How To Blend Hair W/ 99J Burgundy Headband Wig Without Dye | Supernova Hair

Um, hey everybody, it's charmelle welcome or welcome back to my channel. So today, i'm here with another wig video and i already have my hair prepped. So today's sponsor is supernova hair and they sent me over this beautiful curly, 99j headband wig, it's 20 inches 180 density. I will leave all the information to this unit down in the description box, so it's a standard wig three clips in the front two clips in the back. However, instead of using the clips to attach my wig, i'm going to be using a wig grip shout out to carmen j, she left me a comment in a previous video suggesting i try it with one of these. I usually use these for like lace wigs, but i was like i don't know why. I never thought to use it with these headband wigs, because sometimes the clips on the headband wigs can be a little uncomfortable. So yeah i've been wearing it with the wig grip and it stays just fine. So, as you guys can see, my natural hair is not the same color of this wig, but i really wanted to try like this burgundy wig. I think this color is really pretty so i'm going to show you guys a quick hack to make your hair match um. You can wear it like this, but if you do want your hairline to match the wig, i'm just gon na go into this pink eye. Shadow and i'm going into this eyeshadow brush - i don't know what these are called. I forgot what they're called, but i'm just gon na, take some of that eyeshadow and i'm going to run it along my hairline. So usually, i would use like a hairspray, a colored, hairspray or colored edge control. However, when i went to my beauty supply, i could not find any so i decided to try it with eyeshadow and it worked out perfect. I was nervous at first, but it ended up coming out really nice. So i'm just going to start by putting all that eyeshadow over my edges. So i'm just kind of making sure the color is applied first and then i'm going to go in with a edge control brush and a little bit of edge control. And i'm just going to smooth in that eyeshadow along my hair, and i love this method because it's completely safe, you don't have to worry about doing any damage to your hair and it's completely temporary um. So, the next day, when i didn't wear this wig, all i did was - i left my edges out when i took a shower and washed my face and allowed my edges to just get wet with water and the color was gone. So i love this technique. Definitely want to try it with different color wigs in the future, so yeah. Now, i'm just kind of going back and forth with the brush and applying the eyeshadow. Just until i get my desired color payoff and then i'm just going in with a napkin to clean up some areas so that it doesn't look so messy um. Some of the color did kind of spill over to my forehead. So i'm just cleaning it up, making sure it looks good and then i'm also gon na go back over it with just my face brush. I didn't have any product on it, but i just went in with my face: face brush, make face makeup brush to make sure that it's blended nicely, and that is it for the installation portion. I think it looks really good um yeah i'm liking the red. When i get tired of like my brown and blonde face, i'm definitely gon na go to red next, but yeah. That'S just a quick little hack to make your edges blend with your colored headband wigs, and now i'm going to show you guys a couple of the headbands that they sent over the first one. Is this velvet headband and it has pearls on it. Super cute and simple, the next one is this: like pretty marble headband and this one goes all around your head and i decided that i wanted to try a style, so i'm basically going to be doing like a high bun with a bang. So, first i'm going to start by sectioning out some hair in the front to have as my bang and then i'm going to pull the rest of the hair in a ponytail and then once i have that hair in a ponytail. I'M going to take my bang portion and i'm going to tuck it underneath the headband and pull it through the front, and then it's going to create like this cute side. Bang. So you could do it like that, but it was a lot of hair going on. So i'm going to make some adjustments and put it in a bun and i'm just going to take a little bit of mousse just to kind of weigh my bang down a little bit. So it doesn't get too frizzy and fluffy, and that was it for this style. Overall, i love this wig. I think the color is beautiful. It'S super easy super effortless and yeah, definitely another great headband wig, to add to your collection. So again, this hair is from supernova hair.
