Fall Wig Review Series: Ep 8 - On In 10! Raquel Welch I Rl29/33Ss, Shaded Iced Pumpkin Spice!

Hello friends: this is Trish with fun dues and I am back with my final fall wig review. This is a Raquel Welch piece and I'm excited because this is my first Raquel Welch piece. It is a more affordable, uh piece by this brand, but I'm excited because this is my first one and um - I'm excited to tell you a little bit about it. This is also in um, one of their well a very popular shade. These days this is shaded. Iced pumpkin spice - and this is on on in 10, by Raquel Welch in the color RL 29 slash 33 SS, which is shaded ice pumpkin spice, and this is a it. It'S a fun style. The style is very cute. It'S short, it's very flippy on the ends which I love um. The thing that I cannot get past is this front: sweeping uh, bang and fiber situation um. I have tried everything to get these more off of my face. Um more contoured - and I just don't know if it's going to uh work, you know um, I think, truly the style of this. You know it looks like an anchor woman right, I mean on in 10. You know that's what the saying is when you, you know, are on reporting the news whatever, and you know it's obviously a very sophisticated, very professional style. Well, you know with that. I think it's meant to be. You know very Sleek to the front like this. You know maybe kind of flipped out and it's all good, it's just not me um. I have never worn my hair, like that. I mean I have you know, and maybe you could. You know get this style like if you had a lot of this poofed up here with like this very cute, Sleek, bang or something um, it might work, and you know really, as I'm sitting here playing with it, I actually am liking it a little bit more Now so you know that's the thing with pieces. Is these people that return their pieces? You know I feel really bad for them, because they're not going to get their money for them and they haven't even had a chance to play with them. Um. You know. Sometimes you do have to mess around with these pieces, take heat to them and then, of course you can't return them. So, okay! So now I'm liking this, I don't know so, there's a lot to say on this piece. Sorry, I'm looking at my um computer here. So this style was new this past spring and I had to try it because it's one of their more affordable Styles and um, it's a co-op. So there is no lace front. It has a basic cap, design, um, velcro closures and I'll have a video at the end of this, showing me taking this out of the box as well as a picture right up here. That will show you uh what the stock photo looks like, but it does have an extended nape that is open. There are velcro closures, which is nice, uh velvet. You know front here: um, there is no lace front, No Mono part, none of that, and but it does have their true to life fibers, which you can take heat to this, which is nice, and it also has um the memory cap where you'll see in the Video with me, taking this out of the box that there are strips of silicone that run down the wefting um in the inside of the cap, and that is to help to form to your own head size. Your own head shape so that it's more of a custom fit so that's nice and we'll see how that goes. You know I do have some bio hair um, I'm wondering if that will interfere with it. Really, you know, uh, you know capturing the the shape of my head and how that'll work it does have uh metal stays in the ear tabs as well, and they are really tiny and I the coverage is okay. You know the ear tabs do not come down as far they stop about right. There, um, which is kind of good because the longer they are they tend to rest on the top of my ears and they actually tend to hurt a little bit but um yeah. I can say that this is an average cap, I'm very average in my size. I know I don't post, you know what my measurements are, but I'm very average you know like if I have to make a little adjustment I do um. This is very. This is on the smaller side of average. I will say that um I I feel this is just sitting on top of my head like it and maybe that'll change, and maybe that's going to be a good thing when this starts to shape to my own head and and stretch out a bit. It probably will fit just fine, so I'm not going to really stress too much about that so um. This is. I wonder if I have oh here so this is a very cute color um, you know it's described as a strawberry strawberry blonde shade, with dark red brown light Auburn, light auburn brown root, which you can definitely see um in the in this lighting and inside it Looks beautiful I'm going to just compare this to the Jaclyn Smith's uh style that I had in Auburn sugar rooted now. This is very much more burgundy red Auburn, where this obviously has the more strawberry blonde coloring in it very pretty. But when - and this is my opinion when you see my short on this style outside in natural lighting - it is really red, like I don't know if that was my camera on or if it was the contrast against the snow on the ground. But this is red, and I'm not sure if that is how this is supposed to look, because the other reviewers that have reviewed this uh color do not look like that. It looks like this even lighter, like even more muted and more ashy than this color. So I don't know if I've gotten a um, a different coloring um. I did get this from best wig Outlet. So maybe this was a return, because the color was not quite right. I don't know, but that is what I'm finding with this so um. That is my thoughts on that. So I'll give you some specifications on this uh Dimension, sides or seven inches. The back is eight bangs or seven. The crown is seven and a half uh. They say 14 inch Nate, but I don't think that's right. I think that's something wrong. Oh I'm! Sorry, that's probably for something else: um the nape is actually 3.75 and the total weight is 3.7 ounces. I love it. I mean of this cutie little flippy thing going on here is adorable. It'S this part here that I'm having a hard time with without it, I feel it makes me look Wiggy, but maybe it'll grow on me a little bit, and definitely that color is what I'm a little bit concerned about going outside, because I have never had this Kind of red hair, and certainly not the kind of red hair that um is portrayed in that short, so um my face length. I thought I would mention that too. So you can know how this is gon na sit on you for a length. My length face length from hairline to Chin is seven and a half and then my neck from you know, I think I did about here down to like. Maybe here is four inches, so let me do a 360, so you can see what this looks like very cute on the sides. I love all this fluffy flippy stuff, oh and back to the front so um yeah, let's see here um I don't have so okay. I will show you this so with these bangs I have since my short, I have like pinned them up, you know to get them more contoured, and I mean I had it sitting here for like a week and it seems it might have helped. I don't know they still want to just come forward and um that might be just how they are sewn into the cap, so I might have to take some heat to this with a round brush. You know it does kind of look like it's kind of trying to Contour here. So maybe if I keep trying to pin that um it'll be fine, but you know and that's the thing even using these clips - I mean it looks. It doesn't even look right when you pin it back. I mean you can't even do that because of how these fibers lay you know you could maybe do something like that. This side is cute. I I'm I can dig that side. This side is what I'm having a problem with. I could try to get this trained to this side, and maybe it would look a little better. This is the side that I normally wear. My bang or you know, part my bangs, and you know I guess you could cut you know more of a bang in here now see that doesn't look so bad. I don't know this. This is another one that you would have to play with and make this your own, because this is not. In my opinion, this is not something that I would wear out straight away, no way like. I would have to do some styling on this for sure, and I haven't I've had this sitting around for the last. You know week or more. I'Ve had some things going on um, and so I haven't worn this since I did the short on it. So I purchased this back in August um, let's see here from best wig Outlet um. Let'S see oh okay and I probably had some sort of discount code, so the price of her was 165.75 with a discount code um that I got it brought it down to 99.45 and with shipping the total order came to 111. So I definitely wanted to pick this up being that it is a Raquel, Welch, uh piece and that it was very affordable for me, and I was willing to pay that so um and I do like these short styles. You know I do gravitate toward more mid length and short Styles um, so I did want to give this one a a go and there were there were some cute. You know styling videos and things like that um. So that is with that. Let'S see all right. Oh, here's some glasses, so you know glasses are cute, no big deal with that. You know it's just like I said you're gon na have to play with this and make this your own, whether that's taking some heat to it. Like I said, I probably will try to take some heat to this and get this front um more contoured. I might even take a curling iron and maybe curl some of these uh wispy bangs back a bit. I don't know like I said: I'm gon na have to play with this. It'S not something that I'm gon na be able to wear right away, so um hope this review was helpful to you again. This is a affordable Style by Raquel Welch. If you're wanting to try one of her pieces and give it a go, you know it came in a lot of different colors. It is very cute and you can also probably take this to a hair stylist. You know maybe, and have them whisp out these bangs a little bit or you know if you wanted them more. I mean that would be cute too. If you wanted a more straight across, you know, um. That would be something you could do as well. I definitely would you know not uh let this pass you by if it to be honest with you, if this was available in another color like at some point of my shopping Journey um, I probably would get this in a different, color uh. Definitely, oh and another thing I might do too, which I do have some um root spray and I don't want to have this uh video go on too long, but I might try to get some more rooting in this, like maybe that would help to tone down Some of the red - and this is a light brown color by TRESemme um. You know it's a root touch up spray where it might not be dark enough to be honest with you, but you know it could tone down some of this red a bit and give it some more texture. You know, maybe that's what these bangs need to is some more texture so that you can play it around with them um and have it stay in one Space Place so anyway, I'm I will play with this for a little bit longer um and then maybe I'll Do a a follow-up video on this to see what I've done to make this um a little bit more wearable. For me I mean it's not awful but, like I said I just normally don't wear my bangs like this in you know, that's the thing I I'm just gon na have to play with that.
