Testing Wigs From Shein!! (5 Wigs!)

Hey, what's up guys, it's abby, andrew and welcome back to my channel. I know this wig that i'm wearing right now kind of blends into my background, but that's okay, because i'm gon na be changing it in just a minute and that's because today's video is going to be all about wigs from shein. So if you guys aren't familiar with sheen, xi'an is one of those websites that is like super cheap has pretty much everything. I have bought a bunch of things from xi'an before i've bought a bunch of clothes from them that i've really really liked. They can be a little bit hit or miss with clothes, but they do have reviews on their website. So you can read the reviews and make sure that the piece that you're interested in is actually going to come. What you expect it to look like, and i also have a whole other video about some of their home decor, a lot of which was really really great as well. So if you want to watch that video, i will link it on the screen. But sheen is one of those sites that really has like everything and one day i was browsing their website and i noticed they had a really like pretty decent wig selection. So i decided i would pick up a bunch of their wigs and do a video and show you guys what they actually are like in person. So if you guys are new to my channel, i actually have alopecia, which is a hair loss, condition, and i've had that since about the age of two years old. So i'm completely bald. This is a wig right now that i'm wearing um. This is more of like a high quality wig, which is really really nice and realistic looking, but sometimes it's also fun to get those like super dirt, cheap, wigs and like honestly, i don't expect these wigs to be like realistic looking, but as long as they're, comfortable And not falling apart, that's actually pretty great for someone that just wants to play around with different wig, colors and styles and stuff like that. So i am excited to check out these wigs there's a lot of things you want to look for in a good quality. Wig, the biggest things are the wig cap and that's actually what's gon na make the wig look realistic on top. So, for example, this wig has something called a monofilament wig cap, which makes it look like your own. Scalp is peeking through, even though it is obviously a wig. Another thing is, of course, the hair, fiber and texture. So here is the bag i got. I think i got four or five different wigs, so i'm so excited to try these all on and show you. Okay, now this one here, i actually ordered before the rest of them. I actually ordered this with one of my other orders just to try it out. I think this wig was like 16, so i guess last time i wore this wig. I put it back in the bag styled the way i had it last time so i'll show you it like this, then i'll also take these out and show you how it looks um just regularly as well, but, like i said this wig, i got a while Back and i was actually very surprised with the quality considering it was 16 that is insane. So it's this really cute short style with these kind of like curly waves at the bottom. That are super cute and, as you can see, the wig fiber is not super shiny. Now again, i'm shooting with this bright ring light, so it might make it look a little bit shinier, but it really is not shiny at all, whereas a lot of wigs that cheap they're, always like ultra shiny. So that's like amazing for a 16 wig and on top of that, it's this pink color. But if you look at the color, it's not just all flat, solid pink, which actually helps make it look more realistic, because if you dyed your own human hair pink, it would have some kind of like dynamic colors to it. It wouldn't just be a flat, solid color, and let me just show you the cap before i put it on as well, so it's a really really basic wig cap. It has that kind of, like floral cap machine tied cap, that a lot of cheap wigs have like that, and it does have adjustable straps. These kind of adjustable straps are the ones with the little hooks so to adjust it. You just pull them on each side and then just like hook it into these little tabs at the bottom, and i find with these wigs since i've already tried this on before i kind of have to put them on, like the tightest setting for them to fit Me properly um, but at least it is adjustable, so that's good, but the other annoying thing with those little hooks on the back of wig caps is, i always find with wigs that have that kind of adjustment is that the hooks tend to come loose sometimes. So it's not the most secure, uh wig cap, i mean once it's at the right tightness. Then it does fit me properly and tight enough, but um it is pretty easy for those hooks to slip. So that is something to note. Okay, there. It is. This wig is actually super adorable. I love the way these little curls at the bottom. Look they're like nice, big, thick barrel curls, and it's really just at the ends. So it's like really pretty and glamorous. I have worn this wig a couple of times both for videos at home and outside the house, and it's held up pretty well, but just note that this is after a couple of wears. But it's still in pretty nice shape and the curls have maintained themselves and stuff like that. So usually, when i wear this wig, i love to wear it in these little pigtails up here, like that, i just think it looks super cute for a while. I actually was wearing them like little buns on top of my head, which i also thought was adorable kind of reminds me of like chibiusa from sailor. Moon yeah, like that was super cute and just the way the curls fall. When you do that, just looks adorable and then there it is totally down also really cute, although i do feel like when it's totally down it almost looks a little bit more wiggy. I mean this. Wig is probably gon na. Look like a wig, probably no matter. What just because of like the shape of it and stuff, whether people know it's a wig or not? This is still like super cute, especially if you wear it with like a cute little hat or something or put little pigtails in it. You can still put it behind your ear. This is super adorable and just to show you the top of the wig, as you can see that the top of it isn't the most realistic looking thing. But it isn't a lot better than a lot of other, like costume wigs from like party city or something like it almost has. The effect of like the scalp peeking through, but nobody's actual hairline would be like that perfect and straight and small. So it does still look kind of wiggy, but it's like better than other cheap wigs. So when i was browsing their site for other wig options, this exact wig also came in blue. So, let's check out this one now this one i've also worn once or twice now and was super impressed with it yeah wow. So this one is also super adorable. I think i actually like this one better than that one as far as like wearing out um, because this actually can pass for, like naturally dyed hair or like natural human hair. That was just dyed blue and i kind of like the way this one is a little like wavy as opposed to that one that has the curls, but that's kind of just up to personal preference. This one is also so adorable and i just can't get over how not shiny this fiber is. So i think these two are both around the same price. All of these were like under 20 dollars. If i recall correctly so all super super cheap. It is super cute pinned back like that or you can just wear it entirely down, so these two are definitely both wins, especially considering how cheap they were. So this one's like pretty much the same style as the first one, just slightly different uh, with two different color options. The next one is a similar color, it's also in blue, but this one's a longer wig, the fiber on all of these by the way has been like really soft. So this texture actually feels really great and silky. It doesn't feel like it's going to be tangling too easily, even though it's long sometimes long cheap, wigs are super susceptible to tangling, but this is like not doesn't feel like it would tangle easily at all again same wig cap on all of these, with the same Wig cap on top and then the adjustable hooks on the back again, these hooks are really annoying because i just feel like these hooks slip out really easily. They usually don't slip once you're already wearing them, which is good, but like every time you go to put it on you're, probably gon na have to fix the hooks again and then the same little like part on top. This part actually is pretty good for a cheap wig. It'S definitely not as good as like the monofilament wig cap. I showed you in the beginning on that first wig. I was wearing not from sheen, but it is definitely better than like those cheapy party city, wigs the hair on this is actually so soft, though, which is incredible like it just feels really silky wow so adorable. I love this look with like the waves and the bangs. It just feels kind of mermaidy like it looks like naturally wavy hair, like those girls that are just so lucky that they just like go into the ocean and they come out and their hair naturally dries and just looks like this like that's what this hair is. The kind of vibes this hair is giving me right now, wow, this color is actually so crazy, fantastic and the thickness is nice. It doesn't feel like it's shedding or anything it's like for the price of these wigs, i'm like so amazed by how good they are, especially if you just like put a beanie on this or something people would totally think it was like your own hair dyed, blue. Okay and the last two eggs, i have to show you our more natural looking colors. This one is like a long blondish wig, and this one is a long brunette wig. By the way they all came in the mail. Looking something like this with, like the cardboard around it inside, like a wig hair net and stuff, i've taken these out a couple times, tried them on and put them back in the bags really haphazardly, but when they ship it to you, it's like in really good Packaging and stuff - it's not just like thrown in there. That was just this - was my doing again a really great quality texture of the hair. It'S still very silky, as you can see this wig, like flows really. Naturally, this one has a really nice kind of ombre effect. It has like slightly darker roots and it transitions into a really pretty gold blonde again same cap going on here with the hooks in the back this one's a bit bigger, i adjusted it to the same length as the others, oh see, just as i was putting It on the hooks fell off, so that's really annoying. You kind of have to be really careful with these hooks, like you have to hook them in place and then just very carefully put it on your head, so they don't fall out of the hooks and also when you hook it to like the farthest adjustment. Then you kind of have this weird, like sagging, going on here like here's, where the adjustment straps are, but then you get this like weird bunching in the back over here yeah once you're wearing the wiggle, you can still kind of feel that it's like popping out A little bit, but you definitely can't see it because the hair is so long anyway, that you wouldn't be able to tell so it's definitely not a huge deal wow. This is so pretty and the way the hair falls with the color and um the lack of shininess. It actually does look super realistic, look how silky this is. If you want to make another video showing how i style these, i can definitely do that, because there's definitely so many possibilities with what you can do with these wigs, like, if i put it like in braids. That would probably look super cute pigtails, but yeah the way this hair flows and falls. It'S just super pretty, and it has these like kind of long bangs like this. If you wanted to, you, could either just brush those back like i've been doing. If you wanted to, you could take a pair of scissors and trim them into regular bangs, so yeah. This is also another win for sure. Okay. Last but not least, i'm not sure this might be the one i haven't even tried on. Yet i've definitely tried on all the other ones beforehand, but this one - i don't remember if i ever even try this on so did i try this one out. I don't think i even tried this one on. Oh this color. All of these wigs have been really silky, but this wig color is just like this really warm chocolatey brown. Okay, i think this wig is kind of blending right into my tapestry, but again really pretty so i feel like um. This one actually is slightly less quality than the print one before it, the one before it had such nice movement to the hair and such a nice volume that it looked so natural um. This one is really like flat and straight so this one kind of just like lies a little bit flatter, which might look a little bit more wiggy. Let me move against a white wall. Okay, this way definitely isn't bad, but it's definitely the least manageable of all. The wigs i've shown you so far and i do feel like this wig of the ones i've shown you is the most likely to get tangled because it is this is like long and straight. I'M surprised that wavy, when i showed you that wavy blue one, i'm surprised that didn't feel like it would tangle, but this one feels like it would tangle a lot more easily, but this one just feels extra flat it just like lies straight down. It feels a little bit thinner than the other ones, so where's, the other ones. I feel like look super realistic and they're, not too shiny, and they have nice movement to them. This one's just like a lot flatter and thinner. So this one's slightly lower quality, but again these were like this is more what i would expect for the price of these wigs. So it's still pretty good for the price. If you put a beanie over it, that would look really cute, but these bangs are a little bit like kind of weirdly thin um. I bet, if i just like fixed these bangs and made them regular straight bangs and just cut them a little shorter. That would make this look a little bit better, but right now it just like lies very flat to my face and i just feel like it's slightly less flattering on me than the other ones, but maybe you would like this better also, i can't tell, but i Feel like the wig net on this, would show through a bit more. Are you right? I don't know if you guys can really see that, but it just feels like parts of the wig cap are just kind of like peeking through a little more easily, whereas i didn't feel that with the other ones as much. This one is just like slightly lower quality than the other ones. Okay, so of these wigs, i think this one is probably my first favorite this one. I would totally just like wear out without a second thought and um people like might be able to tell it's a wig, but i don't think they would like. I don't think it's that obvious. Second, favorite is probably this one, because i'm just so amazed that, even though it's long, it's still not tangly or anything like that, and i think i just also really like blue hair a lot, so these two might be like tied for first favorite this one. I love so much, but i feel like this one might look a little bit more wiggy. I don't really know why. I think that maybe it's just the way the hair is styled. I love colorful hair anyway. So all three of those i'm still obsessed with and this one too, though this one is also so amazing, like the way the hair falls like just to compare these two again like the way this hair moves and the way it's kind of styled, like slightly almost Wavy, in a way, it looks so much more natural, whereas this one just kind of falls flat a little bit. It has these like little curls at the bottom that are kind of cute, but otherwise the hair just feels slightly more tangly on this one and a little bit more natural on this one. So, overall, what i recommend she and wigs absolutely a hundred percent if you're, just looking for a couple of fun, wigs to add to your collection with fun different colors. I think these are some really great options and anyone that just wants to wear them casually for fashion for cosplay just like here, and there also really really great options. So i wouldn't really recommend these for anyone who is looking for a wig that they can wear like every single day for like a really realistic, looking wig but they're still fantastic options, and i can't believe i cannot believe i actually cannot believe how cheap they were.
