Just what I was looking for and they really look so so beautiful on you! Thank you so much for the demo.

Chandre Okemo: Tried these and had the exact same experience! The part closest to the nose lifts up. It doesn’t matter how much glue I use. Eventually they lift up. Also, the base looks white against dark skin. I would not by them again but they seem to work for some people.

Deborah Allen: You did a perfect job the very first time! Yea! I think I think I'll stay away from the ones with the glue! I use Kiss glue on nails as well, you have no idea how many body parts that I've accidentally glued together! These look really good on you! Have you found yourself making facial expressions using your beautiful brows? I have, it feels great! Take care!

bratbra1: Thanks for the tips! I love being able to see how a product really looks before you have to invest money into it

Ellan Vannin: I wore them many years ago and I loved them. The hardest part is to remove the adhesive, and that's what ends up ruining them. I had to stop buying them because, even though I managed to make them last for four months, it meant I had to spend $165 a year and I can't afford that. Anyway, for those who can I would say it's the best solution. I had to go back to regular drawing them (I tried tattooing but my skin is too thin so it was a disaster, bleeding and cut skin). You name it I've tried it and nothing compares to these wigs. BTW: Angelica you are adorable.

Lisa Beaudoin: Thanks for this... also, I know very little about alopecia except when I was younger I had issues... so I'm just throwing out there that I now use a shower filter and my skin is better and so is my hair... I also only use organic products and for my brows I'm using butter on them and they are growing -- my mistake was that one day I really rubbed them , big mistake! So now starting over and why I'm watching... so thank you again for posting... big hugs to you :)

Arnold Ramirez Jr.: After cleaning the skin, apply the glue on both the skin and brows but let it dry a bit before placing on skin and it’ll stick cleaner and better.

Madam Vonkook: take a bobby pin bent open and get a little adhesive and run it under the loose edges ..let the glue dry a little then use the edge of the eyebrow comb side to push the edges down. You look amazing!

Diane R-D: they look fantastic on you. great job!

RoyaltyDayla 04: I love my eyebrows I get my from Fox locks on Amazon and the boho glue with the red label works best for me #baldisbeautiful #alopeciagame

Rae S.: I thought they looked the best before you added color to them.. thanks for the review!

Blackhartx: I like the shape 15 and the cardani lash glue

Joyce Lacher: AU here as well. . I handled the hairloss itself ok, but the brows and lashes bug me the most. I am definitely trying these ty

Maureen Mango: You look amazing

Diane R-D: have you already tried the eyebrow stencils with a sponge for the pomade instead of a brush?

Manisha Saini: I want to purchase it am also suffering from alopecia areata ....

Diane Lynch: Cardani is currently out of stock! I hear that they are the best!

M Feagin: The circumference of your head is perfect beautiful.

parakells: What brand name are your eyebrows please?

Samuel Jaramillo: They look real. Why not just draw them on?

Kristen Whittles: Fierce!!!!

Reena Kumari: Kha milta h

Shiv Shankar: Hl
