Hey everyone welcome back to my channel, so you guys, I'm so excited to show you this today, because I really I'm struggling with my hair lately to the point where I almost feel like it needs to just be chopped off and I should go full wigs. Sometimes it's shutting like crazy. My drains are clogged, there's hair everywhere. It'S just really really difficult to manage. I don't even like looking at it. I'Ve actually had my hair up in a wig cap all day and it looks gross. It looks greasy really it's nasty, but the thing is with the products that I'm showing you it really doesn't matter and what's crazy is, is that I'm showing you a topper and usually with toppers? You want to kind of prepare your bio hair so that your bio hair looks pretty good. You know and blends well and and looks pretty dang good, underneath your topper, and you want to do that with this topper as well. You want it to blend. Well, you want it to match, but this topper has such great coverage to me. It'S almost almost as much coverage as a wig, not quite but almost I'm not gon na lie. That'S how much great coverage this topper has and what's exciting is that this topper has been available for quite some time in human hair, but now it's available in synthetic hair. So today for wick studio, one I'm sharing the Jarno top full synthetic. This just barely launched for fall 2018 and, as you guys know, the human hair top-full has been available for a while and now they have it in the synthetic option, which is fabulous because it does bring the price point down and it creates a lot of flexibility Because synthetic is ready-to-wear is super convenient there's a lot of great things about synthetic hair. I love human hair as well, but I think it's fabulous that john renault has this available in the synthetic and the remy human hair option. I'M going to be sharing the 18-inch top full, however, they do carry this in a 12-inch option alright, so this is the top full and the color is midnight cocoa, also known as fs4 33:38. If you guys have not watched my channel before i'm gon na, let you guys know right now that midnight cocoa is one of my very favorite colors out of the genre, no chocolate collection. In fact, I love all of the colors out of their chocolate collection, but midnight. Cocoa is definitely a favorite, and I wanted to try this top full in that shade. Here she is here. She is I'm going to tell you guys a little bit about midnight cocoa before I move on to the beautiful topper, so I've explained before midnight. Cocoa is a syrup shade. This color is a dark brown with medium and dark. Auburn brown highlights it's very, very gorgeous. It'S a very, very warm dark color and it's it's lovely, it's so beautiful, so they describe top-full as an elegant 18 inch full topper. This is for advanced stages of hair loss. You are going to get complete coverage with this topper. Look, how big it is! You have your double monofilament, so you have extremely natural, looking hair growth and then the remaining area of this cap is fully hand tied. So the hair movement is very, very natural and then on the underside is extremely comfortable, and then it has this stretch, cap area. So it fits nice and snug. In fact, one of the educators at Jean Renault explained that it felt like a cozy hug in the topper form, and it definitely does feel that way. It feels very secure, very snug, very comfortable, and then you have the added pressure. Sensitive clips to keep the topper in place and then you have the ability to utilize the hair that you have, even if you have just a little bit of it, but you know the ability to use the hair that is still on your head. That'S so nice! It makes you feel like you're. Still, you know you you're still using that hair. That'S on your head. The product wait for this is 4.2 ounces and the complete base size for this is 11.5 by 11 inches. So this is pretty dang big. The approximate length for this 18 inch is 18 inches and, of course, this fiber is synthetic. So it's ready to wear out of the box, but, like I stated, this does come in human hair. You have this polyurethane strip at the front of your monofilament top and that just allows for the use of adhesives. If you choose to remove your clip, a lot of people do not want to use the clips because of the the pain that they can cause or if they don't really have a lot of hair, they might even have a little bit of traction alopecia. That really is nice to be able to use that polyurethane strip and put a little bit of red Walker tape, for example, and tuck that down and have it stay nice and secure. You have this 360 stretch, hand tight section which allows customized stretch from front to back and ear to ear. It was so excited to try this piece, because I heard great things before they had the synthetic option even available. I heard that the human hair option was just absolutely amazing, so I was kind of dying to find out what it was all about. So when I found out that there was a synthetic option, number one, it's way more, affordable number, two synthetic is really convenient and also you know it allows a lot of people to be able to try other things as well. However, in the long, if this ends up being something that I really love, then I might look into getting a human hair option. I want to be able to use my bio hair all the way around this topper and because my hair is so thin. I don't have a lot of bio hair up at the front. I have a lot of hair loss. In fact, you guys can kind of see. I did add a little bit of spray fiber earlier today with the other hair that I was wearing, I'm just like a hot mess seriously, but I'm just showing you the way, as is you know, being totally real, but I'm going to actually rush a lot of My bio hair forward before I apply the topper and that's just something I like to do, because I don't have a lot of bio hair to utilize up at the front, I'm going to figure out where I want to place the front and I'm not really going To do a ton of clipping until I get it where I want it yeah, so this goes almost down to my knee. I don't even know if you guys can see that I'm stretching it down and then clipping it. It'S almost reaching my hairline make sure plenty of my bio hair is pulled forward, since I don't have a lot of it and then I'm going to clip those clips. There'S this clip right here before I clip that I'm going to pull it make sure forward. Okay, yeah I'm just gon na smooth, my hair. I don't have a ton of hair to incorporate with the front of my hairline and that's why I added some fibers just for blending purposes. Oh my goodness! So I put this on and the coverage was on real when I put this on, I was kind of dying because it felt so secure. It felt like the coverage of almost a wig, and yet you know my hair was like around the whole perimeter. In fact, I think, if I really wanted to, I could put enough of my bio hair around the perimeter of this topper that would easily easily be able to be worn up into an updo and have incredible coverage. It'S just awesome seriously, so you have your monofilament front. So what you'll want to do is integrate that front rim with your bio hair. They also have another topper that came out with their new fall collection, and that is the top smart. That topper is smaller than the top full, but it does have a lace front, and that is an amazing amazing topper. I did do a review on that topper and I did it in the color toffee truffle, so you'll have to head on back and check that out. I think what I'm going to do with this one, because I do have the toffee truffle topper in the top. Smart with the full longer bang, I think what I'll do with this one is. I might trim more of a front fringe and I don't know I just like a little bit of a fringe, but if you are not fond of fringe and you integrate your toppers with your bio hair, a really useful tip is to use some type of powder. Some fibers, you can even use eyeshadow or I like this product called roots and it's a root, touch-up powder and it is absolutely fantastic for camouflaging the edge of that front rim into your bio hair. So, just by utilizing a little bit of that root, touch-up, it kind of fills in that blunt edge, just a little bit and blends in more with your bio hair. So it's just not so harsh if that makes sense, because otherwise that part just kind of goes big, really harsh and hard line right in the front other than that it looks absolutely wonderful and you can use any type of product. That'S close to the color of your bio hair or the topper hair color and fill that in, and it's really useful to just blend that and make it look even more realistic that monofilament parting looks fantastic. I love that it is multi-directional. You can part it wherever you can do all sorts of styling. You can pull it back. You can do creative styling. You can do your top knots. You can do your braids, you can do your space buns. You can have so much fun with this type of topper because of the mono top it's so fun. I think that's my favorite thing about these mono tops is how easily they can be styled, in fact heck. Maybe I don't want to cut a fringe because adding a braid like this is a blast on these mono tops it's like a mohawk braid. I don't even know what I'm doing. This is all just a quick guessing game. I love the larger base. Awesome. How fun is that huh pretty sweet? Even you don't have the part perfectly. It looks so real. I love it all right. You guys, that's it. It is awesome, it feels fabulous, it looks fabulous. I have the coverage that I want. You guys saw my hair before it was greasy. It was nappy, it was thin. I really didn't have to do much to it before putting this on, and then that was because of the full coverage that it had now, if you guys want to find this topper. Annie B.: I hear ya, Amber. I went a while trying to save my hair and hold onto what I had before I decided the most practical thing (for me personally) to do was shave it off and commit to being a full-on wig wearer. I can tell you several things that have happened since then, and they are ALL positive: 1) It is SO much easier to throw on a wig without needing to fuss with constraining your hair in a wig cap. 2) Showering takes literally 5 minutes or less. 3) It's so much easier to always be able to see the back of my hair when I'm stying it. When I had hair, I always wished I could take it off to see the back when curling/flat-ironing, etc. Now I can. 3) Being bald is a look. Yeah, I wear my Blake all day and pretend it's growing out of my head (thanks, Jon Renau for the excellent craftsmanship!!), but when it comes off, I feel far more cute and put-together having a clean-shaven head than I did when I had long thin hair. I have surprisingly gotten so many compliments by my neighbors when they see me roaming about all bald-headed. Of course I prefer myself when I have on my long, thick, luxurious hair, but now I have 2 options with which both I can be confident about and content with. This may not be what you want to hear, and I know and understand it may be a scary thought to shave it off. This is just my personal experience that I wanted to share with you resultant of what you said at the beginning of the video. Whatever you do, you are amazing and creative and gorgeous (internally and externally). If you ever decide to go for it and pull a Sinéad O'Connor, I would seriously fly out to wherever you are with the clippers and hold your hand throughout the whole thing. You are awesome. ❤️

Mod-Planet: Great review! My hair is thinning also and it is so distressing. Thank goodness for YouTube and reviewers like you. Without the internet I would never have known these options are available. I now have several toppers and two wigs. The toppers are so easy to wear and look great. The wigs take more effort but are also a good option. I think, for me at least, that I prefer the toppers right now. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I no longer feel so alone.

allykatt1849: Many hugs to you Amber! As always thank you for what you do! I feel your reviews are very honest and I certainly appreciate that! Now it's time for my honesty. This topper looks great on you and best of all, so natural. The color is beautiful. I've been checking out Wig Studio 1 and I'm saving my pennies to make my first purchase. ✌️

. . . 0101O: How real you are SAVES me lol. Thank you so much for all the tips. Your confidence and transparency has given me so much reassurance and courage to begin my alternative hair journey. Sending love and appreciation <3

Melissa Lee: This is so theraputic to me...I have always felt like I was the only one with hair loss. Then I discover all these wig channels on Youtube and I am blown away by all of you brave women - thank you so much!!

Anita Rushlow: So very pretty on you! Gorgeous color and love all the styling options. I have been looking for a topper with maximum coverage like this one! Can you please do a 360 to show the back so I can see how much coverage it provides? If it provides enough I will be buying one for sure!! Thanks so much for your help! p.s. The "mohawk braid" is super Adorbs!

Nina Rose: My goodness, I can’t believe the coverage! I never considered toppers and only full wigs but our hair loss is so similar I’m definitely going to look at this! Only thing is I did exactly as you felt, and cut a lot of my length off so I’ll see if they do a 10”.

Michelle Empson: Love this!! Especially the braid!!

Cheryl J: I really appreciate that you film the details of brushing, fitting and blending. Many reviewers speed up such details. These details are so important! Thanks!

Denise D: Hi Amber I think I say the same thing all the time but this looks amazing on you. My heart aches to see that you are having a worse time with your bio hair. This really covers the crown so so well, just beautiful on you!!! Wow the braid is so gorgeous and you do it so perfect. The pictures at the end are always so beautiful, the camera loves you Hugs and Love to you sweet lady XOXO

Karen Grass: It looks super natural! Thank you for the grate review

Kristy Dickinson: OMG girl, you are SO SO smart! Flipping your bio hair from the back, forward is like game changing! What a smart idea! <3

Lola Beets: Amber I love your reviews! Always so positive! Question for you- the front clips of toppers always irritate me. Would you say a bigger base would usually place the clips further away from the temple?

Lisa Shoemaker: This topper and color looks so good on you!

Perlita Shaphrur: Hi, I am new to your channel ,and I have really been enjoying your wig and topper reviews. You're one of the few who really go in details. Thank you so much. If I may ask one question since I am new to wearing wig /topper (just have one of each ). I still have a lot of Bio hair, however , I just hate dying my hair every 2 weeks due to grey. Is this a more practical choice to purchase since you mentioned in your review that it's for more advance hair loss? Thanks .

Christina L: Hi Amber, thank you for the great review. Can this topper be worn without incorporating any bio hair in the front? My frontal area is very short so I don’t have any bangs. I was also looking into the Top Smart Topper but I have not tried lace front wigs/toppers before and not sure how well the lace front will sit on my head. Just worried it may buckle up and I’m not sure I want to use lace front glue. Any suggestions would be helpful.

GTOMama 66: Hi Amber, another great review, thanks! Do you have any advice for choosing a color? You wear so many types of colors and look good but I'm just beginning and want to find something close to my own bio hair or that will blend. Is it better to go lighter than my bio hair or darker or? I'd pull some out of the front on this topper so that's what I'm wondering about. Hope that makes sense. Thank you!

CATE BECK: I really like the Jon Renau styles and length. But, I find that the fibers get very dry and “straw-like” and clumpy after the first wash. I’ve tried using their products, washing in apple-cider vinegar, and nothin’. I do live in a dry climate..wondering if others have same issue.

Karen Culberson: Great review; I enjoy all your reviews.

Lisa Shoemaker: My hair is looking like that too. Sooo fine and thinning sooo much.

Cristi: I love it!!!

Melania Trump: If I may ask, do you prefer the Top Smart 18 or the Top Full 18? And why? Maybe you could compare them in detail? That’d be a great educational video. Love from Pennsylvania

Barbara Anderson: Your story about your bio hair sounds just like mine.

Krea77: Thank you for the review. Can you tell me if you have someone thin toppers before wearing. I find Jon Renau to be extremely thick at the top; looking unnatural on me. But this one on you looks of natural density.

Linda Britt: I feel you girl. My head is doing the same damn thing.

Psalm 51: Thank you for the video luv ❤

Karen S: Do you think there’s enough hair to look full in the back of the piece if I had short hair? I don’t want to use clip ins or halos in addition to toppers.

Tuyet Nguyen-Kutsenko: Does this topper have any permatease? I can never tell when others wear it :)

Woodland Poetry and Books: You look beautiful in this! That really is a beautiful, rich color.

Yvette C: Just found your video. So glad I did. Gives hope to the hopeless.

bevin wilkinson: I'm not patient enough to watch all the way thru without stopping to ask - does it have permatease?

Lisa Brown: I cannot utilize clips at the front at all because it is so apinful, yet I do have biohair there. You mentioned tape to use if the clop is removed. Is that tape safe for biohair or is it for bare scalp only? I dont know what to use to keep the front hair line rim of a hair piece down in the front.

Valarie Duree: Thanks for the video!!!

Lisa Shoemaker: Can I ask what “fibers” you use for your front hairline?

d Milord: I am so sorry for your struggle, you are beautiful. I feel your pain. Can you do a JR topper comparison video. LIke showing them all side by side, pros and cons and colors. I am having a hard time deciding.

Linda Fusco: I WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU IN BLOND COLOR BEACAUSE YOU HAVE SUCH BEAUTIFUL BLUE EYES!

Barbara Anderson: Your makeup is gorgeous!

Pooja Shukla: How long these synthetic toppers last.?

jared garrison: Please, please turn around so we can get a good look at the back! Posted by Char~

Denise D: Oh I forgot what is the density of this topper?

C: Do you have some traction hair loss ? I worry about getting a topper incase it makes my hair loss worse

Gynsu Santos: Hello.you can recommend a toupe that is not so expensive pls

Pooja Shukla: How old r u? Since how long are u suffering from this problem

Gina2190: I feel for ya in same boat oh well
