Wig Color Spotlight: Envy Wigs Color Comparison In 5 Colors- 4 Brunettes And A Red!

Hey Wig Sister! Follow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/heywigsister... Hey wig sisters!! Here is a 5 color spotlight for you. My friend Cynthia from Faux Hair, Don't Care! and I decided to collaborate and upload reviews around the same time showing our Envy colors- she has 3 blondes so go check out her review here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_48iD...

Here are the colors I highlighted in my video. NOTE: it seems there is no consistency to how difference sites describe the colors of these wigs. I looked at 2 sites that have really good color descriptions usually (Cysterwigs and Name Brand Wigs) and since they were both different I listed BOTH descriptions.

Medium Brown in Chloe: DESCRIPTION #1: 10 Medium brown with natural highlights. DESCRIPTION #2: Medium Dark brown blended with light caramel brown and medium golden blonde.

Light Brown in Bianca: DESCRIPTION #1: 12 Light Golden brown with highlights. DESCRIPTION #2: Blend of light golden brown and light natural auburn brown.

Chocolate Caramel in Brittaney: DESCRIPTION #1: Blend of Medium chocolate brown with light caramel brown and Medium Auburn highlights

Toasted Sesame in Nadia: DESCRIPTION #1:Medium brown at roots-overall light brown highlighted with wheat blonde. DESCRIPTION #2: Light Brown blend (gold, ash and caramel) on top of medium brown, medium brown root

Lighter Red in Bianca: DESCRIPTION #1: Irish red with subtle blonde highlights. DESCRIPTION #2: Blend of Dark red based-auburn, dark rust blonde and Intense copper

If you are curious at Amaretto and Cream, check out this video I did on Eve in that color... love that color too! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cMdGc...

Thanks for watching!

Hey guys, okay, I am here to do an Envy, color spotlight, so my friend Cynthia bacon and I have decided to do a collaboration and spotlight some MV colors she's got some blondes. I'Ve got mostly brunettes and a red, and so I thought we both thought. It would be really fun to do so. I will link her channel in the description box, so you can easily find her, but most of you might maybe already know who she is so her channel is faux hair, don't care and so kind of a fun way to show a bunch of different MV colors And not have to own all the wigs yourself so I'm doing this outside and I'm not sure how this will work. The lighting is is tricky with the Sun coming in and out of the trees, and so hopefully this will give you a good sense of the color of these wigs. But these are hard to do. I have five and so that's really hard, so I'm going to do some quick changes. I'M gon na show you the color on me and I'm gon na hold it and I'm gon na tell you a little bit about the color. So wish me luck. I hope this goes okay, so the first color I want to tell you guys about is chocolate caramel and I did print off some descriptions, so chocolate cut - and it's really windy out here. So pardon me if the wind is a little loud chocolate. Caramel is a blend of medium chocolate brown with light caramel brown and medium a burn highlights now. Let'S look at this color here. This is a really really pretty color. It has a lot of really dynamic, highlighting throughout try to hold this for you long enough that if you can see not mess with it too much so pretty. All of these highlights it's a very, very dynamic color. Let me put it on so this is in Brittany by Envy. I have not reviewed Brittany because Brittany is a defective wig and I should have returned Brittany, but I didn't she's very sparse up here and so unfortunately, I wasn't smart about this one, but she's gon na do just fine for a color spotlight. I don't have a mirror out here, but the purpose of this is to highlight the colors, not the wig, so you can see all of those dynamic colors running through so pretty chocolate. Caramel is very warm. Let me take you over here, so we're outside of the canopy I have set up. Maybe you can see the color a little bit better again, don't pay attention to the style of the wig Britney's been living in a box. While I try to figure out what to do about her, but you can see this color such a pretty dynamic Brown right, so this is a tough kind of gig when you're doing this by yourself. Alright, so that's chocolate, caramel and I want the next one. I want to show you is medium brown, because these are really quite similar, medium brown and here's. The kind of interesting thing. I looked on a couple of different websites to try to see if I could find color codes or descriptions, and I kept finding different things. So I don't know what the true description is, but what I found for medium brown. I'Ve got two descriptions for you. One says that it's a ten and it's a medium brown with natural highlights. That'S all it said. The second description I found said medium. Dark brown blended with light caramel brown and medium golden blonde, so that medium brown, so chocolate, caramel and medium brown are very, very similar. What I really like about medium brown, you can see it better from the top look at how dynamic this is all of the highlights running through look at that you can just see the caramel and the medium dark brown. It isn't overly done. It isn't overly highlighted, whereas this is a lot more, the highlights or a lot later, it's just a really really pretty blend, and what I really like is that it's not boring it's not just medium brown. When you, when you hear the color medium brown, you think boring you think kind of monochromatic, but really this is dynamic. Can you see that really dynamic, so this is Chloe? Chloe has been in a box for a very long time. I am not sure about Chloe. I don't love Chloe's, all one link style, and so I just haven't gotten around to really messing with her a whole lot, but she's very pretty it's just the whole. All one length for me is kind of not my thing, but I tend to move around too quickly in these videos. Sometimes so I'm trying to be a lot more still. Okay, so let's go over here outside of the little canopy. If we can get some more light on Chloe whoops, sorry guys on medium brown, you see it's just it's it's blended, yet it's still highlighted. So what I think is, if you are looking for a rich, warm chocolatey brown and you want root. You like dynamic color, and you want some real visible - highlights chocolate, caramel all the way so pretty, but if you still want motorcycle go and buy still want, some of the warm sorry hit the table some of the warm tones, but you want some highlights. You still want some of the caramel. You just want it to be a lot more subtle, medium brown, really pretty colors. So that's medium brown. Let'S move on to light brown! So again I found two different descriptions for light brown. Light brown is a 12. It says light golden brown with highlights. The second description I found is blend of light golden brown and light natural Auburn. I will be honest with you guys I struggle to find the Auburn in this one. I really struggle to find the Auburn in it. Maybe slightly a burn, not really red, though I just think it's just a really great light brown. I mean it's very much a light brown. In my opinion, no routing it is a little dynamic. Can you see right there, some of the different cuts? Oh, I put my finger here. It might not focus as well some few different colors like different shades or tones running through, but it's definitely not a highlighted shade. Okay, so this is Bianca. Bianca is a fun curly. I have a review on Bianca and Bianca's been on a wig head because of the curls on Bianca. She just needs a little help when I put her on she's, not gon na look great right now, cuz. I have not really worked with her style. She'S she's been sitting on a wig head for a few weeks now so again, don't judge Bianca because I'm not doing a review of the wig, I'm just doing a color and I would have taken a little more time with her. Alright, let's go into some other light. You see. Can you tell it's just a really pretty light golden brown? It'S not a! She see if I turn it's just a nice light golden brown, there's not a lot going on. It'S not you know, trendy or any of those things very, very pretty so that's light brown. Two more now, I'm gon na show you toasted sesame. I just got toasted sesame this week in the Nadia wig from a wig sister who lives here like five miles. For me, she had posted it on flip. Your way again, I was really curious about it and when I found out she lived near me, we met up and she made the handoff. So this is toasted sesame, Hey hold still long enough. We can get it to focus, toasted sesame is rooted, but it's, in my opinion, a perfect shadow root. Look at that! It'S not overdone! It'S not super dark, so toasted sesame, I'll, read this and hopefully let you guys see it at the same time, medium brown at the roots overall light brown highlighted with wheat blonde, is description. One description to that. I found on a different site, said: light brown blend gold, ash and caramel on top of medium brown, medium brown root, so kind of a light brown with some dynamic color going on alright, let me put Nadia on I've, not worn Nadia. I did try Nadia on. I will do a review on Nadia because I only found one review on YouTube for Nadia, so Nadi has got not getting any love out there and she's. Actually quite a cute style. She'S got some bangs that I'm not quite sure about, yet she does have them. No lace front, but she does have a mono art which is fun, but this isn't about Nadia. This is about toasted sesame. All right. Let'S get out of the shadows here and check out toasted sesame, my papers blown away before I do my last wig. Don'T you just love that root? I just love that root. I think it's perfectly done. It'S really really golden the color, the Sun glinting off it a little bit so pretty such a pretty color hold on I'm gon na pick up my paper. I don't edit these. You guys, you know that I'm a splice a couple of videos together, but I don't edit them if there's a blooper, there's a blooper, alright, I'm in love with toasted sesame. So I think, if you are a blonde looking to go darker, maybe for winter fall, toasted sesame could be a great color. The wig sister who sold this to me thought she was too dark for her, and I think, if your aunt too long, if you are a nut - and you are experimenting with lighter colors toasted sesame - could be a good one if you've already experimented with. You know really highlighted wigs and you're you. You know you're comfortable heading into really light brown really dark blonde territory. I would consider toasted sesame to be a light brunette if she reads more brunette than blonde to me, but if you are new to lighter colors, she's gon na feel really really light, so be careful. Sometimes it's hard to tell your monitor might be pulling this color. A lot different, my I have two monitors at work and they read 100 % differently. If I look at a video on one than the other, the wigs look totally different. I'Ve got 15 percent battery left, so I got ta get going here. Last wig, this one's a great one. This is light red. Look at that beautiful, beautiful light red. I love this wait. This is a Irish red with some real dynamic colors, so light red two descriptions again: Irish red with subtle blonde highlights or blend of dark red-faced. Auburn dark rust, blonde and intense copper. What I see here is an Irish red with some dark rust blonde and intense copper. That'S what I see it. There is definitely see if I can get it for you. There is definitely some highlights going on. Can you see that darker lighter there is definitely highlighting going on it's just an unbelievable, read: okay, let's get her on. This is Bianca and Bianca has been warned because I am all about the red. Suddenly she's will Messi she's just been hanging out on a wig head, she's worn this week, actually Mel last Saturday, so we could go okay. We got ta get this one out in the sunlight. I love this color, but it is not for the faint of heart. This is a very, very dynamic color. Try to give you guys a couple of good looks and some different light. Now the sun's kind of coming out morn that can really distort color a little bit. Look at that! Isn'T that just gorgeous oops, sorry guys! I'M trying to make sure it's focusing on the hair and not on my face so light red, so pretty so pretty and now underneath the canopy. So those are the five colors I have for you guys, I'm gon na I'll write to all the descriptions in the description box, I'll link, Cynthia's channel so that you can go and check out her blonde. She has three of them. If you have any questions, let me know I would love to try more indie colors. I really would and some more m/v Styles funds are getting a little low here, because I've been buying a lot lately, so it'll probably be a while before I can try some others, but if I you know get some others I'll. Definitely let you guys know MB. Wigs MV has some fun colors I have had amaretto and cream is a beautiful, beautiful, medium dark brown. It'S a lot like medium brown, with just a little bit darker hints to it, but I sold that one because the style didn't work for me. But anyway, thanks for watching you guys, I really hope this was helpful. If there's any suggestions you have when we do these color spotlights, please let me know cuz I'd like them to be helpful for you guys and it's a toss-up inside-outside. What kind of light shows it the best? So hopefully this was good for you, thanks for watching and have a really good day.

Becky C.: I love Toasted Sesame. It’s one of my favorite shades along with Mochaccino-R and Light Bernstein Rooted. Thank you for the in depth color comparisons.

Brenda Gregory Yuen: Denise, I LOVED Toasted Sesame! I'm firmly in the blonde camp, do highlights and rooting just fine...and always wondered about Toasted Sesame! I might buy one for winter and see how it goes. It's beautiful. And you are SO kind for spending your time to show us around the wig world. I appreciate your kindness and willingness to do these. #hugs

Donna: Thanks for this! I'm glad that you and Cynthia have collaborated. You two ladies are my go-to for honest and comprehensive reviews.

jb jb: Thank you for all your hard work. You make my new wig wearing experience easier to manage!

Patty Carosi: Very pretty colors! Thank you it's really so helpful to see the colors!

Lori M: Ooh the Toasted Sesame is so pretty! What a great video collaborations between wig sisters featuring colors!! Please do more of these!!!

Sharlene Luther: Thank you Denise! This is so helpful. If manufacturers could use the same descriptions it would make buying so much easier.

K P: The medium brown has really subtle highlights and looks so pretty on you. I haven't tried an Envy wig before. Thank you for showing this video from outside. It made a big difference for choosing a shade for me. My bio hair color is the same as yours. The medium brown is definitely my shade. Thank you

dorsi7: oh Denise, thank you so much for this color comparison video .... it really helps us a lot .... we often present the blondes but the brunettes do not count for plums .... lollll ..... my favorite colors are the brunettes .... also in salt and pepper and lighter grays but I have not yet bought a wig of this color .... thank you and looking forward to your future videos .. ...

jh m: Thank you sooooo much for this VERY helpful info. Love you videos. Btw, you look GREAT with bangs. Very becoming on you ☺️

Jodi Bonk: Hi Denise! Thank you so much for all your videos! They are so informative and helpful! I was wondering about the color medium brown. I normally gravitate towards the base color #8. Is medium brown comparable? Or is chocolate caramel closer?

Frances Lock: Thank you for helping everyone by showing the colour comparisons in daylight. It’s very generous and considerate of you.

Kiki Jean: Thank you, Denise, for your excellent color review! (But it made me long for a little more MN summer—haha—I live in the Twin Cities)

KarenAB.: Thank you for this! Very very helpful. You look amazing btw in Nadia Toasted Sesame. It made me want to buy that wig! I love your vids bc you are genuine and dont try to come off sounding like you are the worlds foremost authority , sounding fake in the process like a couple other reviewers I see. So, thank you for that too! Xoxo

Daryl Ann Harrell: It looks like light brown is a lovely highlighted shade. Think it’s too dark for a 70 year old? This video has the best colors I’ve seen on any envy color spotlight vid. Congrats and thanks!

Deborah Cook: Love the lighter red. Been thinking about reds lately. Thank you for a very nice review of color.

Clara: I love toasted sesame it's gorgeous and the rooting is perfect! I've just watched Cynthia's video thanks so much for this collab Are they all synthetic? Do Envy wig caps run small?

Donna Q: so great! Thanks so much, love your videos. Medium brown and chocolate caramel are beautiful.

Kim S.: Great collab to show off these gorgeous shades! I think toasted sesame is a shade I need to look into, and I love the band on the style you have! You should wear her more in fall, it’s a cute style

Kathleen Beauchemin: Oh here goes! This was wonderful comparison video! So smart to film it outside! I love how one can get a real sense of all of the different shades in one color! Who knew!!??!! Toasted Sesame!!! I think that would be a great transition color for both bio blondes and brunettes! And the Irish Red looks so great on you...I don't think I could pull that one off but on you...stunning and fun! Thank you for filming this I love your videos...you arevso calming and matter of fact! As Mr. Roger's would say "Won't you be my neighbor "!

lil poohbear: that red is holy cow!! Wish Envy had a medium red for me. Thanks for the color reviews!!

Marlene Olson: I love Chloe! So cute. I just today got my first lace front - Micki by Envy. The color is Amaretto & Cream and it’s gorgeous! Darker brown with highlights throughout and a tiny bit of lighter tones around the face. I absolutely love, love it. This is a different style for me but very cute. I need to trim some bangs but I want to be very careful. I also have another Envy in my cart - one is Chocolate Caramel and the other is Chocolate Cherry. I couldn’t decide, but now I know - not crazy about chocolate caramel so I’ll go with chocolate cherry. I love the medium brown but that wasn’t an option, since I’m buying it on clearance. So thank you for this review - so helpful!! ❤️❤️

ChooseHappy Mc: You always provide the best information. Best reviewer!

Rita: Thank you for showing us the different colors. So helpful to see the colors in natural light. XO

Kathleen Beauchemin: I have to comment as we go along! Love medium brown! Never realized that there were so many different colors! Always thought it would look mousy!

Libby Adler: Hi Denise. I just found this video although I am a subscriber. It is interesting to me how blonde the Toasted Sesame color looks in this video. I have it in the Bianca, and it seems darker. That style in that color are a favorite of mine. Different sryles do impact how the colors look significantly, not just different monitors. This was helpful. Thanks.

Deborah Luongo: I love Envy. Have purchased two and I am a redhead very happy with lighter red! They ate truly fabulous! Thank you for sharing the Reds finally some websites out there are starting to show Reds. Not many companies have these beautiful Reds thanks again :-)

ChooseHappy Mc: Great color comparisons. So glad you did outside in indirect sunlight. Thanks for all your hard work

Sherry Flowers: I've tried on a Toasted Sesame. It is a beautiful color.

AlwaysABeautifulLady: These all look good on you!

Cindy S: I have a wig in toasted sesame that I'm trying to sell because it looks greenish on me. It doesn't make it easy the way different colors can look so different on different people! I do love these color comparisons - they really are helpful!

Patinkular: Hi Denis great video! what a fun idea to compare so many colors. Could U tell me how Envy’s L Red looks next to your Gemtress’s Zinnia in color 29? Is 29 lighter, more twds orange, ect? Thank U so much

Cheryl J: I understand how the color descriptions vary greatly on different sites. Denise, I’d much rather hear the colors described as you see them, in your words!

V ipsen: Thank you so much for this video ❤️

Kathy W: Very helpful.

Janet Wilson: I love your video I watch them all the time

Judy Anne: Toasted Sesame is SOOOOOO natural looking!!!

Debbie: Denise, your eyes look so much lighter with the Toasted sesame, they just become like a honey color, they pick up that light brown from the wig, that by the way looks beautiful on you, Nadia, gorgeous.!!!! How can I get to Flip your wig, is it on Instagram? Thank you for making smart, interesting and very useful videos, you are so honest and I'm so glad I found you. How and where do you sell your unwanted wigs? Are there special sites to buy pre-owned wigs in excellent condition?

Marlene Olson: Nadia looks really cute on you!

Noelle Goll: ♥️thanks so much!

Robin's Wig Party: Hi Denise. Is Cynthia's channel still available? The link isn't working for me and haven't been able to find otherwise. Thanks so much for doing this color comparison.

Sandy Morris: Great video, Denise! What and where is 'Flip your wig'?

Jezaberr: I tried to go to the youtube link for Cynthia, but it didn't work and I can't find her page.. Is she still active?

Cheryl J: Does toasted sesame remind you of shaded mocha? (JR)

Olivia Baker: Hi Denise. Do you have any wigs in the color of shaded hazelnut by Raquel Welch? That’s what I have. I’m looking for wigs that are close to that. I almost want to say the medium brown looks like it. Huh! Looking at the video again, I think the chocolate Carmel looks like the shaded hazelnut. Can you please help? Thank you.

Selenah: they all look blonde to me.

Psalm 51: That last red one looks like Ronald McDonald ..
