Trying Xmondo'S Blonde Toning Shampoo & Conditioner

Everyone welcome back to ernie ray tv channel, our channel everyone's channel, your channel, not your channel sort of you watch it. It'S not your channel! It'S ours like it's a collective. What we are doing is we are trying out the x-mondo supernova blonde tony shampoo and supernova blonde toning conditioner. Now i bought these off amazon uh. You could go on x-mondo. He has a website, one of those you'll be able to find it. Uh and he'll sell those there. Apparently he sells on amazon. I bought these on amazon, but unfortunately, what sucked about one of these i forgot. What'S the condition or shampoo who's, the shampoo, the shampoo when i ordered it from amazon, like amazon, must have like packaged it wrong that it squeezed some of the product out and we just had a big mess like all trapped inside the plastic wrapping and we had To clean it, so if you're ordering through amazon just know that that might be an issue, i didn't order it from the x-mondo website. I used it from amazon, so just a little warning out there for y'all, i didn't lose that much product. I ended up just like not caring, because i'm like whatever we have a full bottle, but anyways here is another amazon, human hair wig that we bought. This one was not 50.. This is 120 because it's 20 inches and it's 150 percent density um. I decided to use this wig because it has a the yellow tones because it's 6 13. and we're just going to wash them out and try out the x-mondo purple shampoo. He doesn't call it purple shampoo. He calls it supernova blonde toning shampoo and the supernova blonde supernova blonde toning conditioner and see how she turns out because we're just trying to create a nice canvas but yeah a good old blank canvas in case. You want to do some more coloring for like a future video. We have them buying some hair dyes here and there um. We have a collection, an assortment of a door dies that needs to get used. We don't have that many that honestly you're looking looking at i'm like, oh, i thought we bought so many, and then we don't looking through it for other things, we're like thinking about doing before we before we landed on this, like oh crap, we really don't have As many as we thought, we didn't so coloring's gon na be for a future video. Let'S just try this out, i'm like excited uh. The reason why i decided to uh try these out, because these are sulfate free and you guys keep telling me that sulfates dry out the hair and i'm like i've. I learned from the 50 amazon human hair videos that let's try to keep this as human hair feeling as possible. Let'S stay away from dryness, so sulfate free shampoo is right here. Obviously, conditioner sulfate free as well, because, like that look and feel especially the feel of human hair, is really what the whole bore of it is and the ones that we've been working on now. They feel worse than the night, wigs i'm like yeah. So this is how human hair is supposed to feel like not that 50 amazon human hair work that we put through it. Oh, my god, poor girl, she's, still gon na get more transformations, she's still kicking she's, i'm gon na be on a break, but anyways we're gon na go to the iphone footage, because i'm gon na put this on a wig head. I'M just gon na wash it in my sink. I'M gon na try a new method. Um i apply. This method on shop will beauties instagram for watching. I usually go down with the bucket, but i know a lot of a lot of y'all having commenting that, usually, if you leave a wick submerged in water it can. It can loosen up the knots of on the tracks, so i'm gon na try to avoid that. As well, obviously, i'm not gon na, like not i'm like, oh my god, i feel like valencia, i'm not not gon na wet it in a bucket in the future, because sometimes i need that okay on the go, but this time i'm gon na try something different. So, let's go to the iphone footage, all right y'all, so i am trying this new method of washing a wig, but let me tell y'all long story short. This method was not for me. I did not have enough space on my kitchen counter for the wig stand to latch on so then i just ended up like doing all sorts of weird stuff to try to get the hair wet and it didn't really work out. So then, after that, i had asked james to help me shampoo, the hair and that didn't work out either only because i felt like i was using too much product uh doing this method. Instead of my dipping method that i usually do, then after we were done, it seemed like because we left the shampoo there too long and we weren't able to saturate the whole hair. It seemed like it left some purple streaks on there. So i was like oop trying to figure out how to take those out, but yes, after i took the wig out of the wig head, i went back to shampooing the wig with my dipping method and then, after that i conditioned the wig with a dipping method. As well and let the wick sit in the conditioner for about five minutes after that, james googled, how to remove the purple streaks after purple shampooing a blonde wig and turns out the anti-dandruff shampoo method was the way to go. I made sure i screw up the parts that had the purple the most then i dumped out the water and then rinsed out the wig. Then i washed the wig again, but this time with my head and shoulders anti-dandruff shampoo, because it was the two-wing one. It was the conditioner and the shampoo and i'm like wait. I also want to recondition this wig, so i'm like. Maybe this will help. Maybe this will help, because it's a two-in-one but yeah anyways it. I ended up getting rid of a lot of the purple. Streaks like you, couldn't even see it but yeah. I bought the brand mondo's purple shampoos because i didn't want to use sulfates and turns out. I ended up using shampoos. I have sulfates in them because of the anti-dandruff shampoo, all right, we are back. Oh my god. Let'S reflect on what just happened. Oh my god! This is a lot i know. So we are not purple shampoo experts up in here, not in the least, and we have some thoughts and feelings that maybe you all can help us out with so james likes. Obviously, you already know james likes a 613 color. So that's why james never really tones his wigs no, but when we tried it, i feel, like my first mistake, was trying that new method of washing the wig with a wig head like a wearing a hair salon. It was so frustrating. No i'm not doing that. Again, it might work for the people that use it that way, but for me i was just like it's not going to work out for me yeah. I we had a cheap wig stand that i got for free and also like. We don't really have a whole lot of like space right here like as early like the tiniest bit of space, so we tried it and that's why it also didn't work, because the wig had kept falling off. So i was like it might work for the people that use it out there, but it's not working out for me. I rather just dip the purple shampoo in the bucket mix it up, so i could dilute and then dip in the wig like that, because what i've noticed is when i tried that uh wig head method of washing the wig um notice. I was using a lot of shampoo, a purple shampoo. I ended up leaving purple streaks on the hair um, which is always an issue i have whenever i wash my wigs. It'S partly why i don't really like doing the purple shampoo method, because i always feel like. I use too much and then it leaves like purple, streaks or silver streaks in the hair that i have to like re-wash it to get out yeah and that's a good thing, because james googled right away when we saw the purple streaks hot, to remove the purple. Streaks, probably something new, but i didn't even know to do this. Apparently you have to use anti-dandruff shampoo, so i use the same anti-dandruff shampoo that i had from the dollar store and we washed it. It did come off. The water turn out turned purple and then we emptied the bucket out, and then i realized, oh my god, but now the hair might feel dry again. So i'm like i remember, i had a head and shoulders two in one conditioner and shampoo in there, and then it also had lime in it too, to help get rid of the um purple yep, and then i use this shampoo and then actually remove that purple. Those purple streaks so now we have a kind of like yellowish, platinum tone, wig. Also, our lighting up there is yellow yeah, that's not helping, so you see a lot of yellow up here. If you look at the bottom like it definitely, this is the true color of how it looks is our with yellow overhead lights. So this bottom part that's how it's supposed to look um. So the reason why i wanted to try the x mondo, i'm gon na call them purple shampoos um it's because they have no sulfates, and you guys have been mentioning to me that sulfates dry out to dry out the hair, i'm like okay, i'm going to buy This, but i ended up using shampoo to have sulfates in them either way in my channel, we're not going to care we're still going to use shampoos that have sulfates in them because those shampoos come in handy and it worked um. Obviously, i'm gon na keep these around for my hair when i bleach my hair, because i don't want my hair dried like that, yeah, like i have to say like personally using when i had bleached hair, i loved purple shampoo in that regard, because what you're doing In the shower and you're lathering it up, you just put it right in your head, it's different from like with hair like wigs. It'S really cumbersome like i feel like it's a two-person job for me, like someone has to hold it. While i sit there and just do all this, because if i put it directly on the head, i always had that problem with all my other wigs, where there'd be like a long gray streak in it somewhere that i wouldn't notice. That'S why i don't know. I, like the method i've been using where i just fill in the bucket or whatever, with the purple shampoo mix it around mix it beforehand and then dip it in because it dilutes it um. But i don't know, maybe you guys have better methods of shampooing blonde. Wigs with purple shampoo, specifically with purple shampoo, because sometimes it leaves the least purple stripes like it did in this video. I have a question and a concern for the audience of hairdressers out there that watch this y'all love to like jump in and give us like stuff. I need help with this. How was the proper way to condition a wig like? Am i supposed to like get my hands like that and just run it through it wet? Do it use two people, because every time i feel like, i never conditioned my wig right and i put the stuff right in the water it just floats around yeah. That'S what i have area that's the way i condition the wigs i put in a bucket like put the conditioner mix it around and you still see like floating particles like it doesn't dissolve the conditioner's down the soft. So i just dip in the wig and then i just add lather on the the conditioner as it lands like we're just catching them in the body yeah and then like once, it's like dissolved in the hair. I leave the wig inside the conditioned water for a little bit once all the conditioners dissolve in the wig, but what i noticed when i was doing it with the purple shampoo. It doesn't work the same way because that purple lashes down to like a specific portion of the hair and it would like basically transfer onto the hair and it made it purple, but good thing. Good thing. We learned that anti-dandruff shampoo method cause it removed. Those stripes, like turn up, give it give us a full spin, james, okay, boom, no purple in sight, which is good and after washing the wigs. Obviously, we never show this method the drawing method, but the hair always tangles up human hair. So we actually went to like uh the cvs here - yeah, oh smith, smith, and that's right, guys, yeah nice and we got a hair detangler. This one is actually pretty sickening, it's simple truth: it's smooth and conditioned with coconut oil, shea butter to leave hair manageable, and it was cute because we actually started using detanglers for synthetic hair for synthetic detanglers yeah and that actually helps with smoothing the hair. So i'm like hey, it might work with human hair too, and so we bought a human hair detangler and it actually was significant. It was pretty sickening like i liked it as far as like detangling went with human hair. That'S always my problem too, where i feel like it just gets so clumped up and dreads right here and you have to like strip, but actually it did its job in this gig and obviously uh when we blow dry it. We use that uh beyond the zone. Turn up the heat heat protectant, i love this is oily still sickening still sticking still in a rotation with us and obviously, when we learned from the last method, we also added some oils to the wig because right away, i'm like we are not going to treat This wig the same way the way we did the 50 amazon human hair wig. So we added some oils to it that way they dry up and it still leaves the hair smooth. What was that oil? You were using like a little bit, went a long way. Oh this one argan oil - i literally this time in the last video you also saw me, do multiple pumps, but this this one's not as dry. So i just did one pump rub that in my hands, my all my hands were oily and then i just started going through the wig, and then it went a long way because it lasted like my hands were still oily after going through everything yeah. And then i topped it off with the coconut oil from ogx and we brushed it through and she's here. This is what we got. This is the final result. She'S cute, i feel, like i look like v neil from face off. Remember her the judge. Oh yes, oh my god. What was she? What was her uh? What'S her quote that she always said her catch race? Oh, that was a different one, also a similar person. Oh okay, that's what i was thinking about glow up globe. That'S what i was thinking about. Ding dong, oh my god, but yes, i should have compared these to the shimmer light shampoo. But honestly, i honestly, like the consistency of this one, a little bit more than shimmer like the shimmer lights right away, i feel like it feels drying in the hands and it also shimmer light smells so bad yeah. Actually they just do that right now. Just don't touch the hair james yeah or you want me to do it. Okay, so let me get some other purple shampoo. It'S gon na be a waste, but we paid for it. It'S fine. It smells cute yeah like it smells like a shampoo like it doesn't. Shimmer lights, just like his dies. Yes, like his hair dies. Yes and his hair that i smell pretty cute yeah. I see the conditioner. The conditioner also smells like his hair's eyes, but honestly i rather have that than shimmer lights, because shimmer lights thanks yeah am. I am i tripping no you're, not tripping, like i used to wash my wigs with it. That'S why i stopped doing the like toning method, because it leaves that scent in there too, and i have to spray the hair with more product, yeah and right away with shimmer lights. It usually feels dry dry right away, like it feels dry in my hands. This is like feels like his thighs again. They feel like a little. They feel moistury a little bit like um pudding, texture. If that's what we're gon na say, i'm gon na say pudding texture. I don't know. My texture is like that. I'M not a texture expert. So i'm just like feeling myself in the monitor right now, i feel like the girl from last night in soho. It was giving me to me a little bit like toxic when uh britney spears. Isn'T that, oh with a bodysuit? Yes, oh my god, i have other plans for this week, but that root idea is also cute. Should we try roots we've never done roots. Before i mean we tried with that billy irish transformation, that was awful, but we haven't done roots on a hard front. We haven't done proper roots before okay. Let me rinse this off. We could use those, we don't know purple shampoo and blonde hair. It'S it's a it's a different thing. It'S a journey, especially for me, and i'm not afraid to admit that. I don't know a whole lot about like toning hair, so if y'all want to give me some pointers, i'm more than happy to take them, i'm glad we did this video because we learned how to remove the purple streaks out of hair yeah. We learned something. I know i'm like oh my god. This human hair journey continues yeah. It continues probably by like a year or two years from now we're finally gon na know enough.
