Colored Roots Tutorial: Wig Dyeing + Install | Arrogant Tae Inspired | Tinashe Hair

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so today we did a little setting and i really really like it. I think it's super cute um. I know you guys have been seeing this trend going around. It'S the colored rooting, so we're gon na like get into this, and i'm really excited for this particular week, because i was able to skip a step to achieve this. Look that's very on trend. Okay, like the colored roots, is giving like. If understood, the assignment was a person, it would be me no, but for real, though i'd really be trying like, if you guys have not noticed i've been really in like my creative bag and i'm like what can i do to switch it up and i've been Having fun, i've been just taking a lot more time planning on my content, thinking of different things to do trying to like do things outside of the box and like really take my time with it like this took me. I did this like last week and i just was like sitting on it until i felt like it was time to put it on my head. So i could execute, and i think i did just that because i just don't like rushing things anymore or just putting out content for the sake of putting out content. You'Ll see me when you see me okay, so if you want to see how i got this look um and how i achieved it was super easy you guys like it really really was. I was able to skip a step like i said: um with this particular wig, so make sure you guys are liking this video subscribing to my channel and keep watching all right guys. So, as you can see, this hair is green. Okay straight out the box. It is giving grinch who stole christmas. Not me, you know why, because we finna remix this wig up just a little bit, so i'm using this um kiss colors in the shade jet black and i'm literally painting the black onto the hair with like a paintbrush. Basically, if you, if you look at it, it's given a paintbrush, i know some would say why didn't you just watercolor it tasha, because if i watercolor it's going to turn into a hunter green - and i literally wanted this to be jet black, so i painted it Honestly took me a while it took me about an hour which is long when i could just watercolor it, but you know i wanted this look to be a certain way, so i literally just went in and just saturated it you have to have to have to Saturate this product, i used about four uh bottles of this kiss and i just combed it through make sure it was through all the strands like i. As you can see. I just keep going going through, so this hair did come pre-colored. You guys have been seeing this trend going around with the with the um bright root and the dark hair, but i was able to skip a step. I didn't have to dye my blonde wig a color and then have to still dye the hair black. We skipped that okay, tenache, actually just came out with a line of new colored wigs, and they have a bunch of colors from ginger to this green that you guys see, they have a pink, they have gray, they have yellow and they have blue and they literally Come ready to wear okay, so i was actually gon na wear it like this, but it was just a little bit more green than i anticipated. I thought it was like that soft neon green, like that scissor green um, but it was definitely a neon green which isn't bad. The coloring was really nice. It was very even it was a good color job. It just was a lot especially for this season, since we're in like the fall winter months. This is more of like a summery color in my opinion, so i decided to just switch it up and it was perfect because we have this new trend going on with the color roots. So i thought this was the perfect wig. So, of course, this look was inspired by arrogant tay. For me i know everybody can say he didn't start this okay, but he made it popping okay. So i guess you can say a little billy, eilish, arrogant, inspo and i'm literally just um dyeing the hair black. As you can see - and i did leave the roots, so i wanted this to be more of a rooting. I'Ve seen a few people. Do it and they're doing more of like a dip dye method where it kind of looks more ombre, but you want it to literally just be roots, so there's not much of the green showing it is mostly black but um. It'S enough to make a statement. So for this install, i am trying some new product. Well now i don't want to say necessarily new, but my current go-to products and i've been obsessed with them. I will link them below as well as show you guys in just a second but um, i'm trying to perfect there. We go like hello bomb, so i'm trying to perfect my blonde or colored wig installs. I feel like i'd, be getting the color on the mark, but the lace sometimes i'd be tripping, like i don't know, but we're going to get it right. Um we're going to get this right together. I will say um what will i say. I don't know what i'm going to say, but anyways um yeah just watch me that was awkward. Just watch me install this. It'S like my typical go-to. If you guys see me burst out into song, i was listening to summer walker's new, album i've been listening to it non-stop as i'm going through something but um yeah just sit back enjoy and i will check back in in just a second. So so so the install was pretty basic um, but now i'm just chopping up the hair, because it is like a shoulder length moment and then i went ahead and curled it um. I did start off with curling with a curling wand, but then i used like a barrel curler, that's why you don't see a lot of curling going on and i just brushed it out played with it. Did my makeup and called it a day, honey. This install was actually really easy. I did dye this a few weeks ago, maybe two weeks ago, and i just put it on recently because i just was like you know i need i need to be in the mood for this. I just like this is something where you just got to be in the mood. You know what i'm saying. So i hope you guys enjoyed this. Let me know if you guys want more fun. Looks like this. Now that everything's, like finished and together, like i feel like the green shirt, is just making the green and the hair pop more like before. I was honestly very underwhelmed, i'm like i really like it and i might do the little space buns too. If i do i'll plug it in somewhere, but i really like this - i feel like this is like very fitting space. Buns are like cute but like it might start to like take away from it like it's just a lot going on. You know, but i love that i did it more of like just a root because, like think about it, if you were to do like a blonde and you were to have rooting, it would be like a small root. You know what i'm saying, not more so of an ombre, so that is what i did and i absolutely love this. I love tinashe's hair. I knew that this was gon na. I knew it was gon na hit. It was just a little different for me. You know i just love the phase that, like hair, is in right now, like it's just so creative and just like we're trying different things like green roots and black hair like who would have ever thought, but it looks really good.
