Making Cheap Synthetic Wigs Look Real

What do you say? Do you want to get into wigs, but you don't have too much money to spend during a really expensive week, so you want to start off with cheaper synthetic wigs and do your best to make them look real and natural. I think i can help you with that one hi and welcome. If you don't know me, my name is stella cheney. I do a lot of weird things with hair, wigs and a bunch of other things. I also put my face on a t-shirt which is gon na be down below, but i just now realized that i stained it with dye. How is that not even news, but i've done many videos like this before i'm to be fair. I'Ve done many wig videos before, because i love wigs and i genuinely genuinely genuinely want you guys to get into weeks, because i don't think you understand the severity of their power. That being said, i understand that wigs are pricey. The human hair is just the basic ones range from around two to five hundred dollars. I understand that breaking into this world of wigs can be a bit tough, because even the basic guest of products can often cost you a lot of money up till now. What let me explain, today's video is in partnership with bellamy. I love bellamy. Bellamy have supplied one of the most incredible hair extensions to some of the most influential people. I know guy tank, who is basically my hair legend works with them a lot. They are currently working with tokyo styles, who does cardi b's, hair and kylie jenner's, hair and freaking. So many people's hair, it's incredible, and they have some of phenomenal extensions and wigs with their own price tags. I'M not gon na lie. They have some of the best quality stuff on the website, but they also came out with a line of incredibly affordable synthetic wigs. I can take a taxi cab, that's more expensive than that today, i'm gon na be showing you four different bellamy, wigs that you can buy and i'm gon na show you how to make them look realistic or real enough to wear them out in public or for A photo or for a shoe or for whatever reason, you're purchasing your wig. Okay, you get a little baggy to protect your hair when you're traveling you can just tuck it in, and it's fine wig caps bellamy. You know so far. We kept it natural, but i had to i had to so this one right here is fleur. This bee is 26 inches. I decided to go for a natural color, because natural colors at the end of the day, do look more realistic, get a bit of a lace front over here. This is so you can customize it to your own hairline we're going to get to that all again, and then this is what the inside looks like, and this is basically how you can tell um that's more of an affordable, wig, typically fashion, wigs that cost upwards Of let's say, 200 have a much larger lace front. That means that the hair was individually knotted into the lace. Something like this is a bit quicker to manufacture because they're sewn into this fabric, regardless still gon na, look really cute still gon na look realistic. I'M gon na make this work. We have mila she's, also cute she's, also quite natural. I have a dark root moment over here and she's got a just a cute little blonde. Balayage again, this to me looks real normally synthetic wigs do have quite a high shine. This does not, which again looks more like hair next up we have micros or mikos, and this baby is bright. Spanking blue. This one does give me more of a synthetic vibe. It does have quite a high shine, and this probably is made from like more synthetic fibers. Again, it comes with a darker root again to help give us a more natural, real hair sort of vibe, because if you dye your hair blue, you would grow your natural root color. This one actually has a lace front over here. That means that you could theoretically change the parting to anywhere. You want you're still gon na have lace cap over here, and she also comes with a rubber band, basically lock the wig onto your head, 34 inches 400 grams and so much sass. Oh my god. This one probably looks the most realistic as far as black hair goes. This is literally how it looks the one slightly unrealistic part about. It is the length it's it's impressive. All i'm gon na say this one's like this, so they're all a bit unique. They all have a very firm inside, so just because they're made a bit cheaper doesn't mean that they're off lesser quality, they feel firm. Yes, now i'm going to actually try them on and see just how they fit and figure out kind of what modification it requires. Uh before i do that, i actually should change my shirt, because this one is stained i'll, be right back, so this is fleur. I know she needs quite a bit of customization, but just like this, i i love it. I love the color of it. I love the style of it. I love that it's parted in the middle. It'S very long. It looks realistic, hair wise. It is quite a bit overlapping on my ear, so i'm gon na have to actually like trim around it and then obviously trim off here, but i have high hopes for i already know what look i'm gon na do with this. So, as you can see this one, i mean look at it. It'S effortless hairline looks pretty real to me. They say it looks pretty real. I obviously need to cut off the excess lace. Thinking of doing like a full straight look for this, because it definitely has the like hairline and the parting to support it. I love it. I seriously love it. Oh my god, imagine just getting this just for no other reason than taking a picture with it. Look what a bomb picture this would be this. This is the look you're gon na get we're going through. So many emotions right now. Oh look at this! Why don't you just wear it like this and go for a photo shoot like this like bomb? It'S me. Look at how much look at how much hair this has first hand impression for something that costs so little. These are made with such brilliance, and just i do believe that they do obviously need some customization and basically just give each of them a unique kind of a style and make it work because they deserve it. Let'S go the first thing: i'm going to do is work to cut off the lace. I know some people leave this towards a later stage because it's easier to pluck hair. However, in my case, i felt like for most of these, i'm not going to pluck the hair and it's easier for me to understand what it's going to look like if the lace is gone. Goal right now is to simply remove the excess lace and not to actually touch the hairline, so i'm not actually going to go into it. I'M going to do that when the wig is actually on my head and then customize it further once i'm wearing it now. I know specifically that all of these wigs overlap onto my ear - that's obviously something to avoid. I know how much i'm gon na cut off, but i recommend you putting it on and marking it off, somehow like with a crayon or a marker or something to know up to what point to cut it off, because we want it basically to come down and Then curve around our ear and that's it, that is the base modification for literally any wig. You will ever buy whether it's real, whether it's not real. Now, i'm just going to repeat this for every single one of the wigs so that i get that out of the way and then i'm going to be back yeah to explain to you what to do next. Okay, i've just finished customizing each and every single one of the wigs one thing i'm going to point out is that these wigs do come with a little wirey thing over here. This is meant to keep the wig very, very close and tight to you my case. This actually covered my ears, so i did go up and cut it. I cut them with these scissors because they're a bit hard to cut, but they'll help in customizing your wig now it's time to start actually individualizing each wig, starting, of course, by my lovely. I can wait flower minute behind me. Dry shampoo, wait number one, it is super elegant. It is super bombshell, it is just gorgeous. This looks like it would cost hundreds to get at a salon. Let alone i mean it's a wig, it's a synthetic way, but it looks beautiful you can see. I did not change too much. I literally just cut off the lace customized it to myself. I did add some dry shampoo to reduce some of the shine around the hairline as well as to give it some more bad day. The lace is so beautifully done. It does not look like i'm not gon na point out that that's a wig, because it is so skin tight that there's no differentiation. It looks like hair. Oh my god. I love it time to move on to the next twig. One thing to keep in mind is because this is obviously synthetic hair heat will melt the hair when it's okay to use a bit of heat from a hair dryer try to avoid a straightener or a curling wand. It will literally melt the hair, i'm reminding myself of safiyan. I guard it looks like her admitted. The hair is so hard. It'S so perfect like this. I love it. Oh my god, look at it where's the lace. I am going to trim these bits because these should always be shorter, because naturally, your hair here would be shorter. This is it this is so beautiful. Now it's reminding me of kyrie jenner, oh my god. This is the power of hair. You change your hair and it's like oh wow. I did not know what you look like. Okay, this is how i'm gon na leave it, because i think it suits the style very much. This thing has very similar colors to the hair. So i think, there's like complementary colors this little hair over here is selling me the idea that it's natural, because it snaps naturally wow three two one before the third week - let's go okay, i know that shine is an obvious giveaway to not real hair, but this Shine is so next level that i'm kind of tempted to just leave it like this. Look at my piercing poking through how dare you i'm not minding it. It is so like out of this world shiny that it's almost like its own look. I love it. I love everything about it. It is so beautiful it is so mind-blowing. I wasn't gon na give it braids the meat - i'm not gon na, say this one's my favorite, because so far every single one of them have been my favorite. But it's definitely one of my favorite books ever final wig and final. Look. Let'S go is probably the simplest one, because it doesn't need anything else. It is so long that it does all the talking. For you i mean seriously. Those are all four different styles that you could do on the four different wigs. As you could see, minimal work was needed.
