How To Dye A Wig Red | Loreal Hi-Color Highlights In Red/Magenta

What'S up youtube welcome back to my channel so today i'm gon na show you how i turned this blonde wig into a red one using l'oreal high color highlights and i'm gon na be using two packs of the red color and one pack of the magenta, and I did more red than the magenta because i wanted to be more so on the bright red side and i'm using this 30 volume developer by salon care that i got from sally's. I think it was around like three or four dollars and if you can tell, i am adding a lot of that developer, because i really want it on like the thick but kind of watery side so that it can distribute evenly throughout the hair. So before i apply the dye, i am going to comb out my hair to make sure i get rid of all the knots in the tangles and then i use this perm brush to put the dye on, and you can find this pretty much anywhere. I got mine for my mom, but you can find it at sally's or any like hair store. So now i'm going to take this comb and comb through the hair to make sure that i don't miss any blonde spots, and i know some people might be wondering how i got this blonde color but y'all. This was not the blind color. I wanted it's, not the color i wanted at all, but i ended up bleaching. This hair, like three times with a 40 volume developer and it still didn't, come out the color that i wanted. So i said if i'm just got a hair red, because i cannot like i can't bleach this hair. No more so i let the dye sit in the hair for about 30 to 40 minutes, and then i rest it out, and i washed it with this garnier fructis sleek and shine shampoo, and these are the results. So after i shampoo the hair, i'm just going to go in with this silicone mix and y'all this stuff, this stuff right here is so bomb for weave. I love this stuff um. It makes the hair so soft and basically like brand new, and it definitely needed it after i bleached his hair. So many times i don't know how it works for natural hair, but i know it's so good for weave, so i definitely recommend it so after that i put it in this walmart plastic bag and you can use any like plastic bag that you want. But i like to let this sit overnight. If you don't have time to sit overnight, i highly recommend letting it sit at least for an hour now, i'm using this heat protectant to flat iron, my hair.
