Hey everybody welcome back to your tethers way, closet at week, Studio One welcome to another edition of the cut, just some shorter little videos that didn't make the cut into my regular wig reviews, but that are so much fun and so worthy to talk about. So today I have a fun comparison for you featuring one style that I've just reviewed recently, which is the brand new unfiltered by Raquel Welch in the color RL in 1923. Lots of lots of reasons to love this style. We'Re going to compare this to another very popular Raquel, Welch style coming up so Raquel Welch unfiltered it just really is something very different for Raquel Welch. I feel like just because of this PC texture, this edgy design, I'm super happy with it, and I can't wait to wear it all summer long. It features a bit of a longer piece here in the front. Lots and lots of sprinkled kind of PC texture does have some volume and there's a bit of an angle here so you're, looking at a shorter back piece right, around nine and a half to 10 inches from the crown to the tip of the hair. At the knee, but it's very practical in terms of length to help with the longevity of the fibers. So often we kind of gauge whether we're really gon na, like a style based on other comparable styles. In that line and like I said this is a super unique kind of a style, but from the front it does really remind me of another Raquel Welch style. I think you'll agree. I'Ve actually gotten some questions on this one. It'S called simmer, so I'm back where you simmer in that shaded cappuccino, color, just absolutely beautiful, you'll notice that those front pieces are very, very similar to the unfiltered, although a little bit longer, they stretch well below my chin. Both of them have a lace, front temple to Temple extended and a full monofilament top part of Raquel Welch Signature Collection. I have similar style kind of up and away off of that front, just to kind of keep those pieces manageable and out of my face. We are in the winter season here and it does have a quite a bit of flyaway. So the biggest difference here is going to be the overall length in the back. Simar is about 13 inches in the back, so simmer is definitely going to drag the colors at the very nape, whereas unfiltered is probably going to avoid your collar at the moat. For the most part, okay, let's do our side-by-side comparisons. Here'S a look at the unfiltered and the simmer side-by-side. So on the unfiltered, you notice that the front pieces are noticeably shorter than the front pieces on simmer so about 10 inches on the unfiltered and approximately 11 and a half inches here on the simmer. Both feature the lace front and the monofilament part from the side view. Then there is a really good look at the links and you'll also notice, a slight beveling and an angle on unfiltered where the crown meets the three and a half inch need on the simmer. The layers pretty much meet up at the same point in the back, so this is the most obvious view showing you the length. So this, the unfiltered is quite a bit shorter than the full and total length in the back of the simmer, making the unfiltered just beautiful for maybe a cute summer. Look. It also might be more practical for longevity of those of those heat friendly fibers. You

Nicki James: Another great video Taz I love both these wigs, although I don’t own Unfiltered yet, but hope to at some point. My simmer is quite matted yet I’ve not worn it much, this is the disadvantage with heat friendly fibres. We can decide whether to have heat friendly but risk the matt or have non heat friendly shinier less realistic wigs. I don’t understand why heat friendly wigs are more expensive, if they get so matted. Most people wouldn’t beable to buy again. x

Dede Vaughn: They're both gorgeous, but as much as i love Rachel Welch wigs and shaded biscuit, both wigs being in the $400 range makes them off limits for me. They're not budget friendly! That True 2 life fiber doesn't hold up! Ive worn my Editors Pick about 12-15 times and its looking rough although it's about 7 months old. I'm a bit hard on my wigs. Not abusive, but I store them turned wrong-side-out in large, shallow tubs under my bed. Small home, limited space. I lay them flat and don't pack them in, but one may sit on my dresser if I wear it often lol I've got 5 or so wig heads in my closet for standbys
